Nope (2022)
Enjoyable
Nope was a pretty good horror, though I hope a directors cut gets released in the near future, they butchered off almost 2 hours from the first cut because it was a 4 hour long film.
Santiago, Italia (2018)
lol
Extremely one sided, paints Allende as a victim when he was just an incompetent leader who destroyed the country, then another evil fixed his mess. There are no heroes in either side, just two sides lying their teeth out about each other, they were all wrong and still to this date blame each other. This film is one of those sides where you can evidently see all the cuts made during the military officials interview, leaves anyone with critical thinking skills wondering what did he say that was cut out? Total biased trash.
Evil begot evil and that's just a recipe for never-ending hateful society still hurting each other.
Far Cry 6 (2021)
Wonderful!
Far Cry 6 is my first in the series with the Motion Blur settings being available on the consoles to turn off and on, the previous games made me nauseous as it did with a lot of people. I hope Ubisoft continues adding that feature from now on as more players will be able to finally play the Far Cry series without the blur motion sickness.
Salvation (2017)
Illogical and incoherent...
I want my wasted time back watching this series. Truly found salvation the moment it got cancelled, for a good reason. Now I can move on with my life.
Invasion (2021)
Good series, not for...
Not for those who enjoy fast paced nonsensical type of films. Invasion is a slow series, pretty much for those who have longer attention spans, most of the negative reviews are from those frustrated people who have short attention spans and want to watch something quick with crappy CGI and plenty of plot holes, like Transformers... Unfortunately good Sci-Fi always gets cancelled because of whiny people. Aliens start appearing after the 5th episode in case the short attention spanned types running out of adderall become interested again.
Cosmic Sin (2021)
Best movie of the year.
Amazing fight sequences, CGI out of this world, best actors and phenomenal script. That's what I'm saving for Jack Snyder's 4 hour film.
Now back to reviewing this film... Ehhh somewhere in par with house of the dead.
Red Dot (2021)
animal and baby killing snuff
Dog gets beheaded, pregnant woman executed. Trash.
Shadow in the Cloud (2020)
Fun
Who wouldn't want to watch Chloë Grace Moretz fight hand to hand against a Gremlin? It's an alright movie with some interesting WWII folklore about Gremlins causing mischief on planes, the animation in the beginning is real archival footage as is the poster on the locker.
Stardust (2020)
Not really the producers fault
The music is not there, the actor sucks so bad that William Dafoe could out perform him in his younger years. No music no film.
Our Cartoon President (2018)
Wanted to like it...
The humour is really lame, it's nothing like watching South Park, it's dull and easily to get bored of. I'll stick with South Park.
Fear the Walking Dead (2015)
Getting bad
Liked it until season 4, way too many bad decisions are made which didn't happen as much as before Morgan joined. Sparing the lives of psychopaths who keep coming back to kill off members of the group, again and again, really stupid. Too much dialogue in the 4th season drag on slowly, no more using common sense by characters, likely intentional by the producers as suspenseful filler to make the episodes last to the end. Everyone drops their guard around dangerous strangers, and everyone overly keeps their guard up to friendlies who are just going on their own business.
Kursk (2018)
Ok but historically inaccurate.
First, The sinking was in August 2000.
The Russian subs used at the Titanic which is referenced in this movie during the failed rescue scene never occurred in that year. They loaned them to James Cameron for his Ghosts of the Abyss from August to Sept in 2001, 1 year after the Kursk sinking. Did anyone research this or just tossed in this inaccuracy for more filler?
Creed II (2018)
Not what I expected
The first fight was better than the second fight.
Adonis ribs are broken again and he fights as if they weren't broken... very unrealistic and stupid hollywood fantasy. Makes me sympathize more with Drago, no moral in the end, Russians made to look bad for the second time, guess it's easy when they are presented by non-russian actors.
Fever (2016)
Bourn Identity?
"An assassin loses his memory in an accident. He wakes up knowing only his name, and a subconscious memory of a crime he has committed."
Sounds like Jason Bourne to me...
Roman Empire (2016)
Confusing
Was cleopatra presented to caesar in a rug? or did she save his life from Ptolemy? what's going on? inaccuracies? is this a documentary or a historical fiction series?
Mosquito (1994)
Terrible and Fun
I remember skipping a day from school back in 95 and watched this on VHS. All I can say is this movie had a long lasting effect remembering killer mosquitos than what I would of learnt in class if I'd gone to my grade 9 class that very day. Good times...
13 Reasons Why (2017)
It was ok, but far-fetched...
The series portrays Hannah as a girl with a victim complex, holding a handful of people accountable for her demise and exiting life having not to answer for her own accountabilities when her friend was raped or when she was witness to an incident that led to another students death. Instead she recorded her own faults by washing it down with blame on everyone else who was unaware of what she knew, and kept to herself. The writers of the series winged it and intentionally made a punching bag out of this character, pointing blame on those who were not directly responsible other than a rapist who again is paraded throughout a 2nd season, but ignored it through the last 11 episodes of the first season even when all the characters who listened to the tapes had no clue about it until Clay listened to the tape? And a mother who is deep-seated into casting blame for profit in a lawsuit against a school? did she forget that her daughter was raped after listening to the last tape? yet continues the lawsuit against the school? everything about this series is illogical... the only realism in this series was buried in order to continue to cash in on the title with more and more episodes, dragging it and painting more acts of treachery which makes everyone conscious about it 5 months later? even when those acts vindicated those on the tapes from being accused or feeling responsible throughout the first season? And who in their right mind would not hand the tapes to the police? Is Zach's crime really a crime? is it even bullying? So season 2 now has to create a reason why he didn't do anything because he was a coward to come forward? when did the writers decide that?
A Wrinkle in Time (2018)
What a Disaster
I wanted to like this movie because of the extensive marketing on it, I assumed it was going to be good, but then again look at how Fifty Shades of Grey and Twilight turned out after all the advertisements... I should of figured it was going to suck and this one kept putting me to sleep throughout the movie. The quotes was ridiculous, associating Einstein, inventors and Frida Kahlo with this was too much, even the dollar store gems on Oprah's forehead were crooked. Why was Oprah even in this film? she's not even a real actress, did she market this film? I could only assume it was her and her millions while trying to stand out in this film as some Goddess hovering over everyone else in her gigantic form. This movie was so bad, and criticizing it automatically makes everyone a racist? next they'll be crying out anti-feminism if you bring up how well Black Panther compared to this film. Wouldn't the antagonist non-believing closed minded Meg more susceptible falling into the darknesses seduction rather than a good boy possessing the power of belief?
Dunkirk (2017)
Let down
I was expecting an epic film from all the hype and trailers. The number of evacuees didn't resemble the real images of the exodus that took place at Dunkirk. The numbers were thinned down for this film, maybe 10,000 heads compared to 390,000 missing from the screen. the film was purely smoke and mirrors when it came to the soundtrack, repetitive and leaving you expecting something was going to happen... I feel at utterly disappointed when it ended.
