An absolute must see!
24 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I can pretty much watch any show in any language as long as there are subtitles and a good hook to keep me interested. This series was not one I would generally chose but I was bored out of my mind wanting to just laze around and do nothing but watch movies all day. I am so glad I clicked on this series. From the first 10 mins I was laughing and by the 3rd episode I drank the blood and was all in, so to speak. The actors are phenomenal in their own quirky and sometimes cheesy way, but there is a camaraderie that grows and develops as you get into each episode. The banter, the slap stick and snuffing of each others personalities with the goofy expressions is just on point what you would expect from this cultural masterpiece. I am Asian so I relate well with the humor, and it does not fall short of what I would expect. But it also gave me something I did not expect to feel from the first few episodes. I felt the heart-warming friendship and compassion between Jin Isoo and Yoon beginning to emerge. A sense that over the next few episodes, the despise and determination she initially had, to get Jin Isoo removed from the Police force, was slowly dissipating into an inconceivable bond that was truly meant to be their destiny. Jin Isoo's character is impeccably diverse. You watch this guy go from a spoiled rotten brat to a very charismatic, innocent of motherly relationships, generously warm hearted and caring gentleman, brother, son and friend. He is trying to find himself through the eyes of his team mates because he has only ever known the emptiness in his heart from losing his mother at a young age. His family has kept a deep dark secret from him and he has yet to understand why he has these reoccurring dreams that make absolute no sense. Yoon Ji-Won stands to be the only person whom he feels a sense of belonging from, and before you know it, the missing memories of his childhood becomes the mystery that brings them together, and perhaps, eventually as lovers ( I dont know yet what happens because I am only on Episode 8 of 16). I am captivated by the mystery that ensues and the entanglement that each episode explores deeper for Jin Isoo, because they all tie into the soon to come awakening of how his mother had passed and what really happened that night. I love the unfolding of each event whilst getting a new murder mystery in each episode. This is great series and deserves great marks all the way around just because it does what it set out to do - entertain. I did not go into it looking for real life drama, real experiences, actual and true events. I just wanted a movie to take me somewhere. And it did. This is why I can truthfully give it a 10. For me, I got what I came for and that's all that matters. I want the unbelievable stuff, the nonsense that makes me roll my eyes and wish if only, the lifestyle I cannot afford to live but love to see others in it, the humor that I wish I had with my teammates, the uninterrupted day to day murder mystery that unfolds right in front of me because I dont want that in my real life. If a movie, series, producer, director, cast and crew have given me that, then by golly thats what its supposed to be rated on. Pure Entertainment!

Change is not always good
22 September 2023
I really miss Nicola Walker, she was marvelously as the guv... do not like Sinead Keenan. Especially alongside Sanjeev, who is brilliant. But the chemistry is off and she gives a real Karen and Daren vibe. She rolls her eyes a lot, and just seems truly annoyed with her role. I hope they find someone else next season. Just feels so different and all over the place this season. No substance with the cast. I stopped watching after the 2nd episode because I can't deal with Sinead's character and how she portrays the guv. The rest of the cast is great but they seem like they no longer have any cohesion anymore.

Back in the day...
11 April 2023
Growing up, I had always loved Monique, because back in the day she was hella funny, always on point with the truth and proud. She looks great, sounds the same vocally - but the profanity was way too much. The humor that was supposed to project from her lines, really didn't happen. Sometimes, I wasn't sure where the punchlines were going because she caught a case of bad set ups. It was like a showcase for how many cuss words she could spit in one special.

Although it was not her best day of comedy, I gotta say I still love her just as much as I did back then. Perhaps a talk show would be better for her, or a late night show with a sprinkle of that Monique humor she used to have. I am sure there is a serious side to her life which is really something I would love to sit and listen to her talk about.

