Lego Masters Australia: Castles and Cannonballs (2021)
GET RID OF BRICK OF DOOM BULL$HIT
This Brick of doom is bull$hit. Then you go and have a NON professional bowler throw some bull$hit balls. Never once did he hit the center. Your added curves on the lane didn't even push it to the center. Make the competition fair. You're gonna lose viewers with all these antics and bull$hit.
You can see it in contestants face that they aren't happy with this brick of doom $hit either. And then Hamish goes and adds to their five minute delay by talking to them after it's up and interrupts their discussions on what they want to make. It's like you guys decided at the end "oh $hit we cast someone we didn't want to, how do we get rid of the faster"
Just makes the show feel gross.
Bros (2022)
Singing in the shower ...
I am not usually a fan of Billy Eichner and his normal shtick of being the angry gay guy. My husband asked me to watch this with him and I begrudgingly said yes.
Within ten minutes I was sucked in and realized this time I was wrong. Is this movie perfect? No, but this movie has heart and shows gay love without it being just about sex, death or hatred. It shows it as normal, which it is. It shows the truth, the awkwardness and the regular life of a gay relationship. This film is not exactly my story, which is part of the point of the movie. None of us are exactly the same. We are different and that's okay. Even with all that it's closer than any movie has ever been in my opinion.
Also I had no clue that Billy Eichner could sing. Definitely surprised by that. The song he sang at the end had me getting big eyes. I butched up and held back the tears. 😉
Thank you Billy. Big hugz!
Physical: Let's Agree to Disagree (2021)
Typical lazy writing
Get an original idea! Storyline of bringing in an annoying character, i.e. Jerry Goldman, and then have everyone ignore it and not have any backbone to say anything. LAME!
Superstore: All Sales Final (2021)
Really!
Bawling! I have always liked this show, but there were episodes where I wanted to throat punch some of the characters. This reminded me of all the reasons I enjoyed the show. Garrets ending sign off put me in tears! Thank you!
Superstore: Ground Rules (2021)
Episode 2 of me hating almost everyone, especially Sandra
Seriously don't understand what's going on, but I am hating almost everyone. Usually dislike Dina, but she is supposed to be disliked. Now I am enjoying her and disliking everyone else!
Wendy Williams: What a Mess! (2021)
Nothing is her fault!
How does a person say, they don't regret anything bc it's all made them the person they are and then turn around and say EVERYTHING is someone else's fault.
SMH, WHAT A MESS is very accurate!
Mary Tyler Moore: Mary's Insomnia (1976)
Ridiculous addiction episode
These pill addiction episodes of 70's and 80's shows are ridiculous. How the eff is it Lou's business to treat her like a child. The whole episode made me very angry.
Voltron: Legendary Defender: Reunion (2017)
One of the better episodes lately!
I'm really enjoying the series, but sometimes I struggle to stay engaged as they can be slow. This episode had me drawn in the entire time!
The World's Most Extraordinary Homes: Forest (2017)
Love this show, but this episode...
Did you forget to do any dialogue editing in this episode? I haven't noticed it in any of the other episodes, but it's painful to listen to all the hissing noise when some uses a word with an "S". OMG! It's painful!
The Birds (1963)
Melodramatic, not scary, bad acting/directing
I've never seen it before and was expecting it to be amazing and scary. My favorite movie is Rear Window, so I know I like his movies, but this was ridiculous and not at all scary. The beginning was exhausting and too much setup. The acting was melodramatic and we literally laughed at times.
The writing was horrible and forced. The worst was probably when, near the end of the movie, Melanie (Tippi Hedron) was sitting on the couch curling up into a ball because they here the birds trying to get into the house. Just seemed like either bad acting or bad direction by Hitchcock. I'm gonna guess bad direction because Tippi was a fairly good actress through most of the movie.
Oh and the scene where she is attacked in the room! Why would you go in there and then when you're in there getting attacked, why wouldn't you scream?
Ugh! Sorry the whole movie annoyed me! Don't waste your time.
The Grudge (2004)
HORRIBLE
This has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I understand that this is a remake of a Japanese film, but either that story sucked or they remade it so bad that they should be fired. There are so many things that never got explained and it was so slow that I was about to go crazy. Other than the occasionally points in the movie that make you jump, there is really nothing that is scary at all. My other problem is how did Sarah Michelle Gellar get this role, she is horrible. KaDee Strickland who played Susan was awesome and they gave her crap to work with as a role. Due to this film I have now decided I will NEVER go see a Sarah Michelle Gellar film again. I know she is a name and can bring the studios money, but come on so can any pretty blond girl in Hollywood. PLEASE do not waste your money and see this film.
