The Men Who Killed Kennedy (1988)
Since neither the Government nor the Media will tell you...
Read this review (and copy it) now--it might not be here later.
This is required viewing for anyone who wants to know the truth about the JFK assassination. You'll never hear this information from any major network, magazine nor newspaper. They absolutely will never tell you. That's how much power the forces have who murdered our 35th President in a coup d'état. I would not be surprised if this review is never featured on IMDb once it's seen by those who control the media. If the government calls IMDb and says, "We'd appreciate it if you'd remove this review," do you really think anyone would refuse? This series, along with Douglas Horne's video "Finally hearing the TRUTH about the JFK cover-up" provide an overwhelming amount of proof that JFK's murder was, in fact, a coup d'état and not the work of a the man who correctly identified himself on national TV as "the patsy" not too many hours before Jack Ruby (who was ordered to do so) murdered him.
You NEED to know, not only what happened then, but you need to connect the dots to understand why the wicked people who were behind JFK's murder are still in control.
The first question that should provoke is, "Aren't they dead?" Almost everyone who planned the coup is dead, but the self-serving power structure that was behind the scenes then is more powerful today and their plan is far more developed than 51 years ago and this information provokes too many questions along with a curiosity that these people DO NOT WANT the citizens to develop. They want you to just pretend we're "The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave" while they continue their plans to make the backbone of this nation their serfs.
The evil scenario has so developed that you would never believe it no matter who tells you. You must discover it bit by bit for yourself. It's worse than 1984.
That's why you need to learn for yourself. This series and the video report of the Assassination Records Review Board are the very best places to start.

War on Health: The FDA's Cult of Tyranny (2012)
Nothing is going to happen--the American Government is TOO CROOKED
This documentary was posted on YouTube TWO AND A HALF YEARS AGO! Notice any TV commentaries? Any mention of it on the radio? In the newspapers? In the magazines? In the High Schools? In the Colleges and Universities? Did Oprah, Whoopi or Joy Behar mention it? Matt Lauer, Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly?
No? Gee, I wonder why?
Because THEY'RE ALL SELFISH AND SELF-SERVING. NOTHING IS GOING TO BE DONE. The FDA, the FBI, the CIA, the Congress, the Courts, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the UN, the State authorities, the local authorities... on and on it goes. THEY'RE ALL CROOKS AND NO ONE WILL DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THE ONLY THING ANYONE CARES ABOUT IS HIMSELF AND GETTING MORE MONEY IN HIS POCKETS.
They push sexual perverts and perversion and say nothing while the government and business seek to destroy the health of Americans for the benefit of the ALREADY WEALTHY.
Do you think Obama is going to do something about it? Who do you think put him in office? The entire nation is run by unelected criminals and they own the news media and they control education and business.
The few people who complain have no power and if they make too much of a fuss, they'll be murdered just like Breitbart and his Coroner (while the witness completely disappears!) and the news media will cover it up, and Factcheck.org and Snopes.com will call it an urban legend and WHO WILL CHALLENGE THEM? The OTHER media "authorities" who are ALSO deceiving the public?
Deceit, fraud and criminality on this level had so many bases covered so long ago that they don't even care when someone makes documentaries. The "sheep" will say, "this can't be true or the news would have told us," saying to themselves, "This is America," but being too naive, too ignorant, too busy with "fun" and too DECEIVED to realize that the media has been owned by these bastards since before they were born. The media has been filling the public with so much fluff, lies and nonsense that people are too brainwashed to consider the pied piper has been playing long before this generation started.
This is the fruit of rejecting God. Watch the documentary. Then watch it again. Then watch it again. MARVEL that THIS IS WORSE THAN "1984"! But then, it's 30 years AFTER 1984!
You'll think, "This can't be true." It's worse than they say, because they're only talking about food and health. The corruption is just as bad EVERYWHERE. To get a half-decent picture of how bad it is, you'd have to spend 500 hours of research and THAT would really interfere with your leisure time!
