I love this show Mannix and watch it every night at 2am. But season 6 they changed the theme song just a little. And I missed the teaser they usually did in the beginning of the show. Well usually the ending to the show is usually good and believable in some ways. But in this episode and for the first episode of a news season. They could've made the ending a little more believable. When the bad guy jumps into the helicopter. And instead of sitting down and flying off to freedom. The director had him standing on the helicopter entrance and I could not figure out what was taking him so long to sit.

This is a kind of movie is better off not to be made into a remake. I wonder if they filmed some of the scenes in a real prison. And I was shocked to find out that the director didn't want actor Richard Widmark to play killer Tommy Udo. They really wanted the actor Richard Conte. But after watching this movie over 5 times. I can't see any other actor than Widmark playing Tommy Udo. And second it's hard to believe someone could survive getting shot with that kind of gun . Especially being hit at least 5 times at close range like Nick did. They should show this movie more often. Not once a year.

My question is in the scene when the young guy gets taken into the small gym area. Are the big guys at least 4 of them. Are they all actors or were they inmates used in the scene? I just on google and nothing can be found on them. I was just wondering if they were actors or did the director use the biggest inmates he can find for the typical scene for the movie. I saw the movie many times once in 1989 at my juvenile facility in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania by the staff members. I guess it was trying to scare us straight back than. But after watching the movie it really made you stop and think that it could happen.

If I never read the goofs or other stuff I would have never saw that little boy next to the trees. I had to go back a watch the ending over again. Funny how in these old shows you see stuff like this when it's pointed out to the viewer. But in today's shows you would never ever see that happening today. I like Mannix new car and Pegs new car they both needed an upgrade in the cars. I was wondering is that the same actor playing Toby ? Because I got this few that they used another actor to play him but I can be wrong about that. I also see the police detective is a different actor than seasons one and two.

I can't believe the actor and pilot Jim Hivklin was stalked and killed by a stalker. It was on April 2,1973 that the stalker shot Jim in front of his friends and wife in a restaurant or a go away party at a restaurant. The killer was sentenced to life in prison without parole but later died in prison. That is crazy how Jim was stalked by this guy and google didn't tell any reason why he was. He was the youngest person to become s pilot at age 14 and was a talented actor on other shows like. Mod Squad. I just wanted to know why he was stalked and by who and how long did that person do in prison?

On the Vegas tv show. It said on the Goofs you see the camera guy in the alleyway. I watch it a couple of times and there was no camera guy in it. Doesn't matter the episode is still good and so is the show. To bad it's not on more often especially on the weekends. This show was really good and to bad it wasn't on longer than it was. I was in Vegas in 1997 a lot has changed since that show. With all the construction going on in the 1980s. I was there in November and weather was good but chilly at night but ok during the day time. Wow I can't believe you need so many words just to leave a review.
