Normally I would start with all the things that are Wrong about a movie of which I can't quite make my mind up. This Time I'll start with some positive notes:

The story is in somewhat interesting which means there is a normal build up towards the end of the movie. which is quite welcoming seeing a lot of over the top movies out there.

of course they have chosen a beautiful woman to play wonder woman which gives the eye something to watch.

there are some interesting training scenes and a nice battle (with modern view ) on the amazonian beach.

To be honest that's about all the positive information I can give you.

Visual effects, OK the horror the WWI is portrait a little bit.

Acting, all visual stunning and trying to portrait the horror gets nullified by the inability of our Wonder Woman to show any real emotions. OK she does say this is terrible we have to do something. (but emotional, eeuh sorry no), Please take some additional acting lessons.

CGI well if you take the CGI of 1997 Starship troopers with this one well let's just say when a fight starts so does the CGI, all this talk about Gal training hard for this movie. Well I could only see computerized animations of a woman who could do just about anything but fly (well she does come close)

With regards to the story line, it simply has too many flaws. How nice would it have been if the makers would have stayed true to the original story that Diana had to beat all amazonian warriors in a contest to be allowed to help our stranded pilot and enter the "Great War". in stead she sneaks out. (sorry mum I have to go)

We have a beach scene where rowboats full of Germans Arrive, OK they are defeated, but what about the battleships from where they came?

Our flight boy (US) (Spy) seems to be allowed in a room with all major players on the allied side (a bit odd isn't it) he even get's his orders from a UK superior..

Oh there is a moment at which they are in no-mans land, and wonderwoman just crosses the field.. walks through gas clouds (oh yeah she's a god all off a sudden)

Most laughable item is actually when the attack an occupied village, of course they save the village, and our hero, just picks up the phone in a local bakery and dials London, REALLY I kid you not!! it's 1911, let alone that no German army would allow any landlines to exist directly to London. In WW2 the resistance had short wave radios but come on..

Oh another thing, the village was just near a castle where all high officials of Germany are attending a feast. REALLY, when the village had just fallen, where are the reinforcements, only 2 guards at the castle..

Let alone a drunk Scott who's supposed to be an amazing sharp shooter, as if..

One last thing, our male hero, had 2 opportunities to kill dr Poison in stead he tries to woo her.. (yeah really, oh he gets interrupted by wonder woman)

I'm sorry was Able to watch the movie without leaving just because I was still interested in the ending, Hence still the 5..

But A Wise Word to All, Please Please go see the original Wonderwoman series airing from 1975 with Lynda Carter, really it's a lot better

All, who comment and give bad credits because of the special effects, Remember it was mid 90's, CGI had just about been discovered, and in no way can it be compared with the CGI of present day.

Although I have seen a lot of current films that have CGI that is worse (even blockbusters)

The acting wasn't great, but it was made up by the story

I loved the ending, as usual we always believe the Aliens are the bad guys, but what if all the attacks were originally provoked by an act of the human race.

Kind of made me think of the movie "My stepmother is an Alien", where a scientist accidentally (while trying to communicate with other species) brings an unbalance to another planet making them think it's an attack.

But actually in this show Earth was warned before..

Don't let this plot ending keep you from watching, I was about 18 when the show was aired I enjoyed it, though It would have been nice to have a 2nd season, which actually pre-dates this shows era. Would be awesome to see how that would turn out. Ignorant Humans who think they own the galaxy etc..

All in All, a Japanese SCI-FI movie I missed and have just seen the other day.

in a few words, A lot better than the US SCI-FI blockbuster movies. It holds up on character and justified Special effects, instead of just large explosions and continuous endings..

So what did I like the most, - The story-line is close to the original Anime. - Overall structure and setup - Quite good Special effects seen the budget. - taking story which pulls you in to the movie.

dislikes - Battle for Iskandar a bit over the top, why need one fighter to avoid mines if you can blast your way through? - Skeletoncrew of 36 is illogical towards the original and reality, 36 men to operate an incredibly large spaceship?? and have fighter squadrons? - though the original series had a lot men, several fighter squadrons etc.. - Iskandar explanation is odd one barren side and one flourishing side.. - If they can fix earth just with their minds, why can't they fix their own planet?

Putting that aside.. A very watchable SCI-FI movie that brings back memories of Starblazers.. (sorry I watched the English versions) , even so that I had to watch the original series again..

As a response to all those who are claiming this movie to be a 10.

I just couldn't bear to not vote.

This movie was 3 times worse than the Mad Max Thunderdome movie with Tina Turner.

It just does not add up.

Really, in any Mad Max movie there has been a shortage of Fuel, and now all of a sudden, there's plenty of it? The shortage has changed it is now water that everybody seeks after, but why would you not flee with a enough water.

no instead they flee the rock city with nothing to seek out a mystical environment. only to find it poisoned beyond repair.

But somehow there are about 5 old lady's who have survived without water, food or any other supplies and they drive back to a place they were running from. "Really"??

As for the good comments on the action, (as some claim that this would be worth the 10 rating). I know everyone under the age of 20 has been brought up with inconsistent explosions and or over the top objects. well you'll miss then also in this movie. Which could have been a welcome change, were it not one complete incomprehensible unsupporting set to the movie itself

Really it just doesn't fit the movie. I was glad to have watched it on a plane and not in the theater.

Advice to all, go and watch the original Mad Max movie. Yes I said Movie and not Movies. As any followup movie in the franchise just messed up the original..

If you are going to watch this movie, mark my words. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

As with all comedies you will know from the first 5 minutes who will end up with whom.

This movies is filled with nice features like flash mob action, but basically this movie is slow paced, not worth watching.

I was watching this movie with my girlfriend, after 20 min she asked me If we could please leave the theater. And we did, we went out to watch another movie.

Mila, you were funny in that 70's show, but Justin is bringing the worst out of you.

Justin was even more boring then he was in Bad teacher, As I quote not worth watching

To be honest, I did not expect anything from this movie especially after finding out it lasts less than 90 minutes.

If you are to expect the story of the original dragonball series, having bulma find Goku at age 10 after the death of his grandpa.

You will be astounded, this movie starts with Goku going to Highschool at age 18. Originally Goku never had any studies and had never seen other humans except for his "grandpa".

More faults in the movie would seem that piccolo sent ouzarou to the earth. Which again is a huge mistake.

If any of you expect to have the story told as it should do not go to this movie. I mean, I can understand that they are not able to put the full story into a movie, but I think the early DB series would give enough action to at least start at the beginning. the story about the Redribbon army would have done nicely.

So I you are curious wait till the DVD comes out within a quarter of the year the price would be 5 dollars. of euro's whichever country you reside.