The MAJOR MEDIA is the group that has kept ALL THIS INFORMATION FROM YOU. Oh, they've mentioned it. While they've put out 5000 stories on every frivolous piece of nonsense imaginable, they've occasionally and casually mentioned that someone was complaining about something in the health industry and then let it go in the same way they've mentioned all the other atrocities with the same level of "And now, for the sidebar (worthless) information..." that was deliberately framed in such a way as to suggest it was just as meaningless as they wanted you to think it was. They've made the citizens of America the pawn of their takeover while they've deliberately filled the nation with foreigners who have no loyalty or even knowledge of our history. They will not stop until they really do rule the world and everyone DOES have a mark in their right hand or forehead, without which they will NOT be able to buy or sell.
Read it again. This is the fruit of rejecting God. The Sunday after 9/11 the churches were full. Three weeks later it was back to business as usual.
We're living in a nightmare while the piper is playing and the media is pretending all is well. This is how they put a Kenyan Muslim in the office of President. You think he's going to do something? Like what? Give ANOTHER 7.7 TRILLION DOLLARS to rich white men?
All is not well, and it's not going to get any better because YOU don't want to take your time, tell everyone you know, and risk being ridiculed. After all, it's not your life, is it.
Top Priority: The Terror Within (2012)
Michael Smith nailed it
I can't improve upon Michael Smith's review except to say that if you'll check the ratings of this absolutely finest example of documentary work I've ever seen in my life, you'll see that the murderers and perpetrators of this travesty, who work for the Department of Homeland Security (aka Department of Perversion of Justice), show their unrelenting criminality by requesting their close associates (their felonious partners in crime), reach out to extend their dishonesty and corruption just a little bit further, by asking them to come here and unanimously vote this absolutely superb documentary a "1".
Out of 104 IMDb User ratings, 79 gave it a "10", 8 gave it an "9", ONE gave it a "4", and 16 (evidently criminal employees and/or friends of the criminal DHS agents who tried to destroy Julia) gave it a "1" because they couldn't give it anything less!
IMDb might investigate and dismiss these BOGUS ratings.
Take note: there are no votes of 8,7,6,5,3 or 2.
These scoundrels participated in the murders of four innocent people and still refuse to give up their vicious and evil persecution of Julia and BJ Davis with yet another attempt to undermine and deny the truth.
All this was done to preserve the arrogant pride of Director Robert Bonner, who didn't want the nation to see the failure of the DHS to fail to process 23 men on July 4, 2004 (a day *marked* by Intelligence sources to be alert to an attempt to enter the U.S. from terrorist nations, obviously because he was concerned that it would be seen as his failure and he didn't want this scandal used as an opportunity to remind the nation of the Shuttle disaster and his name become a mocking song.
So, destroy Julia Davis to hide the DHS failure to be the watchdogs they're supposed to be.
Of course you understand, my remarks come from the the perspective that Director Bonner didn't really want the men in the country in the first place. If they were deliberately let in and deliberately not processed (because Mrs. Davis noted that the 23 should have already been processed when she showed up to work, though she never addressed this as an issue), then it's understandable why Robert Bonner wanted Julia Davis' credibility and reputation destroyed! She was a rogue agent actually trying to protect the nation!
This woman was persecuted with 54(!) BOGUS INVESTIGATIONS! Administrative Judge Daniel Leach was the first judge to find the agency's culpability "of an egregious sort" and Judge Stephen Larson said he was "amazed at what the government is not denying in the Davis case," while Judge Virginia Phillips said, "the Court holds that a reasonable fact finder could find the extreme nature of the search and raid of the Davises' Yucca Valley home was 'not proper in the regular conduct of the proceedings'..."
"...The sum total of these facts is sufficient to allow a fact finder to infer a retaliatory or malicious motive in the execution of the search..."
