Well, apparently Zack Snyder can. The film is so slow all the way through; betwen the opening and minute 50 there is no action. A terrific cast and a story that could be fun has gone to waste. I would recommend watching this movie in high speed or fast forward through.

Even though my expectations were low before watching the film, I did not enjoy it at all.

CGI to make old actors young has worked to some extent for their faces, but not for the body language. It felt weird throughout the movie. We have seen these top actors in the same roles dozens of times, and watched similar mob films hundreds of times; unfortunately there was nothing new in this film.

The director had stated that "only netflix would fund his film". I also feel the same way; only Netflix would fund a film with just considering the name value of the director and actors.

I'm really sad to see how underrated this movie is. I am always looking for action movies I haven't seen, that are just proper, (doesn't even have to be good, just watchable), so having bad reviews for really good movies like this one just prevent people like me to miss such good ones.

This movie has very good acting, a fine script, and a lot (really a lot) of action.

Another thing I like about the movie is that the main character is a real woman, fixing her own problems, not depending on men to do everything for her. (Just like most women are in real life?)

As today (almost) every new action movie is a Marvel or DC super hero movie, if you are looking for some old-school action , this one is a good choice. It is a bit like John Wick series, (but not as good), still a good one to watch at home lying on the sofa. If you are not expecting to be a better, wiser or smarter person, or make the world a better place just by watching a film, and just to have fun, this one is definitely a good choice.

If you are a person that watches every movie trying to understand what is the symbolism there, what does the director want to say in that scene, is that a reference to this culture object over here etc, then simply don't watch this film, because this one is not a "that kind of movie."

The film starts with OK acting but then continues with very bad acting. Feels like the director started with high motivation and took many shots and pushed the actors at the beginning, then got bored (or understood it will not happen) and just got on with it. Script is not interesting, the actors are not acting at all and just reading some lines. Bad even for a low-budget movie.

Does not fall into the "it is so bad that it is good" category the film is pushing for; it is just a bad movie in the end.

If you have just grown up watching The A-Team on TV, you may just think that you will be disappointed with the reproduction of a TV series you adore, this time as a movie. However, I just think that the movie is even greater than the series now. I mean, this movie does not teach you anything, does not try to make this world a better place, does not try to have a secret meaning. This movie is just 100% pure action. Acting is really great, all the actors have just become one with their characters, and they act like a real team for the whole duration of the movie. There are some really unique scenes I have not seen in any other action movie. I think that if the name of the film was not The A Team, this film would become one of the action movie milestones.

Candy Candy is a great anime. First of all, it certainly has the best soundtrack in all the animes. anyone who has even watched only one episode picks up the "watashi wa watashi wa watashi wa candy" lyrics at once. This anime series is about friendship, love without any expectations, being kind and all other feelings we lose while growing up. Candy is really great for kids as it teaches being good for just the sake of being good. I think that it is even better for grown ups as it helps us learn those long-lost virtues I have mentioned above. Also, for the people who have watched this when they were little and when there were only a couple of TV channels and a handful of cartoons only in the mornings, this series is a good reminder of childhood memories.

The scenario is quite different from the book, however this could be understood. What i really don't like about the movie is that the Turks and the gypsies are not played by people who can speak Turkish. They have just made some actors memorize Turkish dialogs. It would be much better if they spoke English, or Turkish speaking actors were used. Most of the Turkish dialogs take place in a gypsy camp, so at least the gypsies could have spoken English. Also, the gunfighting scenes seem very unrealistic. People may think that i am expecting too much from a movie made in 1963, but there are many great movies taken with lots of care in 60's, so calling this one a good movie would be disrespectful to all those good ones. Still, I don't regret watching this , but just because it is a Bond movie. Also, I think that Sean Connery hasn't done his best in acting, which makes me think even he didn't like the movie.

I think the movie is certainly above average. It takes place in a ghetto district, in which life is very hard. In fact, the book is about the change of this neighborhood and Salih's family due to modernization. However, the movie is more about crime and drama. In the book, we read how Salih grows from childhood to adulthood, while in the movie, he just grows up after one event. On one of the comments, a viewer has written that there are many unrealistic things in the movie. On the contrary, I found the movie very realistic. However, it is a different reality which we've never seen. It is about a neighborhood to which cops are afraid to come and every known crime is committed openly. And about the cast, the acting is really awesome. Okan Bayülgen has the central role, but even he is just diminished by the strong acting of Savaş Dinçel, Zafer Alagöz, Burak Sergen and Mustafa Uğurlu. I would also recommend you to listen to the soundtrack of the movie.
