Chicken Little (2005)
Movie #20
Chicken Little/O Galinho Chicken Little (2005) Film #20
Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur criticisms with it.
This is the twentieth film that I have watched on this profile and reviewed. I watched this film several times in my childhood, but I didn't remember almost anything, except that the sky is falling and the song "Eu Sou o Champion dos Mané".
Maybe because I have fond memories and nostalgia, maybe I like it more than people who didn't watch it as children.
It's a fun and good film.
I don't know if the Brazilian dubbing influences this, but many Brazilians love this animation, the dubbing is always perfect.

This is the nineteenth film that I watch on this profile and review.
This was the first time I watched this film and what a bad and boring film it was.
There are films that are based only on plot, music, captivating and charismatic characters and there is this film that was only limited to graphics.
And this is the worst thing to limit yourself to because graphics are always surpassable, in 50 years the graphics of today (2024) that we see and think will never be surpassed but always will be. Nothing about this film is good.
Characters are not charismatic and much less funny, the journey is boring (I often lost focus because it was very boring), no memorable moments and a completely forgettable soundtrack. I swear, I watched this movie no more than 5 minutes ago and I can't remember the soundtrack, any memorable moments or even the names of the characters and that's horrible.
I know that the 2000s were a very difficult decade for Walt Disney Animation Studios films, but this one is the most forgettable for me, and I say more, the most forgettable until you get to the Walt Disney Animation Studios animations from the 1990s and 2000s. , 2010 and even 2020 which is not over yet.
Without a doubt, it is among the worst films from this studio, along with the War Era films, the two Fantasia films (Fantasia 1940 and Fantasia 2000) and The Magic Cauldron.
I'm still going to review both of them (unfortunately) and make some good-natured criticisms.

Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur criticisms with it. This is my tenth and eighth film that I watch on this profile and review. I had already seen this film and it is one of my favorites from Sony. Everything about it works, the great, well-balanced humor, the story, the totally captivating characters. Here in Brazil, "Zing" became "Tchan" and I use it a lot in my daily life and I've seen people using it too.

This is the seventeenth film I watch on this profile and review.
I had also seen this film a long time ago, and it was always the worst in the franchise for me. Even though the second one is a blatant copy of Disney's Lion King, it's still funny, but in this third film there are very few times that I laughed.
The first film is by far the best in the franchise and in a way, it didn't even need to have a sequel but there was.
The biggest mistake in the second film of putting a birthmark on Alex out of nowhere is that in addition to not having this mark in any scene in the first film. In this third film, there are scenes where the brand simply disappears.
For example, there are times when Alex has his hand open and the mark doesn't appear and it cuts to another character and goes back to Alex and the mark magically appears (Same scene).
This is so amateurish, if they didn't know how to do 100% continuity then it would be better not to have invented this brand from scratch.

This is the sixteenth film I have watched on this profile and reviewed.
I had already watched this film when I was a teenager, I watched it a lot.
The Brazilian dubbing of King Julien with Guilherme Briggs is classic, it elevates the film's good humor to infinity.
It's the best thing about the film, without a doubt.
I like Moto Moto too, especially his first song.
It's very, very similar to Disney's Lion King script.

This is the fifteenth film I've watched on this profile and I had already watched it when I was a teenager but it was a long time ago.
It's a fun film, as much as you can see the similarity between Shrek/Boog, Donkey/Elliot, they don't come close to the genius that that duo is.
Some jokes work, the story is cool.
Only that.

Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur criticisms with it. This is the fourteenth film I have watched on this profile and I analyze it with this.
I watched this film a lot when I was a teenager.
I love King Julien so much, Guilherme Briggs' iconic voice in the Brazilian dubbing gave the character a funnier look. Like a Move is wonderful.
There are several iconic scenes with all the characters but I always prefer the scenes involving King Julien, they are all very funny.

This is the thirteenth I've watched on this profile, I had already seen this film once, but it was a long time ago and I didn't remember anything about it.
It's a very different animation from what I'm used to watching, and I'm not just talking about the graphics and also the narrative, there's no comic relief in the entire film.
I'm used to Disney/Pixar/DreamWorks animations and this film is very different.
I didn't like the beginning and middle of the film, I started to like it the moment the Sheriff rescues the White Fang and goes home.
The interaction between the White Fang and the Sheriff's wife was really cool to watch, but this interaction took less than 30 minutes and the rest is just suffering.

