Bullet Train (2022)
Bullet train, and I wanna watch it again
This was the one of the two best movie of 2022 sharing its spot with "all quiet on the western front" seeing Aaron Taylor again kicking ass😉 was such a good feeling, he and brad pit and every actor in this movie is just perfect.
Usually I don't make a review of a movie before I've watched it at least two times, but I'll make an exception for this film. Because of how much I enjoyed this movie.
The cinematography is beautiful, I would argue it's on par with blade runner 2049, the soundtrack is fantastic, the action kept me at the end of my seat, the comedy genuinely made me laugh. Overall I just had a fabulous time from start to end
If I had to say something I didn't like about the movie it would be the ending, they kinda squeezed in a bit much with the time that had left, but that didn't bother me too much.
If you are wondering if this movie is worth the while, I have to tell you. Yes, yes it is 101% especially if you like action and or comedy movies. Or just Brad Pitt.
After Life: Episode #1.6 (2019)
Perfect Episode
This is perfection, from the start to the end, the character development is shown so clearly and in such a good way, the music is also top notch "among the living" fits so good with this episode and it genuinely made me sob a little, I can't describe how much I enjoyed season 1, im starting on s2 right now, and if it is even half as good, it will be great.
And the montage where we see Tony make up his mistakes is amazing, such a beautiful written scene. And he finally asked out the Scottish girl. I can't say it enough, this is perfect and it changed the way I view the world 100/10 could not recommend this show enough.
Click (2006)
Came for a comedy movie, stayed for a emotional ride
I've been a fan of Adam Sandler movies since I can remember, and this might be his best movie yet, it starts of as a comedy, a good comedy, but then halfway through the movie it suddenly becomes a beautiful and emotional work of art.
I don't cry to a lot of movies only stuff like "The green mile" and "Forest Gump" but this took me on a rollercoaster of emotions, I know if it was tears of joy or sadness, but it doesn't matter since the point is that it made me rethink some options I have taken in my life.
All the actors in this movie were phenomenal, Adam Sandler is great as always.
If the only reason you don't watch this movie is because it's described as a comedy: it isn't, it's an super beautiful movie that I recommend till I die(and hopefully I don't skip to that)
Hammerharte Jungs (2023)
Gets to much hate
I think the only reason most people don't like this movie is because it's German, and that's really childish like come on it's a good movie, one of the best German ones, I mean it's not "all quiet on the western front" but cut it some slack. I feel like most people reviewing this movie is 25yrs + and they say it's a bad teen movie. As a teen myself I approve of this movie, it might be a little to much sexual activity , but I can look aside that. The main characters I did truly like they are played by good actors and they deliver them well. It was a really weird movie, but a fun time none the less.
Bridge to Terabithia (2007)
Perfection, emotional and timeless
I had heard about this movie since I was 7 and never before just now did I see it (im 14 now btw), I knew about the tragedy, but god damn it, I still managed to cry over it. The characters are so well made and I get sympathy for all of them, all the actors in this movie are so talented, and as someone that dreams of doing acting for a living, I get super inspired by everyone in this movie. The only thing negative to say about this movie is that it should have lasted longer. I see a lot of reviews from 2000s and I'm giving it the same rating as them, which means that this movie has held its own for 2 decades. And that is an achievement for a kids movie.
