The Razor's Edge (1984)
My kids liked it better than the 1946 version
Murray and Power both showed wit in the role of Larry Darrell. The critics that panned Murrays version were too narrow mined and anchor in the old style Hollywood. I have seen both Movies and read the book too.
Young Sheldon: A Clogged Pore, a Little Spanish and the Future (2022)
Stupidly
Stopped watching this. Too much selfishness. Too much self adoration too much stupidity too much garbage. Trash, lousy, idiotic superficial cause to vomit.
The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008)
EMP the world in The end made sense
The ending. When everything man made was shutdown makes sense. By causing the population of the human race to shrink with a mass electrical magnetic pulse that basically resets the human race back to the 16th century. Now an estimated 70 percent of the population will perish instead of 100% of the population.
Outer Range: The West (2022)
Acting Sheriff and Tillersons
Greedy these people are. Acting sheriff wants to nail the Abotts so bad she violated too many of their rights under the law. Autumn is truly out of sync with the time she is stuck in. The tillersons mama psycho and the psycho middle son bought need Lobotomies.
L'amica geniale: Ancora tu (2022)
The Authenticity
Authenticity of the clothes, vehicles, even the Tableware is amazing. Lena is a real woman, the kind I met in Italy back then. Who look so sensuous, and flirty. I met a school teacher who taught English in Naples. Her father was a shipyard worker who I became friends with I ended up spending weekends at their place. For an American sailor my Italian became pretty good.
L'amica geniale (2018)
Beautifully done.
I spent part of the 70's in Naples. The cars, sounds, ferries to the islands. The homes, women, men who reminded me of my 3rd cousin who was from Reggio an Uncle who taught at Florence before immigrating to America in the 50's. I loved every episode.
The Crown: Dear Mrs. Kennedy (2017)
The Dance
The dance with President Nkrumah was precious. The Queen was fabulous Claire Foy show her mettle and will always be remembered for her role as The Queen.
The Crown: Matrimonium (2017)
Snobby Tommy
At times in this series I wish Tommy would have tripped down the stairs. The mustaches as Philip refer to the snobs. Made the Queen look like a Marinette.
