WarBirds Is a Fun War Film, An underatted action Hit

This has a criminally low score, I mean c'mon 3.2? It's nowhere near that sort of level of bad. Even a 3 is too harsh, and a Rotten Tomatoes score of 16 is Wild. This film was fun, had some good moments with our Characters and was entertaining. The Movie did have It's downs though, most noticeably the CGI effects when they are trying to get away from the Birds, but all-in-all fairly decent. This is NOT worse then Horrid Henry the movie, or on par with the Emoji Movie.

Skipper-She's the Pilot of the crew, and I love her confidence and determination to kill the Birds. As unfortunately for them, they were stuck in a massive storm, and leaking out fuel. They then found an Island where they were ultimately stuck on. Skipper is a great leader, and even challenges the Man who's in charge of the soldiers, it shows she's keen to do the right thing, and make ends meat when needed. She gives others a chance. And she was a well developed character throughout the film, her personal growth was great.

I found the CGI when they were crash landing very computer style animation, and it did not look good. Although some of the effects of the Island are very nice to look at. However, the effects did need a few tweeks here and there which would of made the film slightly better. And the squares that show up when something doesn't connect well, also was inside the film. Which fultered the realism of when they were flying and when they were in the air.

Most of the time the tension was on point, the film was very fast paced but the less important stuff took a shorter amount of time, and this can be a good and bad thing. The good is that the characters have some great dialogue together whilst flying up in the air , and the uniform is perfect for the realism. The bad is that the other characters didn't really get a proper send off when they died, whereas whew the confidence of the younger lady takes control of a bad situation, her confidence gets the better of her. A more rash side to a younger person. But she has a nice goodbye with a funeral, which was perfectly acted, directed and even shot.

The Rivalry between the Chinese people and the American people also carried alot of tension. They held lots of Guns which showcased both there violent nature and even aggressive behaviour. And they do help each other out, or try to. I wish the Chinese would of been better prepared as they seemed to be stuck in wooded up area alot. And it did sort of ruin the rivalry at times as there were no stakes. And the rivalry we did get was displayed well here.

The Terror bird creatures were really fast, and they were very Vicious which made them very scary and very deadly. This movie carried a threat to it with these birds, as they were mostly very very angry. And they killed alot of the Americans, who were all in Red lipstick and had lots of make up, it didn't reflect on the environment they were in, but the Birds kept the tension up. And Skipper did look well trained for following orders and did seem experienced in her role. Regardless of how she and the other girls were presented.

The Length of the film wasn't bad either, it could of been longer, and the rivalry could of been more stretched out. But overall the length of the film reflects well on the pacing and even the overall story itself. It works as it doesn't drag on, and the film doesn't need to. It was well paced, it was good fun, and the tension was up the whole time. The risk factor was so high and good in this film, the Birds were presented as relentless and evil. But the humans manged to strike them down. And the war was also ended near the end. Talking about an ending, this is where I now end my review.

Would I recommend this Film?,

War, Camera,action, yes I would. NOT a bad Effort!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)

The End of a Saga, The End of It all

A great film, I love the Harry Potter films, all sparking there own magic and telling fantastic stories. Some are Travel Hp 5 and 7 Respectfuly and the others containing a sense of magic, and family dynamics, Hp 1 and 2. And Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire having action as it's main aim, Hp 6 being Dramatic and dark. But the increadible arc ends when we are hit with the 8th Installment of the franchise, that embarks on a greater adventure like no other. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Ends the run of films well.

Neville Longbottom was always the most awkward one out of the friend group, and he was always embarrassed on a weekly basis. However, that all changes in this film. He's tougher and certainly more braver. This is perfect growth as he was always the shell, now he's finally concured any on going fears, and decides to help the gang defeat the one we do not speak his name. It's great to see him taking on a fierce roll, it shows he's changed as a character. And that's sometimes Vital.

I love the scenes when Harry Is talking to Dumbledore and the importance of Dumbledore throughout the series. As he was such a key character in the franchise so even though he had previously passed away, I like seeing him again, and being the guidance for Harry, Much like in the Chamber of Secrets. It works here too, because we know what Dumbledore means to Harry, Goblet of Fire didn't quite get that right, but we atleast got to see the importance of him, and why he was a key figure in the series as a whole.

It feels like a true Finale as well, as everyone gets to join in on the madness, and even destroy the villains themselves. It highlights the importance of each character and why they are in this film in particular, Like Ron's, Ginnys, Fred and George's mum is annoyed with Bellatrix is nasty comment towards her own daughter, so she becomes strong and fierce and kills her. It's a great way of showing emotion and the characters importance to the series as a whole. Which is a great build up to what was happening before, Characters having more things to do, getting more involved in the plot, it works here.

I like the fact that Ginny and Harry had kids, much like Ron and Hermione. They had kids, and at the end of the story they got shiped of to Hogwarts, as well as there parents who had gone previously. It's a great way to end on a cliffhanger and add a bit of mystery to the mix, it gells well with ending the franchise, and even starting a new legacy. And Part 8 does a fantastic job of this. The only real thing, was Harry and Ginnys relationship. As it was rather under-developed, with that said a great way to end the franchise. It went out on a high, a Finale done right.

Would I recommend this film?,

Yes, Fantastic. Especially if your a Potterhead, you'll love it!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010)

Part 1 is Exhilarating, Thrilling and has good emotional depth

The 3 Key points to make a decent to good film is shown in it's description, at the top. It's what makes this movie gell, yeah sure not everything works but it's still a good film that tackles many things. Arguments, action and even a sad scene. The Movie is very intense, and will get to that, but honestly the siries is very good, mostly having an average of 7 for me. Which is a good score for a film, I think the Movie is better then Chamber of Secrets (score of 5) and Half Blood-prince (score of 6). So it's better then those too in my opinion. And although this movie is meant to be filler, granted it does work quite well.

The Wedding of Harry's and Ginny's seems to be coming together well, theirs some nice scenes with each of the characters here and the writing team seems to have done a good job. Then the movie starts to get more intense and becomes a thrill-ride to watch. When Bellatrix turns up and tries to ruin things, this chase scene is well shot, well executed and fantastically choreographed, with plenty of thrilling moments here it seems to be quite exciting. Especially when are characters move from one place to another, and being on high alert for any danger. They are completely unsafe, they even go in an ordinary café and that turns out to go badly. But with the cleverness of Hermione they are able to get out of the situation safely, and more importantly alive.

The Camping scene doesn't feel like it fits in with Harry Potter, but for understandable reasons the group needs somewhere to hide. Ron and Harry have a falling out and this creates some tension between the two characters, but they quickly resolve their issues and are focused on nothing else but the Horcruxes. Which they are chased by in the woods, it seems to have very high stakes and risks in this film, and for the most part it works really well. It's very intense and shows how exhilarating this movie can be, with some close calls happening between some of the Characters.

However, what isn't a close call is Dobbie's death. Which is really well directed and performed by the guy who plays Dobbie. Sadly Bellatrix had killed him, just like she had killed Serious Black. And her cackle is nightmare fuel for anyone, disturbing and almost as if to say it's a bit creepy in away. This has some great moments between the cast.

I feel like this should of been shorter or should of just been one part, but the film certainly works very well on it's own too feet. I didn't like the other goblin either, he seemed very rude and grumpy and for no rymal reason. He was only temporary which was good. But the Run Time for the movie isn't so bad, just some scenes feel dragged out and others feel like it's going too quick at times. There's a lack of cohesion inside this film in my opinion.

So, Would I recommend this film?

