Fired Up! (2009)
8/10
one of the funniest stupid movies ever.
20 February 2010
first off, this is no monty python comedy. this is your standard modern comedy with a sub par storyline putting two people in an uncomfortable position and seeing the hilarity that ensues. this is not a thinking man's comedy. this is a "watch if you wanna quote a movie for years to come with your friends" comedy. i was skeptical at first because from the trailer, the movie just looks stupid. but a friend of mine said he went and saw it, expecting to sleep through it, and loved it. so i watched it, and i agree. the one liners are great, eric Christian olsen is hilarious as his usual lovable stoner character, and will gluck (who did the short lived series "the loop," also hilarious) does a great job at directing this comedy. only reason it's not a ten is because it's pretty easily predictable, but hilarious nonetheless. if you're a fan of stupid humor, or the series will gluck's "the loop" you'll love this.

this is the worst movie i've ever seen.

and i'm not exaggerating. there is no plot whatsoever all it is is a bunch of stupid parodies on pop culture that aren't even funny. the only people laughing in the theater when i saw it were kids that were 13 and under.

please, i'm begging you, jason friedberg and aaron seltzer. if you read this, get it through your heads that the steamy piles of crap that you keep producing are not funny.

stop making movies, buy a house with the money you've made, and never come out again.

everything you guys make is garbage.

The Happening (2008)
10/10
contrary to some reviews, this movie was brilliant.

M. Night Shyamalan does it again. this movie is such a solid thriller.

it makes you think about life and the possibility of things that might happen.

it's a roller coaster ride from start to finish and i would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Shyamalan style of movies with twists galore and enough suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat through out the whole movie.

This was more like Shyamalan's sixth sense/unbreakable style movies as opposed to the more family styled lady in the water type movies.

this is definitely a movie you should see in theaters.

ten out of ten.

i can't wait for Shyamalan's next film.
