Just put it on to have something to watch and became surprisingly invested. It had a story that was easy to follow and tied in well with Angelina's character better than I thought it would. The assassins were definitely giving a "I can't believe that did that" scenes. Totally brutal. The only thing I was really disappointed with was what felt like an incomplete ending and an explanation as to what the dad knew that he died for. Other than that, I don't regret putting it on for our Saturday night movie. It was suspenseful, good amount of action, and easy to follow storyline. Not a repeat watch though.

First, Florence, AL is in the middle of the city not the woods. They drove through the city to the Academy Sports parking lot.... Still city. The fact they added the tanning bed to the whole thing just for giggles... Well that was hilarious. You'd have to hear the former employee's interview about her to understand the joke. She was not a victim and they make Casey too smart and too attractive for that role. He is more of an oversized Elmer Fudd fellow. Word for word, the whole movie was EXACTLY what the news reports all told. Basically, they compiled the reports for the script. And lastly, the sheriff of Lauderdale County is an old white Boss Hogg looking man....and yet here we have replaced him with not an old white Boss Hogg looking man... Many, many inaccuracies. It makes my home area look like a train wreck.

Rob Zombie tried too hard and ruined what could have been a great reboot. He tried to keep the light and fun humor, but it only goes so far. The story of when Lily and Herman were dating could have been great, but it was poorly written and doesn't even follow with the original... AT ALL. For Zombie to be such a super fan, this was a super let down. The low film budget was painfully obvious throughout..... The count was almost spot on and his wife's portrayal of Lily are almost spot on.... But Herman is seriously lacking. For myself, I grew up in the 1960s version and this was an absolute bust.