Yes, I'd recommend all of them, they all have their enjoyable moments, 6.5/10.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)

Half-Blood Prince is Half Baked

A decent film, again Harry Potter always seems to be a great franchise, I think the movies are mostly consistent, and judging by my overall thoughts and the ratings I've given the films, I think consistentency as a whole is a very big claim. But, Ultimately a true one. Only ONE film gets a 5, but a 5.5, this one gets a 6, the rest get a 7-7.5 Rating. So they are definitely consistent in my opinion. But Half Blood-Prince is my SECOND least favourite of the franchise. Not saying it's bad, but not one I revisit that much when choosing a Harry Potter film.

One glaring issue I have of the film is it's actual premise, some things seem to breeze past without an explanation, and it's the least Coherent (if you can really say that) in the franchise. Harry is eating Breakfast, then it cuts to a weird scene, a scene that's magical. And then it cuts to the train scene with Proffesor Dumbledore. But it happens rather quickly. He then visits an old friend of his with Harry, introducing a new character to us. This was a nice scene, and the moment didn't get rushed, it was perfectly paced.

The darker themes didn't fit with the overall film, it was a bit too dark with the franchise, and the tonal shift that was gradually building, seemed to of taken it's toll. As the Effects are miserable, right from the opening scene it's hard to know what's really about to go down, like it's a sort of grey Misty effect. And the colour palet is just not the right fit, some scenes are TOO dark. Like, over-the-top dark. But It may of been nice, as it does fit with the story, just the effects aren't up to par with the elements and therefore isn't able to use it effectively, not enough anyway.

But, there are some good. I like how Malfoy has to make a consecutive decision about what happens to Professor Dumbledore, and what might happen next. It's really high on emotion and is a very sad scene, especially as Harry's in the room. That was quite Morbid. However, Draco doesn't want to kill Dumbledore. And the scenes with Harry and Snape were great throughout, it really added depth to Harry's parents and what they we're like as people.

The main Duo are very good in this, Harry especially as he's tackled with his dark past and has to see Dumbledores death play out, which is a very emotional scene that was beautifully played out by the actors. It was a very good scene in the film, and that whole act had some great moments, overall a fantastic scene. In a decent movie.

So Would I recommend this film?

Yes, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has it's worthwhile moments, even if the effects are a bit of a LETDOWN, 6/10 Not Bad!

Prey (2024)

Some great moments, in a Poor Film

I wasn't expecting much, the film is called Prey. But, it was slightly disappointing. Like, the opening scene was really good, and started out interestingly, but as the movie progressed, it got worse and worse. It was slightly amusing, the characters choices, and actions to things. And it sort of just felt abit off, like it had potential, but never set foot, much like the plane. So Let's talk about Prey.

The First 10 Minutes was very good, we get to see some nice landscapes, and even a death. And the crash landing of the plane, in such a futile area was great to see. The film wasn't afraid to have stakes, in the land of the Nara, takes the land of the innocents. Where Lions, Hyeenas lurk, there burial ground for Prey. And it looked as if this movie was going to take off, it didn't. Unfortunately, I was hoping the movie was going to be great, because the first 10 Minutes is warranted a 7.5-8 just because of how Entertaining it is, and how interesting it is. Unfortunately the next parts let the film down massively.

Like the Characters are so poorly written, and mostly one dimensional. And they make poor and questionable decisions throughout that leaves alot to be desired. Like, Instead of moving on, the couple decide to stay, and even after knowing there lives are at risk. And they could potentially get killed, an Injured leg for the wife, but they offered to carry her. So giving up and just staying where the Plane had crash landed isn't the wisest of choices. She is Unfortunately eaten by the Lion, which was to be expected. The others do the right thing and try and get out, before they are eaten alive. That doesn't quite work out for them, but trying to escape is better then being sat behind, near a preserve that consists of the deadliest things. In Nature, with no armed weapons to protect themselves, nothing but vulnerability.

Another silly decision the gang makes is having someone stand outside, only because the aircraft doesn't have enough space for the Four of them. But, when your lives are at risk, surely you'd protect each other, and not have another one keep guard and get eaten by a viscous Lion. Luckily they didn't stumble across Cheetas either!, as our group would of been eaten in seconds, with very questionable decisions.

They are faced with another group, but this time of deadly assasins, a group, like a cult. They shoot one of the 3 members that remain alive, meaning to of them are faced with death, or questioning which still would lead to death. The too survivors catch the assasins of guard as both of them fall asleep, this means the gang have time to escape, they don't!...they try and get the Gun of one of the armed gang members, wild! But luckily they survive the attack and kill the 2 armed gang members who were left there by the others.

In the end, there's one surviver. Lots of Beutiful scenery, some cool wide shots, and some great scenes with the other animals, Like Giraffes and the Elaphants and even the Birds was great too see. The film didn't deliver on what it could of done though, but it's now time for the overall summary, although I think you know the outcome of it.

Would I recommend this Movie?,

Get drunk with Friends and laugh at the stupidity of this film, otherwise don't watch this. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. 3.5/10.

Scoop (2024)

Baste on a true story, It scoops it's way onto stage

I actually sore "The Night Agent" last year, showcasing are corrupt government, and in "Scoop" shows us what's really behind the scenes. "Sex Education" star in this, and the wonderful Billie Piper, who's in my personal favourite show. So it was nice to see a cast that I was fond of, not that it matters, it's just interesting to see them on here. And they all do a fantastic Job here.

Starting of, we get a zoomed in image of the government, taken by a photographer who seems keen to know what's going on. It really builds the tension early on, and I love how he's undercover. It's like he's searching for clues, and taking photographs to show to his wife played by (Billie Piper) who works at the BBC centre. It's as if they are going to write a story about what the Government are doing in the locations they are in. I do have to admire these scenes, because the actors act very formal, and secretive. Which is a very accurate depiction of the people in charge. And they even look around to see if anyone's there.

I like the realism of this story, the arguments come naturally. Everyone's daily life feels so real, and that's because it Is a true story. But, it just feels so natural. Walking to work and looking slightly too tired for it, it feels more relatable then anything. And the conversations between the BBC broadcasters are on-and-off. And I presume that we're to be the case, because Everyone's going to disagree on something. And the news it's very well put together. That's more of where the realism of the story takes place.

I would of liked to of seen more of the photographer, he wasn't in much, and in the first 5 minutes it seemed as if he was going to be a central part of the story, unfortunately he wasn't, but the moments we did get were very cool, the wideshots and the sun shining down on the water in the central park, that was beutiful. And as a character he did interest me.

The Interview was the best scene, and the constant questions being raised, will still be around in 5 years time, I have no doubts on that one. And it was perfect to see, especially as the Government is corrupt, as we know. So to see them being asked questions puts a further stans on things. The Interview is also very well done, it's scenary is also good, but it's realism strikes in these scenes. A very accurate depiction of how the Government acts and awnsers the specific questions, and how many questions the interviewer is willing to question.

Overall, a good film, I feel as If it should of been shorter, the middle felt a little dragged out. But I was interested and engaged in this True story, much of it comes from the realism and real life problems that we all suffer from, one way or another. And how we are able to deal with these situations, it's very broad and Scoop isn't afraid to go deep.

Would I recommend this Film?,

Yes, It's very interesting, 5.8/10.

The Inbetweeners (2008–2010)

Easy Going, Very intreging comedy!

The Inbetweeners show has always had a soficisticated charm surrounding it, its unapologetically British too. It thrives from awkward kids being put into awkward positions, most noticeably S2 Ep4 where they drive up to London. This show after all these years is still absolutely full of life and wonderful. It's an easy watch, it's very intreging. And I always enjoy watching it. So let's digest it, and see what's so good about it, in each specific season.

