all the powers in the earth can not change what is written on the book!!
4 January 2008
i have just seen the movie and i was fascinated by the outstanding performances of Will Ferrell(as mechanical guy),Emma Thompson(as depressive writer) and most importantly Maggie Gyllenhaal(as cookie girl) since her arms full of tattoo and anarchist expressions besides charming attitudes effected me deeply.precisely the success of the movie underlies the way of telling the tragedy and comedy of the mechanic guy integrated.the irony of the movie basically originated from the cliché idea of living a fiction character and decorate this cliché idea with unexpectedly prosperous details and outstanding performances and making a excellent.and this irony forced me to write comment on the movie.and i want to give an advise the one who hasn't seen the movie yet.first cook some cookies and then enjoy the movie with cookies

the movie which deserves more than 6.3 vote average

the basic topic of this movie is love and faithfulness.the movie and it's tough background basically comes from ^aleksandr sergeyevic puskin^'s book namely 'yevgeni onegin '.there are lot of vital stages on the film.the beginning of love and the fact that being felt in love to some one has described realistically.there are some minor details that gives the path to create impressive movie as this one.one of that detail is the owner of a latter is the one who is obtained not the one writes.perhaps this sounds meaningless at first glance but this if you go into the details,it would become touching. at the further steps of the movie becomes a combat between 'Ralph Fiennes' and 'Liv Tyler'in terms of acting but there is no loser in this fight both of them are victorious.i suggest this film to everyone don't let the low vote average prevent you to watch it.

fear that becomes a disaster

the movie and it's consistency with, the reality of such kind of religion originated community, is marvelous since you feel familiar most of the stages with the man you recognize which is rigidly religious. It is rare and very difficult to create such kind of complicated film especially for a director which had directed only moderate TV series in Turkey. He surpassed the expectation thanks to his talent and observation.Besides director, the casting and performance of the actors is impressive since they really overcame the difficulty of the performing the characters who are rare in community and which differs from society by small details. The way pilot flows is satisfactory but on the other hand, the simplicity of some parts of the movie, especially in final minutes, does not meet the expectation of the audience which expects the ultimate end.The issue director criticize is imagined untouchable for the conservative parts of society.according to me we should congratulate the courageous and objective view of director.it is a good film for whom are open minded and opposing.
