Female Forces (2008)
Inspiration Show for all police officers, not just female
Female Forces is a reality show about the female police officers working in Naperville, Illinois.
I think this show is a great inspiration for not just female officers, but any officer-or any person thinking of having a career in law enforcement.
This show gives a good amount of attention to all aspects of a police officer and their career. From the wild chases, drunken fights, and even the tedious and often boring paperwork.
Any female officer will want to watch this show. It truly shows you that anyone can have a successful career in law enforcement-even females. Women surely may have more challenges, but these female officers on the show surely shows us how it's done properly.
On the Road in America (2007)
Four Very Narrow Minded Middle Eastern Youth
I just watched the Chicago version. It's a good show but I think they have such a narrow mind. They assume that all Americans hate Middle Easterners, they think that we all have negative thoughts about what's going on in terms of the war and their people. They criticize our sports, our people, and most importantly, our thoughts.
Do they have any clue that there are a lot of Middle Eastern born people living happily in the States? Do they think that all Americans are white Christians? If so, they are DEAD wrong.
They learned the wrong things about us just like we learned the wrong things about them. The only different is that I-and many others- don't believe everything we are told and have our own mind and our own curiosity to look into things for ourselves.
In fact, I WANT a guy with a Middle Eastern culture/background. I never thought badly about people from over there and so I think these young kids that are in this documentary need to take a good step back and a good hard look around and STOP ASSUMING.
