Rats (2003)
so bad it's good
Well, a film with this title should make you think twice before you consider watching it. And this one certainly lives up to that prediction.
The acting is acceptable, the plot is absolutely awful and the special effects (the creatures) are .... well, funny is the word that jumps into my head right now, they are terribly fake, but then what did you expect from a low-budget monstermovie. Honestly, i should admit that this movie is so bad that you might actually like it if you're a fan of monstermovies.
It (1990)
absolutely terrifying
When i saw the first part of IT several years ago, it was the first film i've never seen completely because i was too scared. I've never dared to watch the second part. Years later i decided to read the book so i would finally know how the story went on and ended. After i finished it i absolutely wanted to see the film again. And so i did, it wasn't as scary as i had always remembered it, but it was still more scary than most horror/thrillers i've seen recent years( and i've seen many). Although the book is obviously better (as usual) the film is absolutely a must-see. Tim Curry has a great part as Pennywise the Clown, and does a great job, making a simple clown a terrifying monster.
