The Flash (I) (2023)

YOU WANT TO GET NUTS? LET'S GET NUTS.

"The Flash" was actually amazing you guys. This movie destroys expectations and at the same time mends all bridges. Lightning in a bottle. And as great as Keaton and Ben are... Ezra is even better. I have to say that it's not just phenomenal, it's a full on celebration of DC. An emotional action packed ride FULLY FOCUSED on Barry Allen! Supergirl, Ben and Keaton's Batman compliment the film with applauded worthy moments but this is a Flash story. The good towers way over the bad. I loved it. I would easily recommend this to DC fans, and even action lovers in general. I think I have a new favorite movie!

Just to save you, I'd give all of me

'Spider-Man Across the Spider-verse' might be the most visually ambitious/creative/spectacular movie I've ever seen. It's WILD how visually stimulating this movie really is. It's decadently rich, complex and layered and it earns every second of it. Flawless performances and whip smart dialogues and beautiful songs accompanied with next level visuals that are nothing short of breathtaking. It luxuriates in its bold creative choices and delivers a bounty of treats. In conclusion, the film is a piece of art that will leave a lasting impression on viewers, as it surpasses every criterion of making a perfect Spider-Man movie.

Fast Ten Your Seatbelts!

The action is big, loud and very entertaining!!

The cars and girls look amazing!!

The soundtrack is just awesome!

Overall this is a solid entry in the franchise. After experiencing a whirlwind of feelings at the theatre, I can safely say that I was thoroughly entertained and satisfied by this film. Overall, I am pleased that they included some hints of flavor to their backstory, racing, and heists; or, to put it another way, much much fan service. It's well worth the extra two hours and the cost, so don't hesitate to buy tickets!.

Glad to see almost all of the Fast & Furious cast back. Gave a big smile on the face.

Mommy's with the maggots now

The horror will have you gripping your seat until the very end!

Witnessed the most terrifying movie ever made. "Evil Dead Rise" is a reminder that the iconic ED universe is still one of the greatest horror franchises of all time. Director Lee did a great job introducing the book back into the modern times in a great way, it goes well with the movie's script. A solid sequel after 10 years. The editing and especially the sound design create an atmosphere that never allows these characters a break as they could be facing death around the corner. The Kills in this movie were gory and brutal to watch I highly recommended it! Can't wait for the next entry in the franchise.

He's Back!
13 March 2023
I don't care for the #Oscars all too much these days but this one stood out for me, been a fan of Brendan Fraser for so many years, grew up loving his movies, one of my favourite films is The Mummy, if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it.

Brendan has gone through a lot and was extremely sad when he vanished from the scene, then hearing all that he was going through hurt the heart.

When he came back I tuned in to Doom Patrol because of him and in my opinion held the show together, I was so happy to see him back in his element.

The Whale was a heartbreaking story, even tho not a complex one the phenomenal acting by everyone in that film made it all too real.

So happy for Brendan 🖤 Well done A24.

A Bear Did Cocaine
24 February 2023
Cocaine Bear celebrates its nonsensical story, gives Its characters (and bear) plenty to chew on, and it gives us exactly what we signed up for. It's a great horror-comedy about a bear that eats cocaine - probably the best we'll ever get. Cocaine Bear is gory, fun as hell, packed with hilarious grotesque kills and over-the-top characters, and at 90-ish minutes, it's paced near perfectly and never overstays its welcome or overdoses on the joke. There's also some worthwhile jump scares and the final kill was a perfect way to conclude the movie. Overall, this is an original and fun addition to the horror genre.

Go Big or Go Home
19 February 2023
This is the biggest of the "Ant-Man" films, but if you think about it, the story arc of Scott evolved to the point where he deserved something really big on his own. It had a great opportunity to shock and surprise but chose to play it safe and missed out on some great potential. In that light, Quantumania is stellar! Great story, and flawless execution, makes this one the most epic ride since Endgame. Some funny moments, but nothing too hilarious or overbearing. The film doesn't have the nerve to wipe the smile off the audience's face like in "Infinity War" but still, "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" is a fun ride that both long-time fans and casual viewers will enjoy. The music score hits hard in some of the scenes, the conflict is imminent, and the final battle is really creative! One of the best villains so far in the MCU and this movie makes me incredibly excited to see where they take his character. Just remember to always look out for the little guy.

The Last of Us (2023– )

"I Got You, Baby Girl"
17 January 2023
Touching yet explosive, The Last of Us' series premiere encapsulates everything that makes the opening chapter of the video game's story so special - whether it's the first or the hundred-and-first time that it's punched you squarely in the gut. It's a series that will stay with you long after you've finished watching it. What's also spectacular is that people who've never seen or played the game could watch this and thoroughly enjoy/understand it. So far, my vote is 100000/10 and I can't wait to see more. I am terrified for what's in store for Joel and Ellie on their journey, its gonna be a ride to remember.

THE NEW ERA IN THE DC UNIVERSE BEGINS
20 October 2022
Black Adam âš¡ is DC's most action-packed film to date. It's a non-stop thrill ride that is all about spectacle, and it knows it. There is barely any time to breathe, or even talk. It's a Snyder-esque antihero spectacle. Dwayne Johnson has waited for what seems a lifetime to play the titular role and he doesn't disappoint. Pierce Brosnon is a standout. Centineo and Swindell are so fun to watch. This movie has wall to wall action, heart, comedy and it was made with the fans in mind to build towards something special in the DC Universe. Loved every second of it. Stick around for the credit scene. It is worth the wait.

Werewolf by Night (2022 TV Movie)

You had me at Werewolf
7 October 2022
The style may be old, and the tropes may be well-worn, but Werewolf by Night's Marvel twist is enough to keep it feeling relatively fresh while tapping into the nostalgia of horror film fans. Werewolf by Night is a wondrous homage to the classic Universal monster movies. It's about as scary as those original films are to a modern audience, but that doesn't matter - it faithfully evokes the kind of classic horror that we haven't seen in decades. So happy to see the Marvel monsters finally getting added to the MCU. I can't wait to see more supernatural characters. It's the only MCU thing I've been excited for.

One Thrilling Ride
18 September 2022
Before it started your warned "strong bloody violence" most definitely from start to finish. You will not be disappointed. Lots of action, humor, plot twists, good acting and special effects, cameos, a tight story, tension, and surprises. I love that they dove deep into each character and showed us their past so we understand how they became the way they are today as well as why they take certain actions and decisions. The music is fabulous & the Cinematography beautifully captures every moment. Also do not walk out on the end or you'll miss a very funny vital part of the ending. What an exhilarating ride. 🚅🔥

The MCU continues to find a way to stay fresh, utilizing the multiverse and it's endless possibilities. It's jaw-dropping, dark, creepy and visually epic. Great acting. This is Wanda's film. Hats off to Sam Raimi for doing such a great job. Expect the unexpected. 💫🔥

Absolutely loved #Peacemaker the man John Cena went from the guy you want to hate in SS to the guy you want to hug in Peacemaker.

That being said Vigilante is my favourite, his character just kills me James Gunn is a genius.

Hello Peter
16 December 2021
Saw the best Spider-Man film of my life. Spider-Man: No Way Home is a pop culture milestone, it WILL BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY!!! The story, the action and THE FINAL ACT OF THE FILM, TRULY SPECTACULAR. Spider-Man: No Way Home hits all the right notes as the MCU'S latest entry. Its impact on the universe as a whole, as well as the overall emotional beats, all feel earned. Though it struggles with some tired superhero tropes, everything else about it will leave fans grinning ear-to-ear.