Warm and Fuzzy Christmas Tale
5 December 2022
I absolutely loved this film. I am going to watch this over and over for years to come. It was beautifully made and all the roles were played wonderfully! It has enough warmth, excitement, romance and adventure for a great family movie night! And a totally believable caper too...it made me miss my grand babies, my kids and my parents, all of whom I don't have nearby to see, so this movie was heartfelt for me. The set was also really great and I love how rustic and small town vibes were portrayed. All the kids were great in their roles, especially Violet Mgraw, Lauren Lindsey and Leonardo Cecchi. Then seeing Chris Sanders go from goofball in LMS sitcom to a drama role, he was brilliant. What can you say about Eddie Ciberian, he's lovely, just wish he had more screen time. But I get it, the stars of the film were the kids no they were awesome!!!

Beautifully crafty!
16 October 2022
Halloween has always been one of my favorite times of the year, not just in the sense of ghosts and goblins. But for the sheer love and spirit of Halloween fun - costumes and decorations, candy, candles and cobwebs...this movie has it all. Well done by Marlon Wayans, Rob Riggle, Laura Lapkus and John Michael Higgins, I thought they were outstanding in their roles, great comedy. Kelly Rowland was Fabulous and I hope she makes it to the screen more often...I think the young cast were brilliant and they kept me engaged throughout the movie. I even felt the anxiety of the clowns (who doesn't get a bit creeped out with clowns), but I respect that this movie didn't have the gore and blood that would have made it distasteful for me to watch comfortably. I didn't want this movie to be that, so my expectations were delightfully achieved. Even though there are a lot of low scoring reviews, I had to formulate my own opinion of the ambiance I experienced. I'm truthfully happy how this movie started and progressed & ended, it is a great FAMILY movie. I can watch this movie over and over, throughout the year. I would even play this movie in the background while I'm working just to keep my mind in the warm and fuzzy zone!

Brilliant and Meaningful
15 September 2022
Just so obsessed with this series. Not only do I love the whole experience that I feel like I am sharing with them and the whole world, what they are doing for this club, the community and the country is wonderful. I can't get enough of Ryan and Rob. I want to now visit Wales and I am going to get some of that merch! I look forward to seeing each episode and my husband and I enjoy the night laughing our butts off and learning about Wales. I feel so attached to the community and all their ups and downs just resonates with what I need to experience at home. I am cheering on for Wrexham and hope every step is a step closer to getting into the Premier League. I love a good underdog story any day of the week!

Thor, yep that's my kind of superhero!
10 September 2022
Probably the most entertained I've been with any of the Marvel movies. Everything worked for me, each character, even the villain, was super in their own role. Christian Bale was brilliant and wowzers for Natalie Portman! But man, Chris Hemsworth is so dope, I hope he nevers leave the Thor Universe while I'm alive to watch it...we'll done to the King too! The comedic direction was 100 percent better than it has been for any of the marvel movies in my opinion, and Chris Hemsworth just hammers it with every line. It doesn't always have to be smashing, lasers and cgi to have substance so I enjoyed all the laughs.

Complete and Utter Brilliance
26 July 2022
I am so happy I stumbled on this series. It's superbly written and the actors, every single one in every episode are amazing. I blushed , I cried, I was anxious, I bursted out in laughter and even did fist pumps for every win. This series gave it all and I felt it all. I'm on edge waiting for the new episodes! Love it, can't wait for more :)

Deliciously Beautful
31 January 2022
I absolutely love this series, and being narrated and hosted by Stanley Tucci is even more wonderful than anything I've ever watched in this genre of real local cuisine. He has a graceful persona that just captivates the story of the food as if you are experiencing the flavors, freshness and textures with him. The scenery is always beautiful and the stories of the people just warms my soul. I hope he continues his travels and shares these amazing experiences for those who can't visit Italy. I am definitely searching for these recipes to try at home!

Love, hate, love it
29 January 2022
Love the series so far (first 3 episodes down)! It's everything I thought it would be based on the previews, and I am enjoying it! I prepared myself mentally that it would be a little cheesy, theatrics with a dash of huh??? And down right silly who dun it investigative antics by Haddish and was not the least bit disappointed. Sometimes I just have to set my expectations at zero and let myself build up to it to really enjoy a film. I'm a fan!!!

