Love in Zion National: A National Park Romance (2023)
So bad
This is so bad in so many ways, to start at the beginning the beauty shots are not the Denver skyline, it has a very distinctive one, the shot of the outside and the inside of the museum is not the museum in Denver, the name was changed years ago to Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the so-called extensive collection of American Indian artifacts etc. Is not so and the exhibits have been shut down. The acting is terrible especially, Cindy Busby...just awful and the rest are pretty bad also. The only thing good is the scenery of Zion, would have been nice if they pronounced it correctly. There is no Anasazi Museum in Zion, there is one in Boulder. UT but not in a 'cave' as shown in the Park. You would think that whomever wrote this would have researched so much better, and they would have used the correct beauty shots...I mean really...so poorly done especially since the facts are out there and available. Not worth the time to watch since so completely wrong in all ways.
In the Key of Love (2019)
Not that great
Another poor attempt of trying to pull off someone being a professional photographer. Being one myself I saw so many things that were wrong. A few examples...using a telephoto lens for close range photos, absolutely will not work...for pictures around the campfire, not enough light so either must use a flash or have the lens completely open and if so the camera would have to be on a tripod because with hand held there would be movement of the camera and the pictures would be out of focus...with people involved the camera must be held vertical to avoid people not being completely in the shot...neck strap for a reason, use it, it helps steady the camera...auto focus is only used when absolutely necessary...a flash used indoors. Plus it was just not that great and an old and a way too much used tired plot line.
Snowkissed (2021)
It is ok
This one is tolerable...at least Canada is Canada, not pretending to be the US. But Kate is a real pain and annoyance with her constant complaining...was very old, very fast.
A Winter Princess (2019)
Predictable
Plot is tired and worn out. British Columbia once again looks nothing like Colorado. .. Colorado has real mountains and B. C. doesn't. H
And how many times can the word 'Snowball' be used in an hour twenty minutes? (Plus a winter gala named 'Snowball' has been used before like the rest of the plot.)
Welcome to Christmas (2018)
Lame
This script should have gone into the shredder. Boringly predictable, the kids over act, well worn story line, etc...typical sappy crappy same list of the same things in all the movies. Not worth watching.
Coyote Creek Christmas (2021)
The worst
Just plain lame and the same recycled plot elements. And what is with everyone always having a coffee cup in their hand. And the fake drinking of that coffee is so obvious. Also there is no Denver Historical Society. Colorado Historical Society, yes. These movies just keep getting worse.
Love in Winterland (2020)
Should be buried in an avalanche
Just one word...LAME. No wait...two words...incredibly LAME.
Falling for You (2018)
Seriously
In the first 15 minutes too many stupid conversations about stupid coffee. Pretty pathetic. The rest was lame also....same reused elements. Plus the usual explosion of fake Fall leaves and trees every where...so obvious.
Surprised by Love (2015)
The worst
One word...awful. Too cliche among other things. Best thing about it is Tim Conway.
Sweet Autumn (2020)
Nothing new
Nothing new in this one. Same recycled storyline as all the rest. Yawn.
Summer Villa (2016)
Predictable as usual
Lame and predictable on all accounts. Nothing original.
MacGyver: High Control (1991)
Who were they trying to fool
It is amazing how much snow Southern California gets for a place that doesn't get snow.
MacGyver: The Outsiders (1988)
Serious Ripoff
This episode is a blatant ripoff of the 1985 movie 'Witness'.
Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays (2019)
The worst
If I had a dollar for every time the word 'amazing' was said I could live off the money. Complete over use of the word. So much wrong with this... gushy kids are a complete turn off, dialogue lame, completely fake beauty shots of 'Memphis', fake snow is obvious, leading man is awful, and so much more including the usual plot lines.
What We Left Behind: Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (2018)
Worth watching
I just found out that this existed and bought one right away. Other than the Original series, DS9 is my favorite. Was great to see all the actors after all these years and was very interesting to see how they work out a story line. Was done before the loss of Rene and Aron and that being said it was prophetic in that Rene would talk about that he would have something for his obituary other than his role on Benson and in the 'script' the writers were writing Nog is killed. Enjoyed the 2 hours very much.
Worst Cooks in America: Doomed Dinners (2020)
Seriously?
Are people (the women especially) really this clueless and stupid? I have watched this series from the beginning and the ones they pick for each new one seem to get worse. I did like that Alex did tell one of the contestants to shut up and cook.
Nature of Love (2020)
Just not good
Poor acting, poor writing, poor all of it. Actors are completely forced and unnatural which comes off difficult to watch. Stuck it out as had nothing else to watch, but it was painful.
Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Cooks and the Best of the Worst (2020)
The worst keeps on coming
I have watched this version from the beginning and all have not been great. The latest one is awful. Really tired of them always having to think that they must have to be 'on' the whole time. The trying to be funny falls completely flat and far from funny. Dave Coulier was completely annoying the whole time. It would really be nice if these people would take this seriously and not treat it as a joke.
NCIS: Los Angeles (2009)
Not sure why this is still on
First I have not watched NCIS Los Angles from the beginning. But of the episodes I have watched have been less stellar. The writing is lame and juvenile. And the acting is amateur. The best thing has been when John M. Jackson was on. I am at a loss as to why it has lasted as long at it has.
Bottled with Love (2019)
Different than most
I did like this one for once. But it is a serious ripoff of 'You've Got Mail' just updated.
Beauty and the Beast: Dead of Winter (1988)
Enjoyable with a flaw
This episode could be such a happy and beautiful one and one that was needed because of some of the previous ones. And I wish that they had left it so without the ruin of it with Paracelsus in it.
Under the Autumn Moon (2018)
A bit heavy on the Autumn
They went seriously way overboard on the Fall decorations in this one. Everything decorated but the outhouse. And maybe that was too.
Hearts of Winter (2020)
Predictable as all the rest
The only thing going for this one is the background plot is different, but it contains the usual, predictable elements that run through all Hallmark movies. Dialog is lame...do people really talk like this? And do women really let themselves be talked into anything? Why is so much wrapped around coffee and phones. Not sure where the location is supposed to be, as the only place mentioned is Denver. If Denver or Colorado, Canada looks nothing like either one. I am not hung up on Hallmark movies, have only watched a few, but enough to know that same old same old is prevalent. Keep hoping that one is worth watching.
Love Under the Rainbow (2019)
Not So Great
This movie is not one of Hallmark's best. The acting is less than stellar and the dialogue is lame at best, complete over-use of the word amazing, and the plot has too many usual clichés, how many times are you, Hallmark, going to use the spilled coffee, job offer in another city, etc.? Watched it only because had nothing else to do.
Love in Store (2020)
Lame at best
Will make it short, watched in for 10 minutes and turned it off. Terrible acting and the rest just as bad.
