Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023)
Not as bad as everyone is saying
While Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny doesn't come close to being as good as the first 3 movies, it was better than The Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls. Yes Indy is old as dirt, and the fight / action sequences made that painfully obvious, but I grew up on the original 3 movies and this movie did bring back that nostalgic feeling and excitement of the original 3. I see this movie getting blasted by super low reviews, and I can understand why, but if ur a true Indy fan and grew up loving the movies like I did, then u won't feel like this was time wasted. All I know is this has to be last one in the series, and I truly hope Disney and their greedy execs don't recast Indy with some younger star and drain what life is left out of the series. If I wasn't such a huge fan of the Indy movies I'd give this 5/10, but like I said it did bring back a nostalgic joy from my childhood and I was able to ignore the obvious faults in the movie and enjoy it nonetheless, so I give it 8/10 stars!! Also Mads Mikkelsen plays a great villain doesn't he!?!?! Who would've guessed a Nazi actually wants to go back in time and kill ole Adolf! Lol, that was a nice plot twist and almost made me wanna see him succeed.... but the whole 1,000 year German Reich stuff just doesn't seem too cool, so im glad the good guys win again!
Archer: Into the Cold (2023)
Fitting end for a legendary show!!
While I am so sad to see Archer end after 15 years and 14 seasons, the show left us with so many hilarious memories and catch phrases I still use to this day!! Thank u to the crew, the voice actors and all the people who made the show possible. RIP Jessica Walter and George Coe, the show just wasn't the same without Mallory and Woodhouse!! Now we just need an Archer/Pam mercenary spinoff lol. I know Rick and Morty is the hot show right now and it's definitely one of my favs, no show consistently made me laugh or brought me joy on a crappy day than Archer and the lunatics at ISIS. Also shoutout to Slater and Barry...... 2 of the greatest recurring characters in the shows run! Thanks again for all the good times.
Krapopolis (2023)
No its not Rick and Morty, but it's still hilarious!
All I've seen is people complain about the show bc it isn't R & M, which imo is a good thing! R & M is PHENOMENAL (prob my fav "adult" cartoon along with Archer), but this has a totally different feel, after the first 2 episodes I was on the fence, but sticking with it I've come to love the show, the characters and the way they mock humans, civilization, our myths and beliefs, etc. It's def more along the lines of Community where the humor comes from the character interactions more so than the wild adventures like R & M. If u only watched 1 or 2 eps, stick with it, it gets better and better each episode. The characters who were kinda annoying the first couple eps develope more personality as it goes along and it's made the show so much better. I remember when Rick and Morty came out people 💩 all over it, but now it's THE show everyone loves. Give it a chance people, it's not crazy laugh out loud funny, but it pokes fun at deeper issues the way R & M does, but without the utter sadness lol.
Shadow OPS: Codename: Trigon (2013)
Spies Declassified: Martha Peterson and Codename "Trigon"
This was a great story I knew of but did not know all the details about it. There was lots of fascinating spycraft and overall my biggest takeaway was: Martha Peterson was (and still is) a total badass!! Mostly I just have no idea how she covertly pulled off all the missions she did, especially since she was packing a gigantic set of heavy, clanging, steel ladyballs!!! Holy smokes in Moscow for years working as a spy.......... she was stone cold and had ice water in her veins!! Even in the KGB HQ's she kept her cool. All in all Ms Martha Peterson is definitely an American hero and I 100% want to read her book now. ✌ I hope that everyone who watches enjoys it as much as I did!! ✌