This is the twelfth film I have watched on this profile and reviewed.
I had seen this film before, a long time ago, and I have a fun fact for you.
I had downloaded this film in mid-2019, I didn't know anything about this film, then I saw this song at the beginning and I blindly thought it was a Disney-style musical film, so I called my mother to watch it. We watched everything that day, it was the most embarrassing 90 minutes of my life but the film is very funny.
The criticism of this film towards religious fanatics who believe blindly is wonderful.
The worst thing is people complaining that they took their children to watch it thinking it was a cartoon.
Guys, it's a cartoon but it's for adults, there's an age rating for it.

Shrek The Third/Shrek Terceiro (2007) Movie #11
Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur criticisms with it. This is the eleventh film I've watched.
Obviously I had already watched this film before, however, I have a funny curiosity (or not) that happened to me in relation to this film in my childhood. I watched this third film, in my childhood, before Shrek 2, so I didn't know who Enchanted's mother was when he cried in the mirror, whether she was someone important or not, and that kept me thinking about it until I watched the second one. Film. It's been a while since I watched this third one, normally I only watch the first two without compromise because I prefer them more than the third and fourth films.
Shrek the Third reduced the comic tone and jokes too much and this is a shock because the best thing about Shrek are the jokes.
My favorite part of this film is the Girl Power moment, where the princesses are gathered, especially Snow White singing and the animals attacking the guards.
The worst part for me was Arthur's journey itself. It's very boring and the Arthur of the universe is not an interesting character.

Ballerina/A Bailarina (2016) Film #10
Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur criticisms with it. This is the tenth film I've watched on this profile and reviewed. I had seen this film a long time ago, but I didn't remember a lot of things. One of the things I didn't like in the Brazilian version is that the protagonist's Brazilian star talent dubbed it very poorly. I didn't remember it being poorly dubbed, but it's only the protagonist who had this misfortune. It's a very good film, it has a beautiful message about not giving up on your dreams. The villain's resemblance to Lady Tremaine from Cinderella is great, right? I found the third act, on top of the statue, very strange, they were focusing on realism and then out of nowhere they are flying.

Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur reviews. This is the ninth film I've watched and criticized on this profile. I remember only watching this film once but I remembered almost nothing about it, except that it was very childish. I confess that I was positively surprised by this film. Until the middle of the film I was going to give it a 6 but then the third act of this film arrived. First, in the part where the protagonist meets her mother, my eyes were watering but I managed to control myself and not cry, but when the ship supposedly smash Oh, I confess that I cried even though I knew nothing would happen to him since he is one of the protagonists and It's a very childish drawing.

Rango (2011) Movie #8
Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur reviews. I had never seen this film, obviously I had heard about it, because it won an Oscar but I never watched it. It's the eighth film I've watched on my journey. It's a very interesting and funny film, it has very realistic animation that if I had watched it as a child I would have been very scared. The character Rango is a very funny and clumsy character. I remember playing the game from this movie back in the Xbox 360 days when I was a teenager, but I don't remember if the story is the same, and I think I did 1000g but I don't even remember which profile I played. The villains in this film are very good and scary (although even the good ones are scary due to the animation).

The Croods 2: A New Age/ Os Croods 2: Uma Nova Era (2020) Film #7
Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur criticisms. This is the seventh film I've watched and analyzed on this profile, but it's the first on this profile that I've never watched. So, I just watched the first Croods movie and I much preferred the first one. It seems like they reset all the developments in the first film, even Guy is annoying in this film. It's much more childish. Excessive slow motion for no apparent reason. So I don't complain, I really liked the new character Aurora. And the mini plot twist between them. At first glance, it seems like there's going to be a fight for Guy's heart, but in reality they've become best friends, and that's wonderful. But that's all that's cool about the film. I gave it a 5 because of the characters that, even when reset, are still wonderful.