Season 1,

Season one is great, it kicks starts the boys adventures and wild rides through childhood/teenage years and shows them in school, struggling to fit in. What works here is the fact that it's so relatable, I remember my first time in Year 7, I was excited but nervous. And same with my College. So it relates in some way. The insults on Will and his constant comebacks never fails to amuse me, he's a clever nerd and is a goody two-shoes. Just like me. And he rearly swears. Simon had a crush, a long-lasting one, again we've all had one of those. And it continues throughout the siries and it does fit in with how close them both are, Family wise. Carly. Jay is the lier of the group and always tries to act cool, only to be more impressive then he actually is. Which is honestly Hillarious. Neil is a total idiot and doesn't understand sarcasm, but he seems to like girls, and more..., again somewhat relatable. I'd say the best episode is Thorpe Park. That was funny and it was well paced. They also had some great moments collectively. I wish Season 1 was funnier though.

Season 2,

My favourite part of Season 2 is the work experience the boys had to over come. And Season 2 is still relateable In that sense, the characters are put in even more embarrassing situations and even WORSE scenarios then before. It's the perfect siries. The best episode is definitely the London one. "BUS W*****S" is honestly so funny and the "ooh Friends" is also Hillarious. And probably Neil's most insane lines of dialogue ever. And Jay's, and that's saying something. And this is all throughout Season 2 which makes it even worse. Season 2 had mostly perfect paced episodes. Although I wish they weren't so restricted in length, I wish they were a bit longer, and the characters were slightly more developed. But the main protagonists are fun and interesting enough, and very relatable so you can reason with them.

Season 3,

The cast remain to have great growth together. They seem to understand each other. And this is the last season unfortunately for us. The Chemistry between the boys Is great and they make each episode better. The Camping trip is my favourite episode because there all together and pranking one another's relatives. And Simon struggling with the fact he has to move. Whilst, Carly is still around, and still his undenying crush. And this season is not only funny, but sad and hard felt especially when the boys only had this as there last season. But all 18 Episodes have charming characters, a likeable and relateable protagonist in Will, and awkward personas when involving girls with them. It was intreging and it didn't take my long to finish a full re-run of the show, yes guilty as sin!

So would I recommend The Inbetweeners?,

After all these years, yes. But be careful as there's a lot of vulgar scenes and swear words, 8/10.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)

A Fantastic Film, that delves more into the Wizardry Elements!

Harry Potter:And the Order of the Phoenix is a very good film. Unpopular opinion, this may be a HOT take, but it's the third best in the Siries. Behind numbers 3 and 8. The films length is also very good, it moves at a steady pace to keep you entertained, it sits at 2hrs and 18 Minutes as the run-time. The Film is more thematically rich in colour, the overall tone and effects. And overall it's fairly dark, but that doesn't change the quality of the film or decreases the quality. It's still fantastic.

I like the start, it's very dark and gloomy. You get a sense of how this films going to go. And it goes quite quickly, really quick. In the first 5 minutes we have a playground scene, and Harry and his brother running from something. It's a Dementor, and Harry actually has to figure out away on how to get rid of the problem, it has high stakes, and puts are character in a difficult situation. He chooses to use a spell to get rid of them. And it takes a toll for the worst, as Harry is then confronted by the wizardry of Magic. Stating your not allowed to use magic, outside of Hogwarts.

The Villain (Delores Umbridge),

Is little miss perfect, and for that reason alone makes her completely unlikeable. She's such an unlikeable character, and she's presented this way. This is a good thing, they do a very good job of it. She's in your face, she's rude and very bossy. She's even snitching on Harry when he's doing magic outside of Hogwarts, and makes up a fake story on how there wasn't any Dementors and there was no actual trouble. Which is absolutely insane, and remarkable as to how she can say that. And takes away all the love from the students, she separates them so she ruins not only Harry's life, but there's too.

The Wizardry,

They even go back in time which was cool, it had never been done in a Harry Potter film before. The story is all about how Harry leads them on to victory, in the final installment of the franchise. The 5th Film is Harry teaching them how to do spells. Ounce perfected they then do another trick that will then be used again, and it's all of them. They keep practicing before it all goes right. And although it may seem filler just before the Finale, but it works very well on it's own personal terms. And that means there's alot of personal growth for are characters here.

The Duels,

Are very exciting here, I was on the edge of my seat when I sore Lucius waving his wond and chasing the Gryffindor students about. And that death scene was so upsetting to see (no Spoilers). And the best-of-the-bunch is definitely Voldemorts and professor Dumbledores fight, it was Iconic. Lots of tricks being performed and it was just brilliant to watch them battle each other and out think one another. It was a nice change of pace and a breath of fresh air. Just like when they were flying away from the Dementors, that was very intense and interesting.

Would I recommend this film?,

I would Recommend this film to most, 7.5/10.

The Beekeeper (2024)

The Beekeeper Review

This film is far from spectacular, and going in I really didn't know what to expect. I knew that Statam would have a lot of fights, and with an 'R' rated property, it would go right in. And much like it's title, the movie passes on the 'average at best' quote. There were a tone of clever fight scenes, however the actual story is sub-par and rather under-developed. I think a 5 is probably generous, but it was watchable and it did Entertain me.

The concept of the Beekeeper is actually quite good, I like the fact he's just a normal guy that happens to look after Bees. And even has a Beehive, to hide out from any trouble, he causes the trouble himself, but he tries to hide himself from the bad guys. And Although he doesn't do a very good job of it, he is still able to find away out of a sticky situation, no pun intended. I like how simple the story is, this is good and bad. But, I wasn't expecting this to be Oscar worthy, and to just be entertaining, which it is. The easy to follow story is a nice change of pace and this means it can delve into the fight scenes a little more, and it does have a tone of fight scenes. And we immediately know who the bad guys are. And we know there intentions. However, the premise can be a little thread bare in terms of character development and an actual complex story, so it does have it's downsides.

The action is very good, as said it does get swiftly onto it. My personal favourite is the one at the Gas station, it ends abruptly but it uses some humour and some clever movement from Statam, that's very well choreographed. Much like most of the fight scenes, they start and end rather quickly, but you can really feel some of the hits the bad guys have to endure. Statam has to use some quick movement to get out of any situation, which can lead to some cool fight-scenes regarding lots of armed guys, and how he works himself out of it. And it was entertaining to see how he managed it.

The ending feels a little rushed, however I like how it has a Bee that comes into the picture frame and flies off, going in the same Direction as Statam. Honestly, I just wished the film kept up the brilliance of the ending. Even if slightly rushed, I wish the characters weren't making as much mind-numbingly dumb decisions. However, the film didn't disappoint. I had low expectations and it actually beat my expectations, unfortunately it just wasn't very good.

So, Would I recommend this film?

Yes, because it's an easy premise meaning it's easy to follow, and it does Entertain. So I give it a 5/10 Solid Film, no more no less.

Ricky Stanicky (2024)

Ricky Stanicky, The guy who wanted to change the world!

Ricky Stanicky has some very good actors, I Like Zac Efron, and he didn't disappoint. And also had John Cena, who I thought was excellent and really delivered. Probably, his best performance. The film wasn't quite up to par with the quality of the performances, it was quite predictable. However, I still found the film to be pretty funny.

Ricky Stanicky is a fake person, made up by 3 guys, 2 who have wifes, and the other who's gay. This becomes a bit of a theme later on, just like the group of friends who say "To Ricky Stanicky, the Guy who doesn't exist". I love how the 3 cause trouble but they blame it on someone else, heck, they even put a house on fire at the start.

The Relationships of the group is always on and off, because the couples eventually caught them out for lying. And that's one of the themes, there's a message here, it's better to tell the truth then to lie, sort of. As the 2 wife's seem to tell them, and this leads to some odd interactions, especially right near the end just before the Credits roll-up, which is quite funny.

