Dealing with Dad (2022)
What's the point?
This movie had some humorous elements, but honestly, overall, the message was really odd. It was really about one woman learning to live with ongoing emotional abuse from her unpleasant father who literally spends the entire movie doing nothing but being a burden, forcing his children to parent him, and finally, returning to his naturally abusive state. It seems the movie was about growing up in the face of awful parents and maybe, hopefully being okay, but being sure to remember that you cannot expect or ask your parents to treat you with any semblance of respect.
This movie misses almost every mark. It's barely funny. It's not heartwarming. There's no good ending. The father is a terrible person. That's it. They succeed despite him. That's all there is.
The Pack (2015)
I don't know...
Anything. Seriously, what was the point, any point at all, of this film?
What's so special about these dogs? These window and lock breaking dogs? How's they get that way? Why are they attacking people at night? No one wondered what was killing the sheep?!
WHY WAS THE CHILD PLAYING WITH BULLETS, MUCH LESS HIDING THEM IN ONES AND TWOS? WHY WAS THIS *NEVER* ADDRESSED OR QUESTIONED?! You'll be asking why everything was done the way it was when you watch this. It's that frighteningly banal.
Actually, Nevermind. I never actually got around to caring. Literally no character in this was interesting enough to be attached to... I never genuinely cared whether they survived or not. Their general stupidity was more infuriating than anything else in the film.
Don't waste your time on this. I have no idea how this became highly rated enough to be presented in my algorithm. I'm bitter I watched it.
Terror Eyes (2021)
Don't bother-
I'll save you the time- plot: none that made any sense at all. Characters: flat, dull, achingly stupid with one exception: Rebecca. That actress actually seemed to be able to act a little bit more than any of the others. The guy that played Danny was in another stupid social media themed film recently. He played the same character, I'm pretty sure. Somehow, this movie was worse than that one, and if you saw that one, you know it, and you know how bad both of these films are. It's like a one man effort to flood prime with the worst garbage ever. And then there are these stupid 8 star reviews that had to have been written by the guy who devised this film and like, his mom and sister or something.
No spoilers. There's nothing of substance to spoil. Don't give this crap a second of your time. If you're on the toilet, you're doing more important things than watching this movie.
