The Elevator (2021)
A great actor in a terrible movie
A terrible movie with only one decent actor. Eric Roberts is a stellar actor who unfortunately found himself trying to carry this failure of a movie. The supporting cast is simply not there as far as credibility. The script is weak and slow moving. The director probably could have used more money for retakes. Some scenes are so cringe you will want to just turn that crap off. It took me two sessions to get through the movie but I finally managed it. The only thing that brought me back was Eric Roberts who has been in some amazing movies with amazing performances, proving he has the chops. Sadly, hollywood for whatever reasons hasn't seen his utility. In a perfect world Roberts would be given better opportunities. This movie was a sad mistake.
Bunker 6 (2013)
Great little low budget film
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Some of the characters in the film appeared weak and unbelievable, in the beginning. But, if you hang on and wait for that plot twist at the end you will find that it all ties together nicely, and makes a lot more sense. I thought the acting was done well enough and was mostly believable. All in all it is a fun idea on a dystopian past created by the Cuban Missile Crisis, had that nuclear event actually taken place. It is Twist on history much like Tarantino has been known to do in some of his movies. This little movie was great fun.
Dave Chappelle: The Closer (2021)
I laughed so hard I cried!
Once again Dave Chapelle scores with laugh out loud comedy. You need to watch this to the very end to truly appreciate this act. Dave makes you laugh but he also shows his heart. He truly cares about comedy, the audience, up and coming comedians and Yes... the LGBTQ community. Reserve your judgement until the absolute end. You will not be disappointed!