Ricky, played by John Cena is the key ingredient to all the guys troubles. And as an actor, he plays the guy of Ricky. On the Sunday for a celebratory party they are having, to mark the 5th anniversary of Ricky's cancer virus, which had gone. And he is usually hated and a drug addict. Singing in restaurants and bars and getting paid little attention. But, he wants to change. And therefore, changes his name to Ricky.

Ricky helped out lots of people, all around the world, and Ricky wanted to actually prove he did it. So he goes and helps those who are in desperate need of help, and who wants some support. He is very honest and very kind to everybody and completely changes his ways, just like my title page suggests. And we see a few snippets of the people he's helped. And managed to create some kind of happiness.

I would say for me personally the film did drag a little threw the middle, but on the whole the pacing of the film is fairly reasonable, for the most part. And does add some good insights on Ricky before he became very popular and changed his ways. It's a very good contrast that this film had. Also the sets were very beutiful throughout the film, very layered and detailed and that definitely added to the story.

Would I recommend this film?,

Yes, but don't watch it if you don't like Vulgar scenes.

Doctor Who: The Family of Blood (2007)

Doctor Who at it's peak.

Some of the best writing in this entire show. I love the set designs and different photographic shots and imagery, which are perfect and very creative in many ways. I love the story and how it enhances the Doctor to make decisions he doesn't want to do, or simply finds difficult, the episode makes the Doctor think about his decisions. It's a fantastic way to bring out the best of our Doctor. Not to mention, the villain which are fantasticly creepy and disturbing, they ooze the creepiness factor and bring an eerie vibe to them.

I love how the Doctor has to tackle the human element of himself, and balance that out with his girlfriend, that he could potentially marry. But, unfortunately for him he is the protector. The one who's there when they need saving. He's there to help, and it elevates the story with there being 2 sides to the Doctor that adds more drama and raises the tension.

The ability to raise the stakes this highly, is quite impressive for a CBBC limited budget and that's not very good in some cases, but here the attempt and the audacity is impeccable. It's trying to be ambitious, and I applaud that. It's perfect in every consievable way, to the set designs, to the locations, to the action, to the writing and drama, everything is just masterfully created.

I love the scene with the War, it ties in nicely and creates a wonderful arc and Journey to are characters as a whole. And the set design, is wonderfully gorgeous and actually has some fantastic cinematography here. Also what ends the arc nicely is the Family of Blood. Who are all put into a place where they can never return. It's a good way to end the story. And a good way for them to not appear again, being monster of the week type villains. Although, I would love to see them return, as they were fantastic villains.

Dune: Part Two (2024)

With Power and Prophecy Comes Dune Part 2

A great film that delves deeper into the characters, and more of a study piece here with our Characters. Who are wonderfully portrayed inside this film, I always new how talented the likes of Timothee S and Zendaya were, who arguably had there best performance here [Timothee Chalamet), although haven't seen Wonka.

The futuristic style of the film is wonderful, so gorgeous and astetically pleasing on the eye. The effects are very good inside this film, and it's used effectively with the long range photographic image. So many wide shots which are tremendous, and as said look wonderful.

And the film delves more into the human body and it makes it more interesting. Certainly the power elements with the 'revenge' plot which is a good way to expand the world and are characters, and makes Dune Part 2 great. There's some political aspects here, but for me it didn't drag the film down.

And the length of Dune 2 is perfect. The pacing of this film is also very good, it never feels like it's dragged out at any point in time, I was always entertained and I think it's a captivating sequal that should not be ignored. It's also a perfect world that projects imagery and some great use of colour and effect. Makes it a great fun film to watch, If you liked the first part, I strongly suggest you watch this one. Because it's even better!

Overall Rating:9/10, Would I recommend this film? Absolutely 100% Enjoyed it very much!

FIFA 09 (2008 Video Game)

Revisiting the old Fifas, A review of the past

A very cool Football game, but the newer installments does have you rolling your eyes. And even questioning how it's declined. However, this is not the same for the brilliance of Fifa 09 and many old Fifas.

This game has simple game play, but it doesn't bore you, it doesn't need to be high end definition with glitchy players (primarily the newer fifas) or hard game play that was almost impossible to play. Like running with Stick Legs. But, the games at it's best when it's simple. Because it works so well and you can actually play a fun game without getting so annoyed. The Arena was always quite fun to play before the game. And it's a good way of experiencing what's gonna happen in your game.

I feel like this game is great, and was so much fun to play back in the day, on the X-BOX 360. Creating so many wonderful memories and very Nostalgic at the time. I remember always waking up and desperately waiting, in an eegre Manor to play these video games. It had so much impact on my life and even made me a big fan of the game. I even then started supporting my family team (Spurs) and for my local club. So much good things came out of it.

I rated this one a 6 though just because I found the other fifas that I did play slightly better, and those ones were Fifa 11, Fifa 13, Fifa 14 (twice) and Fifa 17 which is one of my personal favourites. They also have a better score card, this one wasn't particularly great to look at in a visual sense, still a fun game to play though. And I hope they make the games better and improve them later down the line. Everyone on YouTube seems to go back to the old Fifas, so I have decided to share with you some Nostalgia for me! And your sake haha...

Do I recommend this game?

For a re-visit yes, not for another 2 years or so, 6/10, next Review:Dune Part 2.

Doctor Who: Human Nature (2007)

Season 3, Episode 8

The Chase in on, in this scientific hit!

"Human Nature" is a fantastic episode of Doctor who, it's twisted, it's complicated and it's a nice change of pace. Where the Doctor isn't being the Doctor, in fact, he's living as a human. Hence the title. It's a perfectly sofisticated story that has depth and creativity oozing out of the episode. And Allonsy! As I review they.

Doctor is being chased by something, and we don't quite no what it is. So he has to hide himself from these chasers who are trying to destroy him, as they usually try to do, without succeeding. The Doctor is put with a challenge, and has to make a decision about how he's going to hide. He decides to turn himself into a human, by removing his two-hearts he successfully terns into a fully fleshed human.

The old design of the school is truly groundbreaking, with a dash even a hint of new modern building. That's old, and has been through many decades. But, yes the building does look very nice. And the Doctor as a teacher seems very new, but is cleverly linked with Seasons 2 "School Reunion" and Season 8's "The Caretaker" so it very much works fundamentally here. I like how Martha is now a cleaner of the school. I love these segments of the school, every person seems to be completely different to one another being very well fleshed out on their own terms. Everything just seems to move smoothly and swiftly and I enjoy it's brisk pacing, along with the theme. It all feels cleverly layed out and formatted in a way that's easy to understand.

The theme is before the War, and each kids take part in shooting practise getting prepared for the war when it does eventually take place. And the scene is beautiful it almost looks like a scene from a book, with some beutiful landscapes and the amount of scenery taking place. Adding layers to the simple side of the story, and I like that. The war is also an interesting topic to focus on and it works very well here. The target practise, the formally dressed headteacher of the school is very well in shape and making sure the kids are doing well. And alas they do.

The Doctor is also in love here, and thinks of starting a family. However, as we all know that can't happen. He's the Doctor after all. The episode even shows a book hand-drawn by him, giving us slight hints of change. That he could change back, and a book about the Monsters he's seen, only in his dreams. As he's forgotten all about the old times, that's why he's human. And how he's surprisingly able to hide. Unfortunately for him, some Nosey bloke that seems to think the Doctors behaviour is slightly questionable he is able to find a time capture. Where it shows the Doctors past, where then the chasers are able to find where the Doctor is.

An aircraft piles down, and scarecrows get controlled on. And now, the Monsters have found the Doctor. The scarecrows kidnap any walkers going through the beutiful farm land. And turning the beutiful scenery of the farm, a place you like to go, into a frightful experience. Now, the Doctor must change. Otherwise, all hell will break loose. And the Scarecrows will take form and brutally trap people. Something unsophisticated, turned into some raised questions by it's audience and the anticipation of what's going to happen next, sofisticating even the simple parts of the story.

