Just what I needed

I would've rated this 8 but gave it a 10 to make up for the 1 star reviews. Rating it 1 star because of one actress is incredibly unfair to the rest of the actors and everyone else involved. She doesn't have a major role anyway, so you can easily still enjoy the show even if you don't like her personally or her acting.
I would love more shows like this. Sweet but also dealing with more serious subjects, easy and enjoyable to watch but also has more emotional storylines as well.
A lot of people nowadays seem to think a show is boring if it doesn't show violence and sex, but I prefer the ones that don't. There is too much horror in the world as it is, when I sit down to relax and watch tv I want to escape.
I'm not religious but I don't agree with some reviewers saying the 2nd season is too preachy. It's set in a part of the world that is quite religious but I think the way they incorporate that is natural and not at all preachy.
I also love that they have a gay couple on the show that are not very obviously gay. Not that there is anything wrong with a gay man acting more feminine, not at all, but it's refreshing to see gay characters in a drama series that have other storylines than mainly dealing with coming out as gay and dealing with prejudice.
So if you want a wholesome, comforting yet intriguing drama with some great fashion and music then give this a chance :)

The story about Kristen's character's daughter is completely ridiculous and unbelievable. Like they just tried to come up with something creepy for no apparent reason.
And the sex scene... Just, wow. I can't stand when they add lengthy sex scenes for no relevant reason. It adds nothing to the plot. I can't believe the actors sign up for it in the first place. I mean, are you actors or porn stars??

Perfect program to watch during cold January. Stunning scenery, interesting stories, and Monty is lovely to listen to as always. Me and my husband love watching this show at the weekend with a glass of prosecco, looking forward to warmer, brighter days to come.

Wonderful movie. It will make you both laugh and cry. Beautifully filmed, fantastic acting. I haven't seen Melissa or Chris in any serious roles before but they absolutely shine in this movie. It's a very sad story but there will be a lot of people who can relate. I can't personally relate, but I found it moving and in the end uplifting. It's about grief and how you can overcome it together and move on. Highly recommend this movie.

Such a beautiful movie with stunning scenery. The special effects are amazing. How lovely to watch an absolutely magical Christmas movie with a story that doesn't feel like it has been told 36 times already. Great acting, especially from the young cast. It's heart warming and fun but also has some sadness to it but it's done really really well. Can't recommend this movie enough.

Not amazing, but pleasant enough for a lazy afternoon watch at Christmas. Peter and Nick are just adorable, and James? Hello, eye candy! It was really these three that were the reason I watched the whole movie. The story is not original but that's ok, it's a cute story, it's Christmassy - sometimes a predictable movie is just what you need.
I found the family incredibly annoying as they pretty much had one line in the whole movie - "why are they not together'". It was getting irritating and tiring very quickly. It was too focused on that one storyline, they could've added more to the story.
Another reviewer said they stereotype gay people, I don't agree at all. I thought the exact opposite.

I wish there was more seasons of this! Watched a couple of episodes when it was first on, but bought the dvds recently and binged them - such a lovely show. It's light, funny, sassy, great actors and script. Love Christina Applegate and Jennifer Esposito, they are hilarious. We need more light-hearted shows like this!

I always loved the original movie but I also love this one. I will never understand why people always hate on remakes, what would be the point of making it exactly the same?!
The story is good, love the setting and the music and Octavia Spencer is just delightful. The acting is good, Anne is brilliant and her weird accent makes her character even more quirky.
I rated the movie 8 as the special effects are a little cartoonish. I would also say that if you're watching it with kids the high witch might be too scary for really young ones.
Don't listen to the grumps, just go enjoy this fun, quirky movie!

Absolutely wonderful Christmas movie. The costumes and sets are just stunning, brilliant actors and singing, the songs and choreography catchy and entertaining without being cheesy. Lovely cosy colourful movie to watch at any age.

Absolutely love this show. Great writing, interesting plot, good cast. It's thrilling and entertaining, and I can't tell you how happy I am to have a well written, interesting show to watch that doesn't have any excessive violence or rape stories.

Started out good, but this series is so overly vulgar. After the The Good Shepard episode of season 2 I simply can't watch any more, it was done in such bad taste I'm surprised the show kept going for so many seasons. Guess this is what people want to watch nowadays.
Also starts to get annoying by season 2 all the lying. Just tell them already :s

Absolutely fantastic series, I was hooked from the first episode. I have never seen Applegate in a serious role but she is brilliant, all other actors are doing a fantastic job as well. You feel interested in the characters from the very start.
It's sort of like a dark comedy/drama with a thrilling aspect. I'm very happy to have found such an interesting, dark, moody tv show that doesn't have a rape/abuse storyline - it's too much of that nowadays.

Breckenridge is so lovely in this role. Such a nice series, very enjoyable to watch. It's the perfect series to watch on a rainy day with a hot cup of coffee. Good story, good actors, beautifully filmed, gorgeous landscapes, and because you get to know a little more about the characters' backgrounds in every episode it keeps you interested. Can't wait to see more!

