No not really. This show used to be so good. Now there are paid reviewers or bots that apparently really like it so there is that.....

EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER on the show is completely different than what they were when I enjoyed the show. Daryl is weak, Carol is weak. Michonne is weak. Negan is ........well weak. There is no Rick to lead and the other good characters have left the show. Characters like Eugene show up for all of a two minute scene. Why even have him on the show? Oh and Eugene's character now too is completely different than it used to be. Is Rosita even on the show anymore? Serious question.
There is too much talking and the dialogue is not very well written. Even good action scenes would cover up the mediocre writing but there is no action as in previous years.

Just watched Episode 1-1 after watching all 9 seasons currently out.

This is great television!!!! How did this great show decline into what it is currently after 9 seasons? I remember how I used to sit at my desk at work and think about how I couldn't wait to go home and watch Walking Dead. Now I watch out of a sense of obligation because I have to see it through. I just might watch these first seasons all over again.......
