Ripley (2024)
Kind of drab, dreary, and implausible
The thing that bugged me the most other than Tom's constant sulking was the fact that no one thought to look at photos of Dickie to see if that was really him. Sure, things were different back then, but they still had photographs.
The investigator was so stupid, he didn't even notice that Tom had a wig on. Why didn't one person even think that Tom might have been impersonating Dickie? Also, what was up with the black detective from NYC who was familiar with Tom's grifting ways? He just overlooked that?
I agree with some others who have said this adaptation was lacking in any chemistry between Tom and Dickie. I saw none. Tom just seemed sexless.
Licorice Pizza (2021)
Boring
I found this movie very boring and was surprised by the critics' rave reviews. I stopped watching at around 40 minutes. Glad I didn't go to the theater to see it. I thought the two leads were miscast.
He's All That (2021)
Good, light film
I was surprised that so many people think Addison Rae can't act. I thought she did as good of a job as any of the other actors. Maybe people are jealous. Immature audience?
I personally liked it enough to watch it in one sitting. It was entertaining.
David and Olivia? (2018)
Fun to watch
I wish there were more episodes. Good acting and good plot. There seems to be a lot of material for a funny sitcom. It'd be nice to see them move in together.
