At least he has good taste.

Horrible movie. Who'd have thought a movie would make me wish I was watching Throw Momma From The Train. When ranking Strangers on a Train rip-offs this movie is so far below the bottom that it's in the basement.

Two guys are to murder each other's ex-wives but instead end up in sexual relationships with the ex-wives, making it difficult to pull off the murders. That sentence makes the movie sound far more intriguing than it actually is.

For a taste of just how horrible the writing is you just need to watch the scene where one of the ex-wives tells her lover/killer that she was once raped by Robert Z'Dar. His response? "At least he has good taste." No wonder she's so much in love with him.

Just no redeeming qualities here. Writing, direction, editing, acting, everything is just horrible. Not even so bad it's good. Just so bad it should never be seen by anybody.

Deep Web XXX (2018)

Just go to the web sites this movie tries to mimic

Wow. This is bad. There's no story, characters or tension. Basically this is just some dude poking around on the web viewing different "extreme" videos. So, the different "stories" are just clips of people doing supposedly weird, violent and sexual stuff.

In this movie, the guy is supposed to be on the Deep Web as the title says, but the problem is that you can easily find content much more extreme and disturbing on the web without having to go to the deep web.

So then what is the purpose of this movie? There are no characters developed to care about, no stories to capture your interest and absolutely no tension from which to derive any horror. There's just nothing here.

Unwatchable trash and not the good kind
20 March 2020
If you enjoy being able to see all the sleaze in your trashy movie then avoid this. Rather than letting the audience see and understand what is happening in this movie the director decided to shake the camera all over the place, zoom in really tight for no reason, and use more cuts than a Transformers movie. The attempt at being ultra-cool and modern is a complete failure.

A zombie movie should at least have good gore. Not here. Horrible make-up and special effects, too fake to be gory digital blood, and some of the worst green screen work mean there's no fun here for fans of zombie violence and gore.

This director was trying to be extreme and controversial but just made an incomprehensible mess that's not fun or interesting and just headache inducing. The only reason anyone could find to watch this is to see some pretty Japanese women in stereotypical Japanese costumes, but there are plenty of places to get that, so avoid this disaster.

The Sopranos: Pie-o-My (2002)
Season 4, Episode 5

More going on than just the horse.
20 January 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I'm writing this review just to try to expand on the other reviews which seem to only cover a portion of this excellent episode.

There are several interesting story lines in this mid-season episode, carrying along previous story lines and starting some new ones. Like many Sopranos episodes there's a lot going on here.

The main storyline and title of the episode of course refer to the horse that Ralph bought and is racing. This gives a great chance to see Tony and Ralph interacting with each other, which typically always ends in conflict. Plus, in the end we get to see a softer side to Tony who like many people can find more compassion for animals than people. This storyline is extremely important for this season.

There's still a lot more going on. Carmela is still worrying about the family's financial future and while Tony begs her off by saying that money is tight, he's still somehow able to find money to spend at the track.

Adriana was missing from the previous episode but shows up again here for a lot of screen time. The FBI contact her a couple of times and she's becoming very nervous about the situation especially since Tony and the guys are starting to use The Crazy Horse as a place to conduct business. By the end of the episode all of this stress pushes her into a decision that can only end in disaster.

For fans of Bobby Baccalieri this is a must-see episode. Bobby is still mourning his wife and Janice is there trying to move-in on him using her typical selfish and disgusting tactics. The best moment comes when Bobby shows that he deserved his bump in rank earlier in the season when he takes care of a job for Junior. This is the first time in the series I saw Bobby be intimidating, adding a whole new dimension to this character that has been getting deeper and more interesting with this season.

Meanwhile, Uncle Junior is on trial and provides some of the funny moments since it seems he's more concerned about the sketch artist than the jury.

A great episode with a lot more going on than just the horse, showing once again how a show can carry several story lines and several characters, developing them all superbly.
