Under the Umbrella Tree (1986)
My favorite nostalgic show...
I was watching this since I was born. I remember watching it when I was three and recently I had a dream and I kept thinking of the name 'Iggy the Igauna'. I was asking my family about old tv shows and they mentioned this was one of my favorites so when I found the entry for this show and the characters-it just proves how good things are always with you. I really wish I could see this show again-I miss alot of TV from when I was younger. I loved this show soooooo much though!
Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990)
Loved this!
I remember coming home from school on chilly, sunny fall days and turning the tv on with some oreos and watching this show until the news came on at six. My all time favorite episode though was the one with the man from the hidden pool. As a teenager I still get creeped out around deep water lol.
Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999)
This was excellent!
***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It was sooo funny. This appeals to teenagers mostly because it is teaching a teacher a lesson thus some adults think they are perfect meaning all their bad reviews weren't really true because there weren't any teenagers or young adults judging. This reminded me of a few bad teachers I had. When Leigh Ann got a bad grade on a really good history project it reminded me of how my history teacher ALSO gave me an unfair grade on an awesome project too. It started getting funny as soon as they went to Mrs.Tingle's house late one night to plea for better grades. Leigh Ann,Luke and Jo Lynn end up inside her house and corner Mrs.T into a wall by threatening her w/ a bow and arrow. She ends up unconcious, and the house becomes destroyed(literally). The 3 friends end up tying her to her own bed and hold her captive a few days. She manipulates all three of their minds but in the end they pull through. The part w/ Spanky and the pictures was one of the best but I think the funniest was when they undid a few buttons on Mrs.T's shirt for the blackmail pic of her and spanky and they reveal a velour and leather, strapless bra for Spanky's pleasure. You never think about teachers personal lives until then really and then the humor sets in. Teachers are human beings too I guess-lol! This was a great laugh but some of the material is a little vulgar and exposing so it might be better for kids 11 and up probably. Watch it!!! This movie ROX!!!!!!!
Max Keeble's Big Move (2001)
Terrific
Max Keeble's Big Move was an excellent movie! I thought it was very funny and that even though some people cannot relate to him,it still appeals to all ages. At my movie theater when it first came out,it was really hard to get tickets. High school and middle schoolers were in line too. The movie and the school it was taken in,relate very much to my middle school here. I just don't know what else to say but that I loved it.
Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2001)
I really enjoyed it!
When my younger siblings asked to buy this everyone jumped at the idea. It was a funny (very)movie and little kids do like it. A friend older than me also saw it and commented "This is terrific! I (laughing) love (more laughing) this!" My friend watched it two more times that night. I also think the animations are terrific. But the parts of Jimmy and the gang in space with no oxygen, sort of made the movie seem a little unrealistic.
Scary Movie 2 (2001)
I adore this video.
I absolutely adore this movie. Its on my "fave" list. I know it has some pretty sick humor and many parts not crucial to the story, but I still liked it a lot. I liked the music a lot too. The beginning was probably the funniest. The priest dude totally throws everyone off on what he's doing.
Thir13en Ghosts (2001)
Horror Film of the year!
I watched this movie in a so called "haunted house". It really creeped me out and scary. I don't freak out that much about horror films but this was pretty good. The ghosts and effects were excellent and the ghosts were another story! I just have to say that this is a great horror film.
The Glass House (2001)
Awesome!
I loved "The Glass House" so much I went out and bought it! I loved the house because it made the whole movie alittle scarier and lestened the places the kids would have to hide. The end was the most freakiest because Terry, well lets just say he resembles a zombie more than ever. I Loved THIS!