The Family of Blood have tracked down the Doctor. Now, he is almost certainly in danger of something bad happening. And the episode almost ends on a positive not when they are all at a party. But, Martha keeps trying to say that he's the Doctor. And now they have been spotted, and that leads to the Family of Blood crashing and causing havoc on the party-goers who are now surrounded by Scarecrows and dark unhinged people, if you like. And that leads the end of the episode on a climax. I just love the high tailed drama, even horror and how sofisticated this episode is. With many great scenes.

Now, Would I recommend this Episode?

10/10 A true MASTERPIECE, you don't know what your missing, absolutely! Highly entertaining too!

Doctor Who: 42 (2007)

Season 3, Episode 7

The episode that is one of the weakest in siries 3, but does have some interesting ideas at play here, like the Sun. And the puzzles in order to unlock one of the rooms. And the writer of "42" Chris Chibnall, which many consider his era pitiful. Lots to digest here also with the concept of the episode, and the issues with Chris Chibnalls run you can see here, Heck! You even have whovians bringing in a checklist of all his flaws, but let's not get carried away. "42" is the weakest link of siries 3, that's if, "The Lazarus Experiment" didn't exist. And in this case, that's not a bad thing as I consider siries 3 a very strong siries as a whole. And one of the best in the show.

Martha's dynamic with her mother is brilliantly emotional in this episode, and the Jones' family are really well-written in this siries. They have lots of depth and character development throughout siries 3, which further routes us to Martha's character. And her dynamic with her mum in this episode is certainly heartbreaking and very powerful. As she might die, due to the heat of the sun. Which leades to the Doctor having to make a decision. And even questioning himself, which Is great writing.

The Doctor is put to the test in this episode. As he has to not only save Martha but the crew members of the space ship. As some form of creature has entered the ship, and is using another lifeform in order to go around, in this case a human. And he's always within the perimeter of another crew member, sort of reminding me of Episodes like "Satin Pit" before, and "Cold War" after. Cold War having the Ice warrior within the perimeter of another person. And in close contact. In "42" we see his wife trying to help him, and him eventually saying "It's your FAULT" which lacks a punch, and any emotional attachment we may of had with these characters. Which leads me to my next point.

The thing that holds an episode, is the supporting cast. Unfortunately here, they are far from being great as they are so underdeveloped you don't have time to route for them. Which is a major issue in the Chibnall era. And was done better in the "Satin Pit" with the supporting cast. Which, adds to my next question, should their of been a different writer. Like Toby Whitehouse, you know the one who made the Flood two parter, or "Nightmear in Silver and "A Town called Mercy" both in siries 7, and one of the better ones in Siries 6. Because "42" highlights some of the issues regarding chibnalls era as a whole *Cough cough* the rewrite of history with, "Timeless Children".

And this episode isn't particularly memorable, as a whole it is one of the weakest in Siries 3. Even, if that's not a bad thing, it certainly isn't a good thing either. I would rate this episode a solid 6/10

Would I recommend this Episode?

Not if your a new fan wanting to be introduced to the show, go and watch "Blink" or the intensity of the show, with "Waters of Mars" or the saddest episode to date, "Heaven Sent". Don't say I didn't warn you...

Doctor Who: The Lazarus Experiment (2007)

A fun Monster Story, a great Speech, but the weakest of Siries 3

"The Lazarus Experiment" is normally considered the weakest of Siries 3, and as a Strong Siries, I would agree. Siries 3 is one of the best siries of the show, and it starts of a fantastic run. Siries 3-5 being awesome, and the three best siries in the running. With Siries 4, being the best siries of Doctor who. Atleast, In my opinion. Anyways, this episode has some very good moments, but as a whole episode it doesn't stand on it's own 2 feet.

The plot is simple to get behind, and cleverly uses the science fiction formula with a man trying to age himself. And be younger. That's when the predictability comes into play, where the Experiment starts to go wrong. And he turns into an ugly creature. And everyone is in trouble. But, you do have the Doctor questioning the theory beforehand and is the only one worrying about what will happen. All whilst everyone is very optimistic about the idea.

The episode is a little goofy, it's a little silly. The effects are pretty outdated nowadays, but in all honesty this episode is silly fun with an easy premise to get behind. It only falters above it's own weight because the episode Is very simple, it's not overly complicated. And the story doesn't do anything particularly exciting. But, the episode does a good job of showing how simple and exciting an episode of Doctor who can be. Especially the hall-way where everyone's running away from the monster.

I always appreciated in siries 3 as to how grounded it felt. Martha's family dynamic is always perfectly displayed on screen, with chemistry gushing out of them like little peas in a pod. And is the highlight of the episode, and that's not nessaserily a bad thing, the episode and many other episodes of this siries gets this right. And it demonstrates the danger of trust and even evolution, and safety. Which comes under threat when Martha's Sister comes in close control with Lazarus.

Which leads to the fantastic line, "I know a longer life doesn't always mean a better one" which is a great line. Only because of how true it is, and it fits the episodes theme perfectly well. As the episode is all about age and ageing ofcourse, and therefore it's a decent episode. With some good things, but doesn't make the whole episode entirely better, apart from the speech.

I Would recommend Doctor Who to anyone, especially sci-fi lovers, a 5/10 from me!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)

Goblet of Fire, is Entertaining, Well paced and very intense!

Probably one of the most interesting Harry Potter films, and I'll speak why in due time. I would however like to say, I have NOT read the book. So it doesn't inflict or damage my overall thoughts on the actual film, luckily for me in that respect. But honestly, despite that criticism I think the movie is a whole lot of fun, and energetic from the get go.

We see at the start of the film that a snake is going around and looking for the Lord master, who we do not speak his name. A man is also boiling a kettle, in the house where Voldemort lies, and Barty Crouch Jr a new character added to the mix.

Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) puts on a sublime performance, he's got the talent now and suits the role perfectly here. His best stuff and scenes are in this film. Ron and Harry have more things to say and do, and conflicts this time around that need to be quickly ratified. And it makes the film more interesting, and the script is better this time around, and number 4 is really when Daniel clicks as are main protagonist.

The Dance is so Iconic with how Hermione walks down to meet the love of her life, it's also a great way to showcase what are characters can do rather then doing spells. And it's a nice change of pace and adds more depth in this world. The Music, the drama. Everything is displayed so well here, even Hermione who has a go at Ron and Harry, and the strop she has. Letting us know as the audience she is now an angst teenager. And it's great to see some more character growth.

The trywizard tournament is so full of energy, exciting and thrilling scenes that keeps you on the edge of your seat demanding more. It's the greatest set of entertaining scenes. The water scene where they have to go and rescue someone, it's intense and it's very fast paced and doesn't stop moving. It just delivers short and precised action and gets streight to the point, and I love that. Also the props for this film are top-tier and will stand the test of time, so detailed and lukewarm you just feel a real sense of mystery and wonder about it. And again, it's a nice change of pace.

Also the dragon scene. Full of action and energy, it's filled with intense scenes and therefore it's thrilling to watch Harry try and survive against a dragon. We get to see alot of Hogwarts as he flies away on his broom, it's so layered and so interesting just watching it play out.

The Maze is then where we see Voldermort at the end, and the scene is dark and creepy giving of an eerie vibe. It's so well shot too. And the duel between Harry and Voldemort is just the best and it's so much more entertaining as they are actually using spells to defeat one another. And the dark Lord has returned to strike fear into anyone's eye.

We also get to see a real quidditch match, which is peak Cinema. It felt so real and grounded and it was a nice direction to take it. I love the scenes where the teams are scoring, because the crowd cheer so loudly, and that's what makes it feel like a live match being demonstrated to us as the audience. Which, also they are the audience too.