I absolutely loved this movie. It's beautifully filmed, the story is interesting and I didn't find it predictable. I love the actors, and they did a great job - including the little boy.
It's the perfect movie to watch in autumn/winter.
Some reviewers have mentioned the age rating, but I don't see a problem with it. I watched Scream and Jurassic Park when I was 12 so it would not have been too scary for me at that age.

We're supposed to be rooting for the main characters getting together, and see the story as romantic but it's impossible when they are not very likeable. Cusack's character spends his time trying to find this woman he met once, while he's engaged to someone else. He's an ass, not a romantic. He gets so obsessed with it he loses his temper several time, again not romantic but rather like a crazy stalker.
The dialogue is quite boring as well, all in all a very boring annoying movie.

Loved this movie so much. Love the dialogue, it feels fresh and unpredictable. It's such a heart warming story, and the actors play their roles beautifully. It's fun, charming, quirky, whimsical, colourful, relatable, it will make you laugh and cry. What a wonderful, wonderful movie.

Love this show! I absolutely love the original, but was also very excited to have a new witchy show to watch.
It's cute, fun and beautifully filmed. It has good actors, interesting characters, and plenty of witchy and supernatural stuff. What more do you need?!

I so wanted to love this, but instead I was left utterly disappointed. It pains me to say so as the original series is just wonderful.
AYITL has none of the original charm, it actually feels like it wasn't written by the same writers. The jokes are too forced, it's like they're trying to hard - it's more like sitcom humour and the jokes just fall flat. The Paul storyline isn't funny, it makes Rory look like such a jerk and she brings Lorelai and Luke down with her.
Lauren and Alexis seem very awkward in their roles, the acting is just off. They are wonderful people and actresses, so it its most probably down to the terrible script. What is up with Rory cheating again? And Logan is cheating on his fiancé with Rory. And no one, including Lorelai seem to be that bothered. The characters are such jerks in the revival you don't even care what happens.
In an old episode, Lorelai says to Sookie that if you can't talk about the important stuff then you don't have much of a marriage. In the revival, Luke and Lorelai haven't once talked about marriage or kids in the past 10 years! They were never great at communication, but come on! And the surrogacy storyline? Please... Luke's comment about sleeping with the surrogate? He is not that dumb. The scene where Paris freaks out about Tristan is ridiculous, this has literally never happened to anyone and would absolutely not happen to Paris.
The LADB scene would've been great on a completely different show, not on Gilmore Girls. It was so out of place. Clearly the writers thought, great we have free reigns and a big budget. Let's go nuts. Not respecting the original series or its viewers in the slightest. They seem to have ignored what happened in season 7 and the fact that 10 years have past, which means that a lot of things don't make sense. Lorelai's and Luke's relationship, Rory and Logan, and what happened to Rory reporting on the Obama campaign? I hope they don't make any more episodes and I'm just going to pretend like these ones never happened...

I hadn't seen this movie in a few years, but I can for sure it's just as enjoyable and relevant now.
Such a great cast. Alicia Silverstone was born to play Cher, and Brittany Murphy is adorable! Fantastic soundtrack as well.
Not much else to say; it's a fun, smart, glamorous movie with that 90's charm we all love and miss.

Yes it's predictable and a bit cheesy but that is not a negative thing when it comes to rom coms, when all you want is something fun and easy to watch.
The movie feels fresh, and the jokes new and quirky. The characters are interesting, Amy Schumer does a great job as the lead character and I love Michelle Williams - so cute and funny!
There are few "gross" jokes that they could've left out, I hate those type of jokes that aren't funny just disgusting.
All in all, an entertaining movie with lots of laughs and an uplifting and inspiring message. Definitely worth a watch!

This movie was just as good as I had hoped. Lovely story, fantastic acting without being over the top, and the dialogue felt natural. Anyone can enjoy this movie, as it's not at all cheesy as you might expect from this type of movie.
It's very moving and shares a beautiful and important message without being preachy.
I enjoyed the Dolly Parton music, and the drag queens are so much fun!

I've seen this movie so many times now. It's hilarious and inspiring all at once. Zooey is perfect in her role, as are the rest of the cast. It has a great soundtrack, it's entertaining and never gets boring, it's moving, and it inspires you to get out and enjoy the world. The humour is smart, none of that toilet humour that I detest.
I think anyone can be inspired by this movie, it's not about doing extreme things or expensive things (like learning how to fly), it's about saying yes to life and yes to opportunities. Even if it it's something small.

One of my all-time favourite feel-good movies. It has me hooked from start to finish. The story is relatable to anyone who, like me, is a dreamer. It's incredibly moving and life-affirming, you come away from this movie feeling uplifted and inspired.
The acting is great, not Oscar-winning great but it doesn't need to be. The soundtrack is stunning, it complements the movie perfectly.
It's beautifully filmed and the scenery is gorgeous. I could just watch this movie over and over :)
