The Help (2004– )
Like watching a sad backup job for all the lost Child Stars...
5 March 2004
The show starts with a girl named Maria in a skimpy French maid's outfit. She continues to complain about how she has to clean for a sad bunch of rich snobs. Camille Guaty has never been renowed for her acting abilities (i.e.Gotta Kick it Up), and lives up(or down as some may view it) to her reputation.

Mindy Cohn plays the bitter cook of the household who well is just there to play the pudgy person who delivers bad comic relief and grosses the audience out by scratching her head in the families dinner. Victoria Spelling of course begged daddy dearest to pay the exec's to get a spot as a quirky dog walker who has teretz or something. Any time her name is called she spews out her true feelings, after the second spew it became old fast.

Then there is the last roundup of stars gone wrong, the worst of all David Faustino. In he walks halfway through the show and the fake audience clap loudly as if he was still on Married with Children, he then burps and goes to the refridgerator to show his true addiction as an alcoholic. Wow this show is getting better as it goes on.

The demeaning of women occurs throughout, with the women being shoved into skimpy outfits and then having cat fights; all the while whoring themseleves off in a cheap degrating matter. Promiscuity run a muck with a continuing gag of the Chauffer screwing around with the Boss'favorite daughter, but that was mostly implied thank god.

The sets looked used with a dab of cheap peach paint to show the true malibu status of the Hamptons (which wasn't even good). The acting and blocking of the actors was horrendous! What I mean is when the actors didn't talk they just stood there. The conflict in the plot was so silly that it made up for the un-funny, un-originale, un-talneted cast and script. If all the shows elements combined and left to stew (i.e. we're subjected to more episodes) it would become a sick soup that would make the viewer want to puke.

Don't watch. From the looks of the pilot the audience must have been held at gunpoint to recieve any laughs for the pathetic jokes. This series has no promise to it what so ever...

Lizzie McGuire (2001–2004)
I highly disagree
3 November 2002
I am the complete opposite with the last commentor on how bad he or she said it was. The show isn't that bad. For one thing I think Hilary Duff and the rest of the cast are fine actors who put alot of hard work into they're roles. La laine (Miranda) is very good. Gordo (can't remember the actor name) has a tough job with trying to pretend to be thirteen (in actuality he is eighteen). The parents are not annoying I think they portray the good mentor's in Lizzie's life. As for matt I think he isn't the best character not by a long shot. It is actually his friend Lanny who is more funny than him. The last commentor is right that they talk to much about Ethan Craft but that is what makes it mildly funny. You have to admit though the animations are very funny. Well thats all I had to say. As for me I give the show an 8/10 it's great for pre-teens and even in the later year of being a teenager.

Spider-Man (2002)
This Movie Really Really was Korny
2 November 2002
As you can see from my title of the subject I thought this movie was very very korny. I just rented the dvd and all through it I counted the minutes to when it would end. Yes the special effects were well done( i.e. the flying through the city), and the action packed fighting scenes I actually didn't yawn at. Although the Goblin did have a very bad costume, he did have the only one good line. That's it the line and the beginning credits were the only things enjoyable. Some major faults in this movie is when Peter discovers he actually can climb walls. Question wouldn't he panic and go totally insane? I would for sure, but no this is not taken into consideration in the movie. Then when Peter fights the bully. Wouldn't the kids afterwards scream out MUTANT, and then call the cops? No they just say "Peter I knew you were a freak". This emphasizes the korniness that I am talking about. What about all those times that Peter a.k.a SPIDER MAN is saving the city of crime, and in the rememberance of the death of his uncle? Well...the saving he does is like a human saving a cat out of a tree. They don't come up with natural crime-saving. I mean what kinda of fireman trusts a man in a paperthin spandex suit? COME ON.....the plot lacked. Was rushed, and made all the extra actors point to the sky to say look there is spider man. HELLO That is superman's cue NOT SPIDERMAN! I didn't like Kirsten Dunst at all she sucks at playing the damseld in distress. She's not good enough for that role, and Tobey Mcguire is cuter with the glasses. It was all korny and I can't remember any other pointers, because I'm trying to block out the 108 minutes I wasted of my life.

Fare thee Well Ruby
