La Brea (2021)
I do like the concept of it, but unfortunately, it's terrible. It has some of the worst acting I've ever seen.
I really wanted to give this a try, because I usually like SF movies and series. The story sounded promising on the beginning, but within the first15 min, I quickly lost interest. The idea of this sorta Science fiction drama is actually really good, but it totally fails to keep you engaged in the story, due to really bad acting, below average AI and a lame script. The cast is horrible and is trying to be politically correct by casting an all diverse group of actors and the result is just awful. It seems like the director has just graduated from an amateur film school. It's bad, really bad. Not recommended.
The White Lotus (2021)
The most boring show ever! Seriously.
Nothing is happening in this series and I mean nothing! A bunch of rich folks are so bored outta their minds, the dialogs are the worst ever, the only thing good about it is the location and scenery. I have worked next door at the Grand Wailea and it brought back a lotta memories. And yes, rich people are like that in real life. Mostly bored outta their minds.
The Batman (2022)
The worst Batman of all, hands down.
Very disappointing. I expected a lot more, but this was a 3 hour bore-fest with the movie being very dark the whole time and Batman being very depressed. Cat Woman was even worse, that mask she wore was like and old sock with a huge hole in it covering her nose, totally laughable. And the villains? Not even scary. No, this was a serious joke of a Batman movie, compared to all the others, just terrible, I kid you not.
The Groomsmen (2006)
Great "Good feel" movie.
Love this movie. Strong cast and just an all-around great picture.
Avanpost (2019)
And who did you think build the pyramids?
This isn't a movie, it's a series. And a pretty good one I must add. Something different, the Russians are definitely able to produce a great sci-fi thriller series. Very entertaining!
Doctor Sleep (2019)
Coulda been so much better
Very disappointing sequel, even though it had a few "Shines" (like the scene at the bar). Ewan MacGregor is chasing a bunch of half-zombies who prey on the steam of the shine heads. Boring!!!! And they even brought the sea of blood back for this one, but it just didn't do anything really. Overall, very disappointing.
It Chapter Two (2019)
Terrible movie, worse than the first one.
I was so disappointed after watching the first one, but this sequel is even worse. Watch the Original with Tim Curry. At least it was just a little creepy.
Killing Season (2013)
This one's a real stinker.
Boy, was this bad. Really bad. Not even DeNiro nor Travolta could save this movie. DeNiro just seemed to wanna make a quick buck with this one and Travolta's Serbian accent was unbearable. Even his hair looked completely fake. This is probably worst movie both of them have ever done in their careers, I kid you not. Just adorn watch it. It's a total waste of time.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Totally overrated. The most boring Tarantino movie ever.
Man, was I disappointed. So much hype for nothing. DiCaprio was doing a pretty good job in this, but Brad Pitt was really boring. Oscar-worthy? No way. Not even close to some of the other roles he's played before. But, that's probably not his fault. Tarantino is so full of himself and it really shows in this movie. If you look at this film as pure art form, then this might be for you (the cinematography is actually well done), but as pure entertainment like for the most of us it was an absolute bore, from beginning to end. 4 outta 10.
How It Ends (2018)
Absolute Garbage
I decided to pick this one out on Netflix, because I usually like Forest Whitaker as an actor, but even he couldn't save it and this was a really bad movie with no real ending. Just terrible.
Bird Box (2018)
Could have been so much more
It sucked, plain and simple. Every time I look at Sandra Bullock, she reminds me of Michael Jackson... after the album BAD. I don't wanna know how many facial surgeries she's already had. She looks just horrible these days plus she still can't act, sorry. Enough of her. The movie had potential to be a good movie, but when it's all set and done, it leaves you with nothing but disappointment. Even John Malkovich couldn't save it.
Aus dem Nichts (2017)
It totally sucked.
Boring as hell and a very stupid ending. A total waste of time. I used to like Akin's movies, but this one is by far his worst.