Would I recommend this film?

Eh?, yeah definitely, 7/10.

Night Swim (2024)

Could Have...Should Have...But in the end a Missfier

On paper, the premise of the movie seems interesting, and exciting. But, the sentence written at the top, is very accurate. As unfortunately, the film lacks any thrill and horror, and leans into the family dynamic more. Which is interesting in itself, it just doesn't carry the weight of the other stuff very well. And the backstory could have been interesting, but doesn't get enough time on screen. As it Comes and goes so fast which was disappointing. Which leaves us with a half-baked film which could have been more, But let's see what works and doesn't in particular work with Night Swim.

The Backstory,

Now I am a sucker for movies/TV Shows when they add some backstory, which is a good and bad thing inside the movie, as mentioned. So, the Pool has had a dark secret, lurking in it's depths. And people seem to be disappearing. A young daughter goes missing. She is devoured by the Water itself, after a boat pops up out of nowhere. She goes and grabs it, and then pulled by something. As you can see by the description the film has a good balance of Scares and thrills, which is the main aim of the movie. However, the dates of the missing people come and go so quick when it would've been better had it been more developed. Especially when she's talking to the mother of the young child.

Family Dynamic,

The family dynamic is very interesting here, you've got a bit of history about them and their recent house they brought also has some history to it as well. Their Dad used to play cricket, and we see that he used to be a pro. Whilst, his son is now also on the cricket team. And their daughter is now trying out for the swimming team at school. They also tell us that they move quite alot, so when some strange stuff happening in the pool, the kids try their best to not unsettle their mother and father, which would then result in them having to leave to go elsewhere if this did happen.

I leave myself wondering though, why do they stay? And surely they can't be that stupid. Weird incidents happen, and they seem to brush it aside as just an accident, I mean Especially the father who even cuts his hand. And doesn't seem to think much of it. But maybe I'm thinking to hardly about it, it's only a film after all. I like how one has to be taken by the pool, to heal someone.

The Father,

Who has a condition, and that is he needs crutches to walk. But In order to heal, as ridiculous as this may seem, he has to let one of his family members die, so he then in return can be heald. It's a weird way to do that sort of thing, but it's interesting to see what might happen next. And that's what's been going on, the young daughter that we see at the start of the film has to take the sacrifice, in order to save her little brother who is about to die if he doesn't get the right treatment.

What did it get wrong/Right,

The film needed more backstory in my opinion, it felt rushed and pretty underwhelming how they executed it, so I'd say this is something the producers got wrong. The family dynamic is very well thought out and the fact they like some type of sports gives them an interesting layer of character growth and makes the movie slightly more realistic in it's approach. So this is something they get right. The reason why the lady had black mush come out of her, I'd of liked to of known how and why that came about, and how does it turn people into some kind of demon. It has me raising questions rather then awnsers, so they got this wrong In my eyes. So overall, it could have been better in terms of thrills and scary scenes. As it's very family oriented. Which doesn't give enough time for it's Horror or thriller moments.

Would I recommend this film?

Unless you Like films to do with backstory and water like Jaws, then no, not particularly. 4/10.

The Sidemen Story (2024)

The Life of the Sidemen

An interesting portrayal of the Sidemen is showcased here, where all members speak up about their past experiences and overall thoughts about their content as a whole. It delved into some of these aspects, and tackled the struggles the Sidemen had, each of the 7 members. However, It doesn't give us much insight, and I feel as If it could of given us more. But, it was certainly interesting the bits that they did give us.

Ethan in particular, his journey has certainly seemed the toughest out of the whole group. And shows how he was struggling in life with all the bullying, and him finding ways to deal with it. And seeing him working hard and going to the Gym and getting much fitter for him was a brilliant journey. And showed how he cared for his body, but also the determination he had to put it right, which was fantastic. And him changing after the bullying about his weight, really is detrimental to him as a person/Influencer. And it was great to see some insight on him.

Although I am a big fan of the Sidemen, and have been for years. It's a little strange that other 'Influencers' have to tell us this. Like we don't already know how superb and popular they are. And how big they'll become in the near by future. Heck, you even see people saying stuff like "The world isn't ready to see Sidemen leave" and stuff like that. They didn't need to shorhorn it in, it felt rather unnecessary, especially the Hollywood scene.

But, I like how we do get to see some fan votes. And what they admire most about the Sidemen. If I am honest, for me it's the difference they've made in the world. And particularly their charity work, with the Football matches. Which is the most entertaining thing to watch out of their catalogue. Which is great, and very dearing. And the overall connection they have with their fans is truly great.

I like looking at the clips of their old videos before they became the Sidemen. And how they became part of a group, that was interesting. It felt pretty rushed though, as they then went to another topic. But, I did enjoy that segment. And found it rather funny. The cheap and the expensive videos takes me back, that was a fun little revisit that put a smile on my face. And the life of the expense and the Poor.

Although a lot of money was mentioned whenever a video had popped up about a video they made, and personally I didn't care for that. I'd rather listen to more of their backstory then how much money they make. Because, again we kind of already know how much money they could potentially be making. And the Dig at Tottenham, didn't need to be in this movie at all. Completely Unnecessary and don't know why they kept it in the Documentary if I am being totally honest. Which Kind of lessened the enjoyment out of the Doc for me, but let's not end on a sour Note.

All of the Boys journey and personal growth to fame has been amazing. And the realisation of how costly he could be and the significant impact it has on people is really great to see here. My personal favourite is Tobi because of his smile. Simon has great lyrics, and is a great wrapper, and can sing so fast it's incredible. And so was the behind the scene of it was also really interesting. I liked KSIs backstory more then anything. About family. W2S seems like a pretty chill guy, and seems like a good dude. And the guy who made those Minecraft videos was phenomenal and he was great at the game. Also the motivation between the boys is great to see. And really motivates you to create some content yourself, later down the line perhaps. And goodluck to you, if you ever do a video yourself.

Would I recommend this Documentary?

Yes, but don't expect too much information, but congratulations to the boys on their paths and journeys, life stories, and the story of success and even redemption, 6.5/10.

Migration (I) (2023)

Decent, but doesn't do anything to subvert your expectations, in an otherwise fine attempt

A decent attempt at a kids movie, I wasn't expecting much. If anything, I thought this movie was going to be bad, as most Illumination movies are. But it wasn't Uninspiring or dull, or even Boring like the majority of Illumination movies are. And if you think I'm being harsh, Pixar and Disney (Money Grabbers they might be) they still captivate audiences with perfect animation styles, soundtracks, stories and even characters and villains. Where Illumination as a studio pales in comparison. However, this isn't bad. As per say, I think theirs some stuff to be enjoyed here.

Gwen who's the young duckling is actually rather cute. And kids will enjoy the cuteness of her. As well, as the voice acting. Especially from Danny Devito who gives a great performance as the uncle. And most of the others, have great voice acting too. The Villain a psychotic maniac as a chef is a fun, if bland and a bit of a basic character, which is a bit of a rip-off to the one from Chicken Run. Regardless, he's still fine. And I love the variety of colours and locations that this film provides us with, and in an ubundance. Locations are so beautifully illustrated to us in this film that it's kind of hard not to praise it.

The downside of this film is how basic it is. The Father and the uncle don't want to Migrate elsewhere as they are happy ducklings, feeling safe. However, the other 3 ducklings want to leave and go on an adventure. And with a bit of persuasion they then come to terms with it. And there's a few obstacles along the way. Like the maniac chef. And they find their way to Jamaica. Which, is pretty much the whole movie wrapped up for you.

Regardless. The chef scenes are great, with a nice setting, and the film providing some tension between are group of Ducklings. The Balloon going down and enlarging is also a funny gag to raise the tension. Where they then have to try and save the guy from Jamaica, which the maniac chef trapped him. And they then find some other ducklings, this tension is raised by the chef visiting the place where the Ducklings view as Heaven, quite literally. So that's some interesting stuff.

