Tarot (2024)
Good enough
The trailer gave a lot of giveaways but it still has a lot to offer. The deaths were good, but wish it was more gory, the acting were good, the characters were likeable and you actually feel sorry for them when it's their turn and, it isn't cliche. A lot of people are already comparing this to Final Destination and I agree, it's premise isn't new or unique but it's deaths and storylines is so new and raw, which is why I should think this should become a franchise just like Final Destination. Imagine different groups of friends discover the deck and with every kill a new monster gets added to the deck, we need more of these types of horror movies ; Likeable characters, takes an old idea and gives it a twist, decent paced, and unique monsters with every kill.
Fear the Night (2023)
I love it!
It's similar to you're next but they get to fight back this time not just the main girl.
It's kinda stupid how the invaders didn't have gun silencers but judging by the guys they are dumb so they didn't think of it.
They also underestimated the girls that's why they were
unprepared which is so satisfying to see.
I really wanted Maggie to use the axe it was just there but she only used it once.
Would've loved to see that axe in the leader's head honestly.
Speaking of leader their final fight was meh, wish it was longer and you know more action-y but i guess they couldn't do that 🤷♂️.
Final thoughts: Good. Needed more polishing.
