Underrated Movie (free on YouTube)
24 May 2020
I rarely watch a movie twice, but I have seen this many times. I fell in love with Michael Parks. This film is so moving and I love the slow character development. Yes, Ms. Kaye's acting is a bit stiff, but I think as the movie goes along, you begin to feel her fall in love with him. It was for me, a movie that I hated to end. This movie can be found now on YouTube for free. Enjoy.

The acting is appalling!

I rarely write reviews, but I had to put one here. I don't even know how this garbage ever got made. This unknown looks nothing like Frank nor does this girl favor Ava Gardner. The acting is so stiff, it's as if they are just reading the script verbatim with no feeling at all. I watched 15 minutes of this and I had to turn it off. No way I was going to waste any time or my life with this trash. You would do better to watch a cartoon.

Good kids these are not

Entitled people who have raised their children to think they are better than everyone else are faced with the results. Terrible movie that jumps all over the place. Good acting cannot save this mess. Waste of celluloid.

Totally Surprised!
3 December 2018
I just happened upon this show and so happy that I did. I have always been a Michael Douglas fan, The American President. If you have seen Wait Until Dark with Audrey Hepburn, you have seen the versatility of Alan Arkin. Both are consummate actors that have honed their craft for decades. This is definitely a series for us Baby Boomers. While I have no problem watching shows with younger, up and coming actors, it is a welcome surprise to see a show about us older folks. There is not much on television today that honestly speaks to the issues surrounding aging. Thanks Netflix and please renew for a second season and up the episodes to at least 10😎.
