I just finished watching "The Butterfly Effect" on DVD. This is my second time seeing it, once seeing it in the theaters and I absolutely loved it. I got a chance to see The Director's Cut Version of the film which I thought had a equally powerful ending as the original. This movie is truly original and Ashton Kutcher does a fine job acting in a dramatic role along with his supporting cast. I recommend "The Butterfly Effect" to see. It definently is sad and truly captures the heart by the end. This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through because you don't know what to expect next. The directors gave it a nice style with neat special effects. "A truly winning film!"

Alien Vs. Predator was well anticipated for me this summmer and I really enjoyed what I saw. I wasn't expecting for this to be a really good movie or get good reviews but I just wanted to be entertained and it was just that. The movie was actually better than I thought it would be. Yes it contained a few slapped together parts, such as the ending which I thought worked for the kind of film but it could have been better thought out. The characters in Alien Vs. Predator were another slapped together factor which also could have been better developed. I do not believe they should throw together a seqeul to this film but if they do I'm sure I'll be there to see it. I thought Alien Vs. Predator was good enough to make me want to see it again! Hmm... I loved it!

Pieces of April was a very moving yet funny film which I enjoyed almost 95% of the film the whole way through. Katie Holmes definently gave her best performance yet and most diverse, making much more unique and enjoyable to watch. Derek Luke plays her boyfriend very well and I felt they had great chemistry together for the time that they spent on screen. The story about the enstranged family was very interesting and yet was out plot device. The movie works so well with its digital video quality and gave the movie a much more believable and realistic vibe. I loved the way the characters were broken up into their separate stories which gave the movie so much depth. The end was one the most amazing scenes and heart grabbing endings done well I've seen in a while. I think Pieces of April contained truly winning characters who you like yet can feel for and a story that is so universal. This gets the A and the 10/10 from me. I say "SEE IT".

Taking Lives is an entertaining thriller, not the best but good and held my attention throughout the entire film. Angelina Jolie gave a pure and believable performance yet she looked gorgeous and was fun to watch. What I liked about this movie was its cast, Jolie, Hawke, Martinez & Sutherland and I thought they were all almost written by the book characters for a serial killer thriller but I thought they were really well done which gives me a gut feeling to watch the movie. The movie had a beautiful style, with creative shots and a dark feeling. It was dissapointing to have watched the movie and see that it was missing some interesting scenes viewed in the trailer which I thought was well done as well. But overall I'd have to say Taking Lives is entertaining at many levels contains a so so predicatable ending but Twisted my mind at the very end where you can root for the main character.

Barbershop 2: Back in Business wasn't as good as it's original but was just as funny. The movie itself lacked little things which the original held which made it much more enjoyable. Back in Business seemed to be just another worthless sequel made to bring in money with a very thin plot. Cedric the Entertainer's terrible excuses for flashbacks ruined the movie and seemed to be a bad way to try and get the audience to adapt more with the character. Overall Barbershop 2: Back in Business was a sequel not needed, without the originals charm, soul & spark.

The Big Bounce definently has a wide and fun cast including Morgan Freeman, Owen Wilson, Gary Sinise, Charlie Sheen, Bebe Nuewirth & newcomer Sara Foster. This was an absolute terrible choice for Foster to choose for her first Hollywood film and a complete disgrace for the other big names involved with this crap. The plot was confusing, yet bad. It seemed to jump from scam to scam and just wildly messy. Some of the dialouge was terrible and it failed to bring many laughs at all. Got so bad it makes you happy to get up and use the bathroom. The movie also failed to bring us its point of existence.

A beautiful Kid tries to come across as having a good point but at the end I didn't feel as if it touched me as hard as it was trying. The script does have some good, original dialouge and the story is quite original it was just lacking simple things, which included the visuals...

The Sweetest Thinbg will send you on a funny adventure along with Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate and Selma Blair.... Though the film does get lost in a cliche... and a slightly slapped together plot it still is fun.

Although the plot may seem a bit slim "Barbershop" is a great, entertaining, heartfilled comedy... which shows Ice Cube's best performance and leads a dynamic cast with a rememerable story... Definetly see it!

Although "The Ring" gives viewers an interesting edge of your seat thriller, it doesn't release too many scares and drowns its plot and characters into a confusing storyline. Besides the confusement and cheap scares, the film does show stylized cinemotography and some good twists...

Thought "13 Ghosts" does have its moments, the film does send the vibe that it was quickly slapped together and lacks in scares... but it's a decent C- movie with some good laughs... that'll give viewers something to do...

While "Jurassic Park 3" doesn't hold a candle light to it's original, it still sends the audience on a thin plotted adventure with enough thrills to keep the film shining. Good sequel... see it

A Raggedy Mess. with a Raggedy story to go with it.... The only good thing about this film, is that it's a decent outlet to do on a boring day, other wise the length of the film shows just how long it took to come up with the story of the film... 20 minutes...

The Game adapted "Resident Evil" shows great action, a nicely done score and some rememberable scenes... though the film doesn't introduce any characters from the game... it still hands down a good plot and some good characters to go with it.

"Jurassic Park" introduces a group of original and intresting characters and mixes an original and interesting plot with it. Giving us an up to date dinosaur thriller, it sends an excellent and action-packed plot that will be remembered through times...
