American Horror Story: Chapter 10 (2016)
I don't understand the low rating
I binged the entire season today, and was surprised how much I enjoyed the last episode given the fact that it was the rated the lowest of the season. It becomes increasingly clear that the truth about the house and the property is going to go on, continuing to not be believed as anyone and everyone who goes there (media, police, probably army too if they tried) will not make it out alive and if they did, the world would not believe them. The final scene of the episode really draws this idea home and gave me shivers, as the butchers crowd is approaching the emergency services and media who are at the house.
100% Hotter (2016)
Recast please
I'm pretty sure Grace's glasses have no lenses in them, I'm not sure what statement she's trying to make with that. The three of them can be quite unkind at times, though the end of each episode where Grace reveals the person to themselves is the most cringeworthy part of each ep. I wish they would try a similar approach to that of the Fab 5 from Queer Eye. Would be a much nicer show to watch.
The Vow (2012)
Deeper than I expected, I recommend it
I guess I expected a fluffy chick flick when I looked at this, but the story was a lot deeper that I thought it would be.
I really felt for Channing Tatum's (Leo) character, going through what he does. The ending that one could have assumed would occur is that Paige's (Rachel McAdams) memory would miraculously return and that Paige and Leo would go on with their married life happily, where it left off. It was refreshing to have a different take on happily ever after.
The film makes you think about the different kind of loss; having someone you love forget who you are completely and treat you like a stranger. I'm pretty sure I did shed a tear or two.. Definitely worth watching if you like romantic drama!
Gone (2012)
I enjoyed it
I watched this film last night and enjoyed it. I found it very thrilling and intense and needed to know the end. A few scenes and story lines didn't seem relevant to me, especially after watching it; I thought to myself "why did they even include that? I don't see the relevance of this to the story at all." In particular Det. Hood; he began to try and get close to the case but that storyline didn't really stick and fizzled out rather quickly.
Looking back, I thought Amanda gave a very strong performance, the strongest I've seen her do.
I recommend watching for yourself before judging!