"...Plaintiffs have therefore produced sufficient evidence to allow a reasonable fact finder to conclude the August 2005 search was an abuse of process." The Court dismissed all charges against the Davises and ordered the government to return all evidence from two warrantless searches of Julia Davis' residence and BJ Davis' office.
Watch this video! You will be appalled, yet overjoyed to find that there were, out of dozens of EVIL government employees, a few and especially ONE honorable female judge who would not allow the criminals who worked for Robert Bonner to have their way.
Had George Bush been an honorable man, he would have FIRED those criminals (starting with Robert Bonner) in a heartbeat and told the Justice Department to prefer charges against them all!
The combined charges of all their many crimes would have left them to die in prison, if their sentences hadn't received an order for execution, which would have been just for the four people they murdered.
The continued criminality of the DHS is more than evident by the promotions of Kaufer and Deal, men whose CONFESSED AND Proved CRIMES (in a court of Law) SHOULD HAVE PUT THEM IN PRISON FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!
It's shocking and so greatly disappointing that our government is so evil but this husband and wife team will be your heroes (if you've got a heart and any kind of scruples at all!)
You'll find this documentary to be one of your greatest video exhilarations! It's hard to call it a "feel good movie" because of the constant, grievous crimes of the many government representatives but when right wins out in the end, even after four completely unjustifiable murders by evil men in government, it is so exciting to see the one who did right get vindicated in the end!
Without question, 10 out of 10! Absolutely excellent, compelling and convincing. The details of the many crimes of Kaufer and Deal are lucid and simple in each documented and detailed explanation. There is no question why these criminal government employees did not appeal Roslyn Silver's rulings.
These guys are so guilty they should have been fired before the case was settled and U.S. Marshals should have been waiting to put them in jail the moment the case was over.
So This Is Christmas (2013)
Note the contrasts in reviews
Quite the unique film because even though (towards the end) it clearly brings a character to a life-changing decision of repentance and faith in Jesus (even exercising faith for a miracle), doing so in a clearly better fashion than most Christian films, the movie isn't "preachy," as was claimed by several reviewers who can't resist their obsessive compulsion to show their contempt for Christianity and that contempt provoked their unjustified panning of the film.
Part of the evidence for that is that I approached the movie convinced it was a Christian movie but about 4/5ths of the way through, I found myself wondering if I had drawn the wrong conclusion that it was a "Christian movie" because of the repeated use of foul language (including the "F" word) and the somewhat risqué dressing of Lexi Ainsworth, while there had as yet been *no form* of gospel message presented. (Note the contrast between my claim and those who mocked it and judge for yourself.)
That reveals the less_than_honest denigration of the movie as being "preachy."
To viciously lambaste an entire movie because one hates Christianity so much one can't stand to hear a character humble himself for the hurt and harm he's done and cry to God for forgiveness is a bit over the top.
The acting is frankly better than most Christian movies, though, of course not on par with a $30,000,000 budget and the experienced professionalism that brings. Lexi Ainsworth's acting was excellent and her performance gave a quality to the film that it would not otherwise have had, though Cassidee Vandalia also did a very fine job.
It seems this movie is geared to the unchurched/non-Christian and labeling it a "family film" was an error. Many parents would not want their young children watching this film.
Unless you despise any mention of the Lord Jesus *at all*, I don't you'll find the movie offensive at all regarding its Christian agenda. It's not overdone, regardless of the claims of the rabid atheists.
The Visual Bible: The Gospel of John (2003)
The best "Gospel" movie of them all
When I first started watching this video, I was first disappointed in the translation choice. That might seem strange to some, but I prefer the NASB as a generally more reliable translation (though not completely, of course).
Only because this Gospel movie was clearly better than any other I've even seen, I wanted to write a short review.
It was interesting because I don't even like the translation from which it comes, yet the dialog was captivating to me and so much more powerful than other gospel movies that it's exceptional and very realistic. It stands out to me every time I watch it.