And the Tiktok Vid going viral, "Do you feel better", "No", "Then it hasn't kicked in yet" which is said by the brother and sister. And this movie does illustrate to the audience the importance of family. Especially the plane sequence where they are captured by the chef. And they have to think of a clever way of getting out, the mother and the father of the ducklings. So theis some stakes here.

Would I recommend this film?

For people who are 3-6 Might enjoy it, 7-10 Might get slightly bored, the rest of you should just avoid it, 5 Out of 10.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)

Dark and Mysterious

The third entry of the potterverse is in my opinion, the best of the bunch. And a very good bunch too, that keeps delivering good and entertaining movies constantly. This movie has very mature themes, and I enjoy how they turned Harry Potter into a more darker, and grounded siries. And it's safe to say it works here.

Aunt Petulia arrives at Dursley's house, we see Harry at his teenage self and all is well, they are getting along smoothly. Then Dinner comes around, and that's when the episode of the long franchise gets dark. For the first time. Harry is sick of Aunt Petulia, and I would be do. So he decides to use magic (outside of Hogwarts) and turns her into a fat old Lady. I like how they balanced humour, with a more dark and creepy atmosphere which is displayed in the movie really well, for me it just works very well and is tonely consistent. The humour also lands as well. And we see her floating up in the sky, which is just so silly. But you can't help but laugh at the scenario as she got what she deserved. She was mostly annoying, and talking about Harry's parents was obviously not going to go down well.

Then Harry Runs off. God Knows where or what he's going to do. But this is where the mystery then takes place. Swing gently but noisily going up and down, and then a growl turning into a loud bark and then no where to go, Harry is now trapped. But then the Night Bus comes along and rescues Harry from danger. And then all is well, it also proceeds to give us some funny lines of dialogue with the Bus Boarder. Again, balancing that more darker side to Harry Potter and then adding extra layers buy encourparating some humour to the mix.

And on the discussion of darkness, Serious Black is out of prison, and is a murderer, Take her away Earny. Shouts the guy. Sorry I just added that in their because y'know hearing that I would scream fearing for my life. They both have an 's' anyways where were we, oh yes Serious Black. Also got an S too. Hey I'm good at finding 's'. But we are lead to believe later in the film that he's looking for Harry. And Harry's like, I ain't taking no chances. I ain't gonna look for a guy who's tryna kill me.

We see him fighting a book, which is like a spider book. Now Harry is on his way to Hogwarts. Where everything starts of as normal. Then something starts to go wrong, the train stops!, something appears to be out there. The glass window then begins to freeze at the near sight of are protagonists. And where Chlostrophobia is creeping in on us. A Dementa is then spotted. It's looking for Serious Black.

Also like the added bits in the story, like the Book-spider things that are pretty comical, but deadly. And the time jump clock. Also the Mauraders Map which shows exactly where everyone is, I'll get to that later. And the Rediculous fears is also another funny part of the story, but also very dark too. And it's more dramatic and intense then the first two films. The Rediculous scheme, from professor Lupin.

We are believed that Serious Black has entered Hogwarts and at any moment could strike. So we see the School gates closing, students being protected at all times. Whilst having the Dementas outside. We see this frame where the kids are having fun and messing around, and the Dementas outside killing plants, which is another dark element to an otherwise light scene between a group of teens.

And the arrival of Buckbeeckis also a pleasant one. Where the kids get to ride him, but only buy it's consent. Otherwise it'll fight back as it thinks it's getting attacked. Unfortunately for him and Hagrid Malfoy goes up to it, and in self defence strikes the arm of Malfoy. Unfortunately, knowing Malfoy he will tell his father, and Unfortunately for Buckbeeck things will go from bad to worse. As he will then have to be executed.

The womping willow getting more screen time was a pleasant surprise and a much needed one. The howls and the growls of a werewolf can be heard, and takes Ron in with him. Followed buy Hermione and Harry who are brutally handled buy the tree. They then meet Ron, who is in sheer panic. Pointing and staring at no other then the man himself, Serious Black that is. Professor Lupin who took the Map knows exactly where they are, The marauders map. And he thinks the servant is dead, Peter Pedegree, Ron's Rat formerly known as Scavers. The three adults take form of animals in order to hide themselves from anyone trying to hurt them. Turns out Peter is the bad one, and Serious Black is actually not bad. We go out side only to see Lupin turn into his true self, a Wearwolf. When he was doing the Rediculous task, it said he was scared of the Moon, so it plays perfectly here.

Another thing that perfectly plays, is the time watch. That's why Hermione could be late for class, without any one noticing, and they try and save Buckbeeck. Which goes down successfully. And they try and get him away from marked territory so the killer can't find out where BuckBeecks whereabouts are. Which then you see Harry Flying the big crazy bird, where we then see a mug shot of Harry, ending the third film on a high note. Perfectly leading to the fourth installment of the franchise.

Alphonso Curon has better direction, then Chris Columbus. It isn't as dull, and the imagery used here feels very natural and he uses different styles to make a scene more intense, which is what Unfortunately Columbus lacked. And Curon has a very good direction style, very dark and dramatic and also very creative with encompassing humour and other effects to make the watcher more interested, and it works. With his unique style brought to screen, perfectly capturing the world of Harry Potter. With great up-beat and atmospheric music when in an intense scenario. Or a lighter bit of music, in less tense scenes also working very well.

Would I recommend this film?

Take it away Earney for me and you to watch, Take it get it!, and yes I do, 7.5/10.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)

The second Entry of this wizarding world, is far from spectacular

Now I am going to be doing a Harry Potter marathon, whilst the Televison Siries is coming out next year...I thought it would be a good idea to Rank these movies. I am not the biggest fan of the books, the movies. But I do have fun with them. And Harry Potter:And the Chamber of Secrets is for me the worst in the siries.

The acting is mostly fine, but the defense against the dark arts teacher is way over-the-top in my opinion, and theirs alot of over acting in this movie, and specifically with him. He has charm, he has charisma, and he thinks he has bravery. And he thinks he's a best selling book artist, when in reality he is just annoying.

Another thing I am not typically fond of is the spiders plot-line. It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense, surely Hagrid who knows the spiders, surely he wouldn't just let to teens in the woods to follow the Spiders? And they also appear and disappeare throughout the story, so I am not sure sure what their inclusion is really for, probably to layer the story. But anyway, Harry and Ron find the spiders. And Harry tells the spiders, "Did Hagrid open the chamber of secrets", and he's like No. And then decides to eat them. And then their gone again and out of the picture.

And the stuff with Lord Voldemort, "I am Lord Voldermort" felt rather silly and a bit cringeworthy. But I love Tom Riddles storyline here, very well developed. And looking back on Hogwarts to find out who used the Chamber is really interesting and who could of been with Moaning Murtle that night really gives this movie high stakes and is interesting because you don't quite know what's going to happen.

The actual storyline to this movie isn't bad either, infact it's really interesting, and it's a great contrast from the first film which was mostly world building, yeah it had stakes. But not as high as this one. And on the topic of inclusions, Dobby was a breath of fresh air. Being the slaves of the Malfoy family. Warning Harry about a Serious plot, and not to go to Hogwarts. Whilst his uncle is down stairs talking to a few workers. And hears to much commotion upstairs, so decides to put handle bars on Harry's window. God he lucked out.

Then Ron and his brothers come to Harry's aid, and use the flying car. Which when they go to Hogwarts, leads to a good scene where they almost hit the train, pure memes that is. So they get to Hogwarts, and very late. It's almost as if someone didn't want Harry to be at Hogwarts, I just love the build-up to this story. It's very well crafted. Professor Snape isn't best pleased with them, and completely boils to the point of frustration and anger and rages at the boys due to there stupidity and lack of self awareness. They are however, allowed to stay at Hogwarts, due to a few conditions.

