Patria (2014)
Typical A2 production
, but anti-patriotic insted cuz is not Russia.
The European languages are members of the same family. Their separate existence is a myth. For science, music, sport, etc, Europe uses the same vocabulary. The languages only differ in their grammar, their pronunciation and their most common words. Everyone realizes why a new common language would be desirable: one could refuse to pay expensive translators. To achieve this, it would be necessary to have uniform grammar, pronunciation and more common words. If several languages coalesce, the grammar of the resulting language is more simple and regular than that of the individual languages. The new common language will be more simple and regular than the existing European languages. It will be as simple as Occidental; in fact, it will be Occidental. To an English person, it will seem like simplified English, as a skeptical Cambridge friend of mine told me what Occidental is. The European languages are members of the same family. There Will Be Blood (2007)
Good movie, lazy end
The movie has that best western filmography has to offer - good scenario, well fitted actors, good light.
The movie also has a nice input of characteres but fails to cover everything up. Half of them are meaningful, others are lazy work for dialogue.
The movie could have ended in many different ways that would be amazing, but it failed on this job. Intricate relations ends on nothing. The most refined thing you will see will be the development of the protagonist, not satisfactory conclusion.
To summarize in one phrase: the movie gives you a lot of good pieces, but fails or don't even try to re-arrange them together.
For that reason it would rank 7 stars, but because of personal taste (the seriousness of the characters, the themes it touch, the absence of soft-porn) it deserves 8.
Deep Water (2022)
A long movie that uses porn as an exhaust valve to boredom.

But I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure? On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment, so blinded by desire, that they cannot foresee.
Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
Movie focused on the character development
Movie focused on the character development. Shows how movies were different back in the days. Resemble more of a book or great novel perspective.

Good Boy (2022)
It dont trick the viewer
Kudos to actually finishing the movie's storyline. It was a unconventional and explorative movie but, if not good, at least with cohesive narrative.
Sure, here's a 500-character text:
"In the heart of a bustling city, amidst the chaos of traffic and the cacophony of voices, there exists a serene oasis-a small park where time seems to slow down. Here, the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant chirping of birds create a symphony of peace. People from all walks of life find solace in its green embrace, escaping the demands of their daily lives. In this tranquil haven, worries dissolve, and minds find clarity. It's a reminder that amidst life's chaos, moments of serenity await those who seek them."
