Dragon Ball Super: Doragon bôru cho: Burakku no shôtai o abake! Iza dai 10 uchû no Kaiôshin-kai e! (2016)
Great episode
Zamasu is a very interesting character.
I like his character build up and the way he looks down upon mortals and is so surprised and wonders what a mortal is doing in the sacred world of the Kais.
And if that wasn't enough, he gets beaten by the mortal too.
I Love the character growth of Zamasu and the fact that it gets really kick started for serious after being defeated so easily by a mortal. (Goku)
I love that he and his Supreme Kai were surprised by a mortal being that strong and accompanying gods.
It reminded me of the start of Majin Buu saga in DBZ where Supreme Kai and Kibito are shocked at the fact the mortals on earth like Gohan, Vegeta and Goku are far stronger than them.
Dragon Ball Super: Doragon bôru cho: Shitei Saikai Son Gohan to "Mirai" Torankusu (2016)
No action doesn't mean bad...
I hate when people give extremely low reviews just because there is no action.
In this episode we get to see traumatized Trunks save himself by going to the past once more, but this time he can't go back just yet because his time machine needs fixing, so he gets to hang out and experience the peaceful timeline and even interact with adult Gohan.
Dragon Ball Super: Doragon bôru cho: Gokû VS Burakku! Tozasareta mirai e no michi (2016)
Why is Trunk's hair blue?
Everyone is asking the same thing. There is so much confusion and rumors and even after years I don't think there has been an official explanation.
It's supposed to be the same Trunks from DBZ, not from another timeline. Also he wasn't even blue haired in the manga. His kid counterpart's hair is still purple. Now it's blue too, im the SuperHero movie where he's grown up he now has blue hair too.
What is going on?
That's not the only thing that has changed colors though. Fat buu's kamehameha in a later saga is now yellow instead of pink.
Some people in the production are probably color blind.
Dragon Ball Super: Doragon bôru cho: Mirai kara no SOS! Kuroki aratana teki arawaru!! (2016)
A few issues.
Great start to a dark and intense new journey saga.
Could have been even better though.
Future Trunks and his Time Traveling saga in DBZ was mind blowing. I'm so glad he returned.
One issue that I have is that even though they show the struggles of Future Trunks, the way the portray the villain's actions was not that dramatic and detailed like it used to be in the old Dragon Ball shows.
They made you really hate the villain by showing you in detail exactly how he kills people. It looked censored and not graphic enough for a villain like that.
Another issue in the later episodes is that when they fight this particular villain, everyone seems to be nerfed. The fights look like fights from the old dragon ball or the start of DBZ at best. They are not intense at all. The Ki blasts barely damage the environment. Even the blasts that the Villain shoots, which are supposed to be destructive. Fights are not that flashy at all.
The story and plot is perfect, It's just the execution that could have been better.
Dragon Ball Super: Doragon bôru cho: Saiya-jin no hokori o wasureru na! Bejîta VS dai 6 ushû no Saiya-jin (2016)
Respect for the creators not being TOO soft.
I appreciate the fact that they haven't completely turned Dragon Ball into a cartoon style kids comedy show.
They went all out with the way Vegeta interacted with Cabba, telling him pretty intense things like, that he will murder his whole family and stuff like that.
I figured out what he was actually trying to do, but I still enjoyed him being an old school ruthless savage again.
Dragon Ball Super: Doragon bôru cho: Arawareta nazo no bijo! Tenshin-ryû dôjô no kai!? (2017)
One of the best episodes in Dragon Ball Super
They made Tien Shinhan have his own dojo and teaching students martial arts. Also of course Tien Shinhan never gave up training. He is not like Krilin or Yamcha. Martial Arts are his way of life. He is a Shaolin monk. They handled the character perfectly, that's exactly what he would have done.
Also classic Master Roshi doing his naughty things as always.
It was cool to also see him fight once more.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Consider it a nice romance story sci-fi action movie.
I disagree with the rest of the reviews and I'm glad they made the movie. Maybe they don't realize that the Matrix rebooted in the end of the trilogy, so this one is a little different. The style of the movie has also changed a little.
There's new, more modern fashion style which was nice.
I liked the part in the development studio with the almost 4th wall kinda jokes.
Also loved the part where Trinity has to choose if she wants to stay with her family or leave with Neo.
Music was good, action was good, and Keanu and Carrie were amazing.
I think people are overdoing with the reviews. I get it that some may have been disappointed but giving the movie a rating below 4 is over exaggerating.
Also it's true that there were a few parts that were a little cheesy/cringy.
Also the first part of the movie with Bugs before Neo shows up, was a little weird.
Overall I loved the movie and was satisfied with the ending.
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
The Avengers 3: Civil War
It's basically the Avengers 3 but directed by the Russo brothers that did Cap 2: The Winter Soldier. I guess that's why it's called Captain America instead of avengers. Anyway the movie was the best Marvel movie I had watched at the time in 2016,
(I saw it at the cinema when it came out). It's made by the Russo brothers so basically anything Russo bros + Marvel is just amazing. The action and direction was very good. The addition of Spider-Man also very good. I couldn't wait to see Black Panther in live action and I wasn't disappointed at all. He was really cool. But I got a little disappointed by his own movie, it was full of bad cgi.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
A GIFT TO YOUR SPIDERMAN FAN CHILDHOOD
That guy Willem Dafoe is really into his character.
It's like he was born to play that character. I dare say he was better here than the original movie.
WARNING!!!!!
Spoiler below:
It was really cool that Daredevil made a cameo but that was just about it. A cameo. Why? Missed opportunity. If it was me i would have put at least one scene were Daredevil shows up in his suit and helps Spider-Man.
Also i loved the Raimi movie memes like:
Norman saying he is something of a scientist himself.
Or the one where $&##;@ stretches and talks about his back.
Also the way spiderman showed up when ned opened the portal and they were saying peter peter. That was a nice surprise.
Also I really hope they make another Tom Holland movie with venom finding a new Eddie Brock or the same but from Hollands universe? Since a part of Venom stayed in Hollands universe.
ALSO this is the perfect opportunity for to make up and give us the sequel we never got.
Since Raimi is now working with Marvel again after Doctor Strange they can let him make his Spider-Man 4 since Tobey Maguire is also back. Just Do It. The movie will start with Tobey going back stabbed and telling MJ what crazy thing he just experienced.
Can't wait.