If you love the Scriptures but have always been disappointed in Bible movies, I think you'll find this a remarkable exception, even if you think the King James Version is the language in which God speaks. ;-)
P.S. I Love You (2007)
Unreal passed off as Real
I like fantasy movies and I like movies that are about real life.
I have a strong dislike for movies that present themselves as being honest dramas and they throw in things totally from a fantasy realm. Give me fantasy or reality--I'm happy with either, but don't mix the two.
That's where this fails for me. Without giving anything away, this is presented as a touching drama of love and life but throws in speculative nonsense "preaching" an untrue message (whether the author is deliberately trying to deceive or just wanted to make money on a screenplay, I have no idea), and it just doesn't work for me because I know it's just phony nonsense.
No Greater Love (2010)
Very Satisfying
I have to echo asbarratt's review, yet without quite as much praise for the acting. Not that there was anything wrong with it--there isn't, but, I didn't think it really deserved a "superb" because there wasn't anything really outstanding about it. The characters are handled well, the dialog is pretty standard for a Christian movie, and I really like movies where "the good guys win" and likewise, where evil doesn't triumph.
That's the problem I have with so many movies--they simply don't represent reality when they pretend to be doing so.
I have nothing against fantasy movies and like very many of them, but injecting false paradigms in "reality" movies is very annoying to me and that's where most Hollywood movies fail and this one succeeds.
That's why I rated it so highly. Because I like movies that represent things well, and this is superb in that regard.
It is a "feel good" movie and the title is well chosen. If you love chick flicks, have a tender heart, or like happy endings, this movie is better than the current "5.6" rating it's received.
Angst (1983)
Heart , Mind, Spirit and Soul Pollution
People who watch and recommend garbage like this show how screwy and perverse their psyche is.
When I was much younger I loved horror movies and was very cognizant that they were make-believe and, of course, the special effects back then were quite poor compared to today and they rarely were as gross as today.
Just as, physically, we are what we eat, so it is with our souls. It's not good for our hearts and our minds to see, hear and meditate on vile, unclean and wicked enactments. It's defiling to the soul and spirit, just as wallowing in excrement or having sex with your neighbor's wife is defiling to the body.
Consider if you knew the future and said to your child, "Hey, there's going to be rape and murder this afternoon about four blocks from here. Let's go and watch it." Well, watching a movie of the same thing is very much like watching the real thing.
I don't know if you are aware of it but before Ted Bundy was executed, he requested that James Dobson interview him. In Dr. Dobson's videotaped interview, Bundy told why he requested Dr. Dobson and he alone to conduct the interview.
He said it was because his murderous bondage was fed and exacerbated by watching violent pornography and if he had let any other representative of the media do the interview, he was sure they would not tell the truth about what he had to say.
You should consider that... and next time you want to watch someone torture, rape, sodomize and murder people, find Ted Bundy's interview and watch the confession of a man who fulfilled his fantasies.
Bolt (2008)
Even better than Shrek
I loved this movie from start to finish. It will be an all-time favorite! Everyone loved Shrek and The Incredibles. I might like this one even more. It is absolutely as good, but even better for kids because it was completely clean, with nothing off-color, no adult humor, no disrespectful or rude kids. Shows love, loyalty and tender-heartedness.
It's such a pleasure to see a kid's movie that anyone would be comfortable showing to any kid and such a terrific movie to boot! This is one to OWN.
If only all Disney movies were this good. It seems Disney learned something from Pixar about kid's animated movies (Keep 'em clean)
10 STARS!
Jesus (1979)
Very Scripturally accurate, but rather poor acting.
The really good value in this movie is its accuracy. If you wish to research it, you'll find great effort was made to do just that in many details, though my comment is specifically referencing the dialog being accurate to the version of Scripture that was used.
The weak points are the film quality is not outstanding and much more importantly, the acting and directing leave very much to be desired.
