As someone wrote: "Reba McEntire may be known the world over as the Queen of Country Music", I haven't heard about "Reba" before in my life... And I'm probably not the only one outside the U.S... Didn't know she was a Country-musician, either... Well, anyway, the Reba show, isn't quite as funny as I thought it would be. The network here in Denmark hyped it to be "the show of the century", so I watched the first episode. Can't say it "hit the spot", far from! I mean, if someone is so deeply religious as that Barbra Jean is, shouldn't she think all that she done is wrong? I know it's only a TV-show, but low can you go?
The writing for this show offends me, I think it's possible to write something better than this... But the acting is good, it's just the humour behind all this, I don't understand. Why is it funny when someone you love cheats on you and why make a TV show out of it? This sounds more like a cry for help, instead of a Sitcom... It raises more questions, than it entertains... That's what I think...