Wow Kristen Bell, WOW!!!
28 January 2022
Double-Double High Five to you Kristen Bell. Loved every episode and I was on the edge of my seat binging all 8 episodes. Couldn't stop until I got to the end...plot holes, unrealistic outcomes, mind boggling twists and turns that didn't really add up - yes, not perfect but the whole ambiance of the series was great for me. The uncertainty of the characters' demeanors, the score and dark scenes made it intriguing enough without rolling my eyes or forwarding past bloody gore. It was just enough to keep me in suspense the whole time. I still don't really believe I know myself who the real murderer was or if Kristen herself is still succumbed to paranoia and delusion and she imagined the whole 8 episodes up to the last second! Lol, I don't know, but I am excited to see the next season.

Warm & Fuzzy
24 January 2022
This was a beautiful movie, quite honestly. I was in tears several times, laughing and just so engrossed in this uncle and niece relationship coming together. Yes it has its cliche moments, but the perspective of how a child really can change your life in many different ways was beautifully portrayed and I couldn't pull away from the movie regardless of how predictable it was. Just wonderful acting and beautiful music!

Warm and Fuzzy
20 January 2022
So for this genre, I love the modern vibe and the brutally sweet persona's of each character. So what if it's got some cheese in some of the scenes, the actors bring so much giddiness to story. I absolutely love the acting from Isabella, Lola and Esme - they had me tickled every time they spoke. Sometimes you just need a subtle, fairytale romance like this to give you the warm and fuzzy. Truly loved it!

Fine time for a murder mystery!
1 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Absolutely love, love, love this series. I'm not concerned about the low ratings, because I've been huge fans of Martin Short and Steve Martin since I was a young gal. Then you add Selena to the mix - come on now, that's beautiful and crazy writing! I love that it's off the rails with pasty comedy and the mystery of murder lingering in the building.

Truthfully, I found it a wee bit chalky at first and was not sure I could stay interested in the first 20 mins of episode one, but as I started to focus on the pings of how things were unraveling and the humor (like slap stick fused with raw and salty lines), I was suddenly hooked on getting to know more of whodunnit and what will unfold in the next episode. By the end of Season One I was a fan. I waited and waited for Season Two to be released because I was ready for the next mystery. I had read a lot of reviews after S2E1; and many did not care for Amy Schumer being casted, which initially, I was not impressed. But I spent the next two months "playing" S1 & S2 on my iPad (just listening but not watching), while working because I love the ambiance of a Murder Mystery while it was getting cold outside. An each time, Amy's character and cameo was insanely one of my favorite parts of S2. I started mimicking her lines and voice as I listened it made me smile each time. So excited for S3 and I am definitely 100% OMITB Fan!!!

What the???
2 August 2021
Oh my goodies, this movie was so dope. I have not been a big fan of Van Damme for many years, but you could not ask for a better action comeback from this veteran. It was funny, action packed, and all the actors were sensational. Sure it's a bit cheesy and untoward at times, but it was still great from start to finish. Loved it and I hope there is a sequel!

Fabulous and Gritty, just the way I like it!
27 April 2021
I love this show, it's absolutely brilliant. Brenda will always be Vera to me, but she has truly lit up my tele nights with this sitcom. I love the situationship banter and especially enjoy the bond with Koji and Medium characters. Can't wait for another season!

Charming Movie for the most part!
17 March 2021
It honestly was a very warming movie. All the actors were great except for the smash character. She was not a very likable character, just wished it was played by someone less abrasive. It's still, a good watch for the family. Absolutely LOVE Matthew Goode, he is a brilliant actor.

I got the warm and fuzzy!
16 August 2020
Great series. I felt "at home" with Selena. It resonates with me and how I am in my kitchen most times, just wanting to try new things. Selena is amazing and she makes it so much fun to watch and actually learn things that don't feel so overwhelming.

I've been trying a couple of the dishes and who knew it would be so easy and fun. I need more Selena in the kitchen!
