I have emotions I can't describe
20 April 2023
If you watch this movie and pay attention carefully and with good patience I believe you will make the most of it. Wonderful acting and beautiful cinematography. It came to tell use a story about a young lost boy who fell in love with a woman who's a fugitive and I believed it fulfilled it's job. No one will ever be fully satisfied by a film and it's plot, yes there are many loose ends and a very loose ending that's up to your interpretation but I think that is the beauty of it. It was a story book made into picture and it has left me with an emotion I feel down in my stomach that's indescribable. It was a good, sweet, slow story, the actors just did an amazing job. And wow, the cinematography is absolutely beautiful, I don't see movies often that are as well beautifully done as this one. I %100 recommend to watch if you have patience, because it does get slow at some points. But, in my opinion the acting and plot alone still kept me interested through the very slow scenes.

I could rewatch a thousand times
18 April 2023
I've been told so many times to watch this movie. Finally, I've watched it and I just don't know where to begin. This movie is absolutely amazing in about every way. You never expect the ending or the plot twists as you keep trying to predict what is going to eventually happen. It takes you on such a good journey of the development of the MC and it gets more interesting as you go further. Sure, the beginning was slow and boring some people have said but it was worth the entire movie. The building point just leaves you blown away, in my experience. I love how everything has been left up to the viewer's interpretation, you connect the dots and you can create your own interpretations of the ending and overall the entire meaning of the message being portrayed. This movie was an eye opener and it has done its job beautifully. Feels like throughout this movie I started second guessing myself, I got pretty confused at some points, and then later the movie %100 satisfied the confusion I had. This movie deserves the hype that it has, it truly is an amazing watch. It was naturally funny, dramatic, motivating, eye opening and definitely gore filled. The cinematography was very well done, the actors gave a great performance, and the climax was great. Feels like I'll never see a movie that could be as great as this movie did with its plot. Fight Club makes you want to change your view or perspective on things and in life in general. It focused on corporate issues, materialism, the modern slavery of man kind today and much more. Fight Club makes you want to get up and fight just to feel excitement in any miserable experience you had or going through. I will definitely rewatch this movie and I feel like the second rewatch will be even better as I recognize all the hints and connect even more dots than the first watch. A genius made this concept and executed it perfectly, nothing can really change my mind about this movie. I loved it, 11/10 I recommend if you are not sensitive to the very graphic content of gore in this movie.

Extremely Brutal&Gut Wrenching-but AMAZING!
17 April 2023
A very brutal and realistic watch. This movie is very well made and had great acting from Joe Cole. It is good to know the context before hand of the story of Billy Moore, because this is based on a real story. Even though no one throughout the entire movie spoke english to Billy the story of his struggle was told alone by his acting, it was very emotional and heart wrenching. The movie made you feel just as alone and confused Billy Moore was in a room full of people. And to those very few people who did speak english it made you feel the hope that Billy felt for those moments. I wouldn't recommend to those who can be sensitive to the realistic elements of an extremely brutal prison and that includes gore, suicide, sexual assault, addiction to drugs, etc. Every moment throughout the movie you are always wishing the best for Billy hoping he can make it and not wanting to see him fail, and feeling great empathy for him. A lot of the movie can feel like it has no context and you can get confused and have many questions so that's why I think you should read about Billy Moores story online to answer those questions. Only complaint I have is I wish they had shed some light on Billy's life before his drug addiction began again and his life in Thailand, but the ending was a good ending leading you to go online and search up your questions. Overall very well done emotional story, good cinematography, and great acting, 9/10 I recommend to watch.

The Epitome of Psychotic Male Friend Groups
17 April 2023
I personally really enjoyed this movie. It is gut wrenching as you experience the many manipulative tactics and gaslighting used by the psychopath+sociopath and his cold hearted thought process on how he viewed the world. It shows the effects of toxic masculinity, misogyny, and being a victim of psychopaths/sociopaths ways in a male friend group. Many of these elements can be put with and related with real life experiences, it shows the effect of experiencing a stranger's death to "normal" people's minds and to psychotic minds that are not socially inclined to the consequences of the real world in any social way. The symbolism of this movie is consistent and very well done, I really loved how it was presented. Those who view the symbolism may have different opinion on how it was presented, but I personally thought it wasn't over done and really added to the main story and development. Acting was also pretty well done, Finn Cole played the role of a psychotic person very well. Cinematography was good and rarely bad in moments, but does not take away from the message and story the director is making as you watch. This movie can be considered unique/different in how it shows the development of characters but in a good way. Wouldn't recommend to those who are sensitive to drug abuse, sexual assault, and graphic content. Overall great movie, made me have physical and emotional reactions with the gut cringe of the psychopaths actions, thought process, and manipulation against the MC. 9/10 I recommend watching.

Genius Movie With Deep Meanings
17 April 2023
This movie is genius in it's story telling and the very weird and confusing way it did it. Many dislike the way of how extremely weird it was but underneath all of that a deep emotional and realistic story is told based on the generational trauma of asian families. Many people can relate to the true experience of this film and the daughter's sad story. I believe you need to understand past the hot dog fingers and weird diverse realities in the multiverse to develop a love and understanding of the family's story and relationships. But you need to pay attention of the detail of each reality to also understand the mother's view on her life, just don't let the realities make you think this movie is very weird and "tries too hard to be unique". Everything in this movie is shown the way it is and happens the way it does for a reason and it all plays into the family's relationships, especially the mother and daughter. The movie can end up leaving you confused and wanting answers for the deeper meaning and so you will probably end up searching on the web and watching videos dissecting this movie, I did and I recommend it because it is nice learning more and more about the meaning and symbolism. If you don't enjoy being confused, weirded out, too many elements of a story all playing into one, and just a simple story line enjoyer then you probably shouldn't watch this movie-unless you want to change your view. I personally watched the movie twice, the first time I didn't cry, was left confused, over stimulated by the many things happening, weirded out, and mixed opinions. But, the second time I watched this movie I went in with a open mind, dissected everything that happened, interpreted many symbols, and paid great attention to the detail, then I ended up crying towards the ending as I finally understood the mother and daughter's relationship. Overall a very well made movie, beautiful and diverse cinematography and story telling, unique symbolism, and amazing acting. 9.5/10 I recommend to people with open minds and those who take every attention to detail seriously!