When this was originally produced, it was hoped (and planned) that this would be the first of a long line of Biblically accurate films but the money just didn't come in and the project was eventually sold and this film became a major evangelism tools around the world. Many millions of people have seen this film and it has accomplished much good for the Gospel.
My personal opinion is that the original vision didn't succeed because of the film's glaring weaknesses and those who would have financed more endeavors didn't, because they felt those in charge simply didn't have the skills to produce the quality of films that would warrant their investment.
The Gospel of John, made in 2003, and also faithfully representing the version used, is far superior, primarily in communicating realism in the film. Every time I watch The Gospel of John, I'm moved by the actor representing Jesus. His words are so powerful, it's like Jesus Himself is really speaking. Of course this is what every movie about Jesus has wanted to accomplish and I think none does it better than "The Gospel of John." I did not like, however, the Bible version they chose to use, but nevertheless, it's a powerful presentation of God's Word and I recommend it to everyone, regardless of your opinions about Jesus. For the believer, they'll be blessed and for the scoffer, they may for the first time in their lives really perceive the very powerful claims of Jesus. This is a moving film.
I know this was supposed to be a review of Luke (and it was) but I wanted to especially point you to John, since it is, IMO, so much better in its delivery.
Bear in mind when you see voting on Christian films, you see a wide disparity because God-haters don't like the Gospel. I noticed that on this film, all who voted before I, gave it either a "10" or a "1." A perfect illustration of my point. It deserves neither extreme.
Hidden Secrets (2006)
Broken people working through issues
I agree with Pat Chris. This was probably the finest Christian film I've ever seen. I was so involved with the real life circumstances that I didn't even bother to critique the film-making.
It's real life movie making. Outstanding. I hope I see many more like it.
In hindsight, the structure of the "working out" of the issues weren't as fluid or as realistic as one would hope to see, but there's only so much time in a movie and they did what could with what they had.
I heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to see "reality" in Christian film-making yet without the unnecessary garbage of inappropriateness. I have added it to my collection.
Update:
I've seen the movie a couple more times and its weaknesses are a bit more evident, but nevertheless, the acting overall was quite good and the messages in the movie are so practical and just as importantly, it doesn't have that "lame Christian movie" look and feel that so many have.
If you relate to that moniker, and would like to watch Christian movies that are a clear step above, then I think this will not disappoint.
Another Perfect Stranger (2006)
For soft hearts
It seems to me that virtually all Christian films seem alike. I'm always conscious that all the support staff and extras are acting, and feel like the quality of production and direction simply aren't on a par with major Hollywood releases.
That said, I nevertheless appreciate the attempts to convey the genuine issues, questions and problems people have with "religion" and not only like to see how well Christian films deal with them, but very much enjoy seeing people come to an understanding of the love of God for them that is ultimately the standard message in all Christian films.
Ruby Marie Lewis did a good job in what appears to be her first acting role and I never found the movie boring but rather enjoyed it more than the movies that try to "scare" people into becoming a Christian like the "Rapture" films do.
For those who like "feel good" movies, you should like this. Don't let the God-haters that IMDb is full of sway you by their negative votes. It's a decent movie.
The Shaggy Dog (2006)
Great remake, mild spoilers
This is one of those comedies that one needs to watch without cynicism, sort of like 'The Money Pit'. For what it is, it is delightful. Clean, no bad language (that I remember), great and funny examples of Tim Allen's developing the characteristics of a dog while at the same time discovering his failures as a Dad.
It seems to me that a great number of people that contribute to IMDb don't think a movie is good unless it has at least several of the following attributes:
Attacks America, promotes immorality, violence, perverse values and is filled with profanity.
I somehow missed the rude humor (that gave it a PG rating) in the movie and think it could have gotten a G rating. It's better than most Hollywood fare for one's family and something one wouldn't mind in one's library if one cares what kind of things one's children see and hear.
This was to the original as the remake of 'Freaky Friday' was to its original -- a lot of fun that some will think is better.
