Der Tiger von Eschnapur (1959)
Leper apocalypse?
This is an okay adventure for kids, with opulent settings and costumes, but you have to wonder about the behavior of the lepers in the caves below the palace. Unlike their passive relatives in Ben Hur, these lepers are aggressive like we see zombies behave in innumerable horror films. Combat scenes are very fake, as well. And the chief antagonist's comeuppance occurs through a rapid sequence of very forced, but apparently random, consequences of his actions.

The Big Combo (1955)
Colorization ruined the film noir nature of it on plex
Really poor leaky colorization in the Plex stream I watched. Totally ruined the film noir aspect. But the movie itself was good, plot-wise. Enjoyed seeing The Godfather's Barzini in an earlier role. Worth a view, but get the original b/w if you can.
Black Swan (2010)
The picture of Dorian Gray?
Finally got around to seeing this movie a decade and more late, but what jumped out at me were the parallels to Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray.