The end fight scene is so good, and is probably the best in the Potter franchise. So full of energy and so much pase throughout it's exciting and engaging to watch. The Snake like Creatures smell and it's pace is frightening, as well as it's hight, as the tension is raised up high. And the power it has. Adds to the high stakes of the film, which this film mastered.

Theirs alot more I would love to cover, however their is sadly a limit on here, but I do enjoy this film, just a couple of set backs for me that ends up being an average affair, but not bad. Just the others in this franchise are slightly better or even much better in my opinion.

So, would I recommend this film?

Yes, Just switch of your brain from Time to time and watch the movie pose it's magic to us, 5.5/10.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3 (2024 Video Game)

Intense, atmospheric and a very Chlaustrophobic game!

Now Watching Daz is like therapy, in the literal sense, he's so funny. And the games that he plays are interesting and engaging. And that's coming from a person who is not much of a gamer themselves. But, just because I haven't played this game, and enjoy games as much as other people that doesn't mean I can't give detailed analysis on these games, and fair Criticism of one.

Was the Game Good?

The game was exceptional, the world building in this game was nothing short of incredible, as of the deeply layered story and the graphic designs of each individual character was so detailed and complex it was pleasing on the eyes. The game itself was great to look at. The Puzzles, the mystery and suspense of this game just did not let up. Also being In small dark rooms creating that effect of chlostrophobia was immense in this game. Everything about this Game just seemed to click right from the off. Keeping you on your toes, quite literally. Keeping you guessing and fearing every turn you took.

The Voice Acting, Was it Good?

Yes, and I'm not even kidding. Very few games have had good voice acting, but this one nailed it !. It feels ahead of it's time. The first voice note, you could really feel the emotion of the person, and it felt like you were only in her shoes at that moment in time, the voice acting here worked very well. There's not much to decyfer about the other ones, just the fact they were hella creepy and would send chivers down your spine. The toddler one however, on the train. With an excited person about the project was interesting and added some dynamic to the story, and really creepy as to what would of happened to them. Creating some atmospheric tension, that had not quite been unfolded.

The chase sequences, were they good?

Or should I say dream sequence, which Poppy's look was so creepy and strange. And the hall-way being so small added some chlostrophobia and was an intense scene. Very atmospheric too, and that was a short chase scene. And yes that was good. The second one also was very quick, with lots of twists and turns and dark rooms making it even the more creepy. And I liked the jumps kind of between A-z jumping past plot points making it so interesting and really anticipating the next event of the sequence or even a chase scene. Which is why also, I think the game is ahead of its time.

The Puzzles, are they interesting?

Yes, very well developed. Some of them kept you thinking and even fearing for your next move and creating some drama. The anticipation and the twists and turns never gave up, and the Puzzles had you questioning every corner you even deared to proceed to or even ignore. The tension was kept that high throughout the game and Dazes Video.

What are the Negatives?

There really weren't much, only for me personally seeing a lot of empty rooms was slightly disappointing. I hope they make a new one where they can go in most rooms. Because alot of the rooms didn't need to be used, so hopefully in Poppy's Playtime 4 they address that issue, and even some questions that need to be awnsered. But overall, a very enjoyable game with great world building throughout its 2hr 40 Minute run time. And some fun action scenes to be invested by.

Would I recommend this Game?

Absolutely, 100% a fun game to play, it will keep you on your toes throughout, and guessing what might happen next, 8.5/10.

Shark Season (2020)

Great premise, Horrible Movie

This movie did have some positives, upping the rating from a 1, and in this case even a 2. Now this movie isn't great, but their are some stuff in here to enjoy. The movies premise is actually quite good for a survival thriller and getting away from a Great white Shark. And it does add stakes and entertainment value.

The movies soundtrack is awesome, It's groovy and has some songs that makes you want to get up of your feet and even dance, and foreshadowing what the actual reality is and what it will become. But, I do enjoy the music and it doesn't overstate it's welcome. The water is absolutely stunning to look at, lots of cool camera shots to look at, and some great views on the island. And clever wide shots. Creating more of an atmosphere due to the characters surroundings. However that's where the positives end.

The acting for the most part was hammy and cheesy, and did feel phoned in. For example, the father doesn't really look all that interested in the movie role, heck I Don't really blame him, I'd rather play snooker. And talk to a wall. But, I Don't know maybe that's just me. Or he genuinely is phoning it in and doesn't want to be their. And the script is so poor, there is nothing worthy about it. Most of the characters Don't even look at each other even if their talking to each other half the time. And it wouldn't be a horror movie without the characters making dumb decisions, there's even an entire list of them on display here!

The man decides to go for a swim, despite the girls being suspicious of their being something in the water, it isn't dumb but it's slightly weird. As does the Blond chick. They all stay on an isolated island, where there's an even bigger one only a few meters away. And they kiyack 3 miles out, which is in no way safe or relatable to anyone.

Those are some of the dumbest decisions that take place in this movie, it does do one thing right in all of this. And builds the tension and stakes by having the tide come in at the 2 girls, and have them stranded in the middle of the ocean with a Shark on the wearabouts. Which does make for a fast paste swim when they do see someone's trying to rescue them from Sea. Now time for my overall thoughts.

Would I recommend this film?

Nope..., I suggest you do anything else and avoid it, I watched it so you don't have to. It's not the worst film though, 3/10, 2.66.

Are You Afraid of the Dark?: The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner (1994)

The Best that Are you Afraid of the Dark offered, and it's truly a gripping Masterpiece, that's stayed in my head for Mounths

A really great story, the episode as a whole is fairly well paced in my eyes, and despite being an old show it still has some great prop designs and some cool effects to make the episode flashy, now this is inherity the best episode of the entire show, and I am sure that the revival of the show back in 2019, doesn't have a bite on this episode. Being the best episode of an already great show, means it must of been incredibly memorable and deeply disturbing, and in truth and short terms in dead it was.

Ethan, a boy who likes reading comic strips is desperate to be noticed by one of the greats, in terms of comic strips. And the ones he has made himself, unfortunately for him he is fixated on any comic book strip, and a book worm in that sense. Meaning, he doesn't find himself time to do the important things that will change his life I.e studying. He does have a studying partner, which goes haywire for a bit and things Don't seem all as good, mostly down to Ethan only thinking about his comics, but all comes well.

But their is one that Ethan is fixed on and mostly fascinated with the Ghastly Grinner comics, and only to reveal a truly disturbing and leads to Ethan being in a chlostrophobic way when the Ghastly grinner creates havoc and hell in his own home. His mother gets infected by the Ghastly Grinners tedious and horrible cause of laughing. I love the blue and yellow design he has, he really feels like a comic book character, or should I say Villain. I also the concept, it's very approachable and it does seem believable, in the way that Ethan loves Comics. It means people get to relate to Ethan in some ways. And the lack of studying he does, I mean we've all been their before. And even imagining a world full of heroes, again we have all been like this, so the episode is very relatable and in more ways then one.

The shop is beutiful and really takes centre stage with it's great use of colour and lighting, which is very bright. It's the perfect tone for this episode, light with hints of darkness and shed loads of creativity. I like the Marvel logo, it really makes it seem like a comic book store which is very clever. And I love the idea of the fathers daughter of the comic strip, the Ghastly grinner being stuck inside the book with needing saving, it's some high stakes. And it's not afraid to go big and bold.

The resolution has something to be desired, but it's Hillarious and keeps the entertainment factor up, with some mystery inside the story. Overall thoughts, quite brilliant, 9.5/10.