Movie #6
The Croods (2013) Movie #6
Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur reviews. This is the sixth film I have watched and analyzed on this profile. I remember watching this film only once and I remembered few things about it. The film portrays the Myth of the Cave very didactically. I believe that adults who idolize the old generations and hate the current generation will not like the protagonist Eep and will see themselves in her father. I'm from 1996 and I always let myself enjoy and learn new things. The Croods family was not living but surviving. Look what a wonderful world they missed the chance to explore because of fear. A good thing about his father is that he was never selfish or self-centered. He always put the family's well-being above his own. But because of his stubbornness, his entire family lost their chance to live. The third act of this film is wonderful. He has two heroic acts at the end. First he saves his family even though he thought he wouldn't survive. And the second when he saves himself and some animals. It took him a while to adapt to this new world but when he gave this world a chance, he loved it.

Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur reviews. This is the fifth film I've watched in this marathon and I've already watched it before. I remember the first time I watched this, I don't remember if it was on TV Globo or SBT, but I remember that even though I was an adult at that time, I fell in love with this film. I remember the first time I saw Spirit's jump scene at the end of the film and being very apprehensive, and loving that Spirit had gained the Colonel's respect. The soundtrack for this film is wonderful, no song is forgettable. Beautiful film, captivating characters and very good story.

Barnyard/ O Segredo dos Animais (2006) Film #4
Continuing my journey of watching films and making amateur reviews. This film is the fourth film on my journey that I have watched. I'm from 1996 and I remember watching this film many times in my childhood, however, it had been a long time since I watched it and I remembered few things, I didn't remember anything about the third act of the film. Things I remembered from this movie are Boi Ben's music and them picking up the pizzas with their fake arms and they continue to be the best scenes in the movie. I even found the negative rating average on this site strange, because it's very funny, it didn't deserve an average of 8 or more, but an average of 6 I think it would do. I believe that two factors make this average lower. The disbelief factor , how much you can get hooked in the film, even though there is an ox with breasts and oxen driving a car and motorcycle. And also, because I'm Brazilian, I believe that the Brazilian dubbing helps me enjoy and find this film funnier.

Shrek 2 (2004) Movie #3
Continuing my journey of watching films, this is the third film that I watch on this profile and making amateur criticisms with it, and as I said in my review of Shrek (2001), this second film is my favorite animated film. It's simply perfect, it has my favorite Dreamworks villain (Fairy Godmother), super funny jokes every second, an impeccable soundtrack, especially the song that Fairy Godmother sings at the end. The characters added to this film are wonderful and iconic, specifically Fairy Godmother and Puss in Boots. My favorite moments in this film are Donkey at the beginning constantly asking "are we there yet?", Shrek saying "maybe it doesn't work on donkeys" because the potion doesn't have an immediate effect on Donkey and especially the uncomfortable but very funny scene with dinner between King Harold, Shrek and family.

Shrek (2001) - Movie #2
Continuing my journey of watching various films and making amateur reviews, this will be the second film that I will do this. Obviously this isn't the first time I've watched this film. This film is iconic. I'm from 1996, so I grew up watching this movie and sequels. I will remember several lines from this film throughout my life, such as: "Onions have layers", "Better on the outside than on the inside" and many others. It's my second favorite animated film, second only to Shrek 2, which will be my second favorite film. Wonderful characters, specifically Shrek himself, Fiona, Lord Farquaad and obviously the best of all, Donkey. The message this film sends to us is something wonderful. And now I'm going to watch the next one. "And are we there yet?"

Starting my journey of watching films and making some amateur criticisms along the way. This is the first film that I watch on this profile, I chose so that the first three films are films that I have watched before and that I am sure the rating is 10/10. In other words, this isn't the first time I've watched this film. It's a very funny, entertaining film with a great message behind it that can be ignored by less attentive people. I'm Brazilian and the Brazilian dubbing is simply wonderful, especially Leandro Hassum who voiced Gru, but everyone is wonderful in their roles. All the characters are funny and captivating, especially Gru, Margo, Edith, Agnes and Victor ops VEEEECTOR. Even Gru's mother, who is rude to him, can be funny. It's simply wonderful, it's already a classic for me.
