Retread of Misery. Although this one has an unlikable protagonist who cheats on her husband and needlessly murders a cat. Off-putting as a viewer for the villain to be the most sympathetic character.

Some interesting meta jokes thrown in here and there, but this movie really drags on. They probably could have cut 20 minutes of dead air, or Tom Waits character entirely. I guess Jim had fun making a movie with friends, but it's not worth the audience's time.

Bad Sci-fi; Good comedy

A lot of the sci-fi elements of this movie are yada-yada'd or explained with a bunch of techno-jargin to make it appear intelligent. But regardless, the CGI is ok and Keanu creates another unintentionally comedic role, which is ultimately worth watching the full movie.

Good Crazy (HDTGM-Style)

The movie is insane, and definitely not great in terms of writing, direction, set pieces, etc. However, Keanu does his best impression of Nicolas Cage (a la The Wicker Man), including an expletive-laden rant near the end that makes this comedy worth watching.
Not Worth Watching

Given the names in the cast, I expected more from this. There's nothing to like when the protagonist, to whom the audience should relate, is such a child, literally throwing a tantrum at the end. I champion independent movies being made, but this is one that could have been left on the shelf.

Warning: Spoilers
I really fell in love with this show back in the early days. The first few seasons were good, and I loved all of the interweaving story lines involved with the search for Beckett's mother's killer. However, the last couple seasons have really fallen off. The Locksat storyline was interesting, but not as good as their original underlying series storyline. And the ending to this episode (and ultimately the series overall) was way too hammy. They both get shot (assumed fatally) by an otherwise to be known dead character, which was a nice twist, but then they magically survive and have babies. It's way too cutesy of an ending for a show that had real promise in the beginning. I'm glad they ended it when they did, because the writers were obviously running on fumes.
