What a letdown!
As a fan of the genre, I was really excited about the film. Also, the expectation rose when I found out it was the first R-rated film by Raihan Rafi. But sadly, it wasn't the movie I expected from the director of so many amazing movies.
The storytelling felt engaging to me. However, the acting at the most important times was unrealistic and laughable. Some part of the murder scene didn't even feel real. I mean, I could literally see the weapons slowing down when it were about to reach the victims. Such details were left alone.
Sound effects? I have to admit those were the most irritating part of watching the films. I mean, when does cutting people sound like dead leaves! That's not just weird; that's unacceptable from Raihan Rafi. How could the direction let such stupid sound effects be included in the film?
And I have to admit, if you can't do the s*x scenes, why don't you ignore them? But when they were included, that scene was really weird. The male actor was literally shaking the table with his hands, and you want the viewers to accept that as a relevant scene?
Well, in the end, I am disappointed with the film. If such minor details were handled with care, this film could've been much better.
Shigatsu wa kimi no uso (2014)
Unforgettable!
From it's heartwarming music to the tragic end of the story, this anime has kept me engaged the whole time. The sensation, the frustration, and the fascination depicted in this anime are second to none I have ever seen. A beautiful portrayal of the characters and their backstories was amazing. The relationship among the characters was depicted perfectly. Whether it's the art or it's the story, this anime deserves to hold a high position in the romance genre with ease. It is a clear demonstration of the hard work the production team has put into this show.
It's a recommendation for anyone willing to enjoy some quality time. It truly is an amazing production!
Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
hihi
The series was about two spies who had to marry for their jobs by order of their company. But soon their marriage becomes fragile and full of disbelief, anger, and jealousy. The ending was sort of unexpected, and the film was full of fragments and unanswered questions.
However, a more detailed background story about the characters could've been added, and some scenes, for example, the first scene, made no sense to me. The only connection that exists is what happens to those who fail to complete their mission. But I think that was unimportant and redundant.
But in the end, it wasn't such a waste of time. The time I spent watching the film wasn't boring; instead, it was quite enjoyable.
Don't Knock Twice (2016)
How can something so recent be so lame!
The story of this film is something so illogical and stupid. I don't want to demotivate creativity but from the editing of this movie to keeping the suspense for long enough, is totally sucked. The editing could be way more better and so do the story. Sometime, you are going to feel like, why did they even do it! I didn't like the story this is what I want to say. The characters who died were not introduced properly. Even with such a small amount of fact, they could introduce the character more ways. Most of the things of this movie don't even make sense. The cinematography could be way more better...
