I am a big fan of Scream, so when I heard of this movie I just thought is was a riff off. But wow was I wrong. Thou the script isn't as tight as Scream it's still a good and fun watch. The tone is very gothic which I like along with the setting and music. It's plot is pretty strong as long as you don't over think it to much. The killer is pretty creative ( along with its winter coat which for some reason I oddly love thou it's really out of place ). The actors are strong along with their characters. Rebecca Gayheart is amazing, love her acting in this film. Thou I know this film has a reputation for being a Scream riff off, still give it a chance, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Really uncomfortable show

When I mean uncomfortable I mean there's a lot of cringey moments in this show, but that's but makes it so good. The premise is really strong, a couple trying to modernize an old small town. The cast is absolutely flawless, especially Emma Stone as the wife. You can literally feel what the characters are feeling in every shot and look they give. It is a slow burn of a tv show but for this kind of plot it just works and never feels forced. Now of course this show hasn't been fully released and I'm just going off the first episode, but truly I can't wait to see the rest. This is a really good show.

I had been hoping to see this movie for a very long time and I was so glad I did. This movie like Totally Killer and Happy Death Day does what it sets out to do. Taking a classic family movie and adding a great killer twist to it. The premise is something I would have never thought of, but wow did it hook me. The script is smart and kills are pretty good but do at times look a little fake. Justin Long and Jane Widdop are great in their roles and the message of the film never loses it strength. Overall this movie is a great time and for fans of Scream and Hallmark movies this is truly a classic to remember.
A fun slasher with a great hook of a mystery.

This is one of my favourite 90's movies.
The 1997 slasher is the best thing to come out of the 1996 Scream wake. It is fun and cool with a amazing ocean setting and has all the things a slasher needs. From great music to a compelling storyline this movie is a great gateway to the slasher genre. Hewitt and Gellar give amazing performances hitting every point with great emotion and life. Along with the two females leads the two male leads, Prince and Phillippe give their characters depth and light making the movie even better. The gore in this movie is toned down and very little blood is seen expect for maybe the first kill by fish hook through the throat but from that Last Summer acts more on the suspense of the scene and has some great chase scenes, not to say there aren't any good kills in this film. This movie is great and is perfect for any person new to the genre and wants to try horror.
