Sean Connery 1 Connery set the foundation for what was to come
and encompassed all aspects of the Bond character
that we identify with better than any that followed.
Daniel Craig 2 Craig is the darkest and most human of the Bonds and his films reflect that and not since Connery have we had a Bond so memorable but his films are more serious which makes his character not quite as engaging or fun as Connery.
Roger Moore 3 His films are the most inconsistent and silliest at times but I find him quite appealing even in his bad films.
Timothy Dalton 4 Tough call for me between Dalton and Lazenby but I did think he was quite effective in his 2nd outing and for that reason I'll give him the edge but there's no denying that the bottom 3 aren't in the same league as the top 3.
George Lazenby 5 He may not have the charisma or charm of Connery or Moore but I found him acceptable in his one stint at Bond and felt he suited the material perhaps better than either of those 2 but Craig might have been perfect for the role.
Pierce Brosnan 6 For me it's not even close, there's just something about Brosnan that rubs me the wrong way and he is by far the worst of the Bonds.
