Heart of Stone (2023)
Not so bad but...bad enough!
When in the middle of an action movie I'm already bored and I pause it to do something else, it means that there is something wrong with that movie.
Gal Gadot was the only good thing about this movie. Her acting is admirable in a bad movie. Otherwise... nothing... The other actors are so easy to forget in their interpretation. I'm sorry for Alia Bhatt but it's like she was teleported from another kind of movie. The male actors seem to have been chosen precisely to appear stupid. The story is thin trying to copy Mission Impossible. The fight scenes are extremely poorly done.
Someone said in a review that if you give this film a low rating, you are sexist. No no no! There are so many very good action films with actresses in the main role, but this one is not among them.
The film industry should go back to choosing the right role for the right actor and stop putting the politically correct nonsense before.
Haita de actiune (2023)
Embarrassing
I am ashamed that it is a romanian film and that I wasted time of my life watching it.
After the questionable success of the film '' Teambuilding'' they thought they could make money from any nonsens. The actors play badly, in fact most of them are not even actors...the direction of the film does not exist...the script is embarrassing...
It is simply a film made with famous people from Romanian showbiz just to make money on his account. They used singers...stand up comedians...to make a bad movie and tried to cover it up with overarching messages of racism and corruption
Don't waste your time watching this movie.
Jason Bourne (2016)
Good...but not so good!
The Bourne trilogy - the best spy movies and some of the best action movies of the last fifteen years. This Bourne movie is not so great. The years have put their mark on Matt Damon. I don't know if that's why, but the action scenes are blurry and shot too close. Alicia Vikander character lacks consistency and is not convincing. This time Tommy Lee Jones is an old man without too many ideas. I do not see how the director of CIA could behave so silly... And someone please tell me how the final battle ends in it's last 10 seconds because it is totally unclear and illogical how Bourne win... But, over all, if you close your eyes to details, then it's a pretty good action movie to spend your weekend watching.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Please stop! We've had enough...
I can't take it anymore. Hollywood went crazy. I think that directors and screenwriters were blinded by the desire to win money and prizes and they do not care about nothing.
Dear directors...your predecessors have created something. Why do you haven't made the same? You haven't the ability to do this? I know it's easier to take a story and change it but...it's stupid. I have many ideas for you: take Iron Man (if he survives the new Avengers movie) and put him to destroy Batman; take Hannibal Lecter, hit him in the head and make him the best profiler for the police; take Catherine Tramell and put her daughter to kill her and become the new star for Basic Instinct 3,4,5...you are pathetic.
About the film what can I say... It's place is not in Batman series. After Christian Bale was exceptional as Batman, Afleck is the worst Batman ever. He is like a stoned bat and his suit is more like Darth Vader outfit. He has bad dreams and wakes up with the need to kill someone. The fight scenes are mediocre, but the last scene with that alien troll is the worst. An alien troll who is resurrect by human blood...come on men! Seriously?!
Amy Adams is a Lois Lane without her innocence and humour. Despite the end she fails to make us resonate with her suffering. Her actions are meaningless. Lois Lane and CIA...please!... She throw the most powerful weapon (the spear that can kill the man she loves) in a pool and leave...
Henry Cavill has the best performance in this movie, but is not enough to make it a great one...and I am really sorry about that. I'm sorry that this film was made, I'm sorry that I've seen it and I fear its sequel...
London Has Fallen (2016)
Weak...
I gave a 7 but...I don't know why. Maybe because Butler is in.
I will be brief...the film is the same in it's ideas. The first half of the movie is promising and I thought I would see a good action picture. And even it was in this part. But the second half...I expected to see some American propaganda but it is too much. And the action scenes from the end of the movie are without common sense. The MI6 agent escape through the attic, but the president is surrounded...two men against one hundred...I stop here.
If you want to see more shootings, go to the movie...if you want to see a movie of value, stay home!
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
Finally!
This film brought me back to childhood and I'm grateful for it! I think it's the best part from 1983 until now, and fits perfectly in the series (that because I don't like the I, II and III). The new actors are good, H.Ford acting made me regret once more the passing of time. The special effects, the landscape are amazing and good humour is back. I would give from all my heart a big 10, but...there are a couple of things who stop me: - the final battle is imported entirely from IV part - second...oh my God! when Kylo Ren takes off his helmet (bad idea), I didn't know whether to cry or laugh. I thought I saw a young wizard from Harry Potter series who woke up in the wrong movie... - two young warriors, who have never held a sword in their hand and who believe that Jedi are a myth, fight with Luke sword better then new Vader...then why we need Jedi training? The force be with you!
Spectre (2015)
Way too long!
I am very disappointed. If the movie was 60 minutes shorter, I didn't have much to say. I would have gone home and forget this film until tomorrow. But it was too long... Daniel Craig is good and with a lot of humor, but the villains are forgettable. I am sorry but Lea Seydoux' character didn't have any charm in this movie. And someone, please, tell me if M. Bellucci played in this movie and, if she had, why?!... The plot is cheap, unfortunately is not even close Skyfall. There are many moments that don't make sense. It's like someone take a good book and make a movie only with some of it's chapters. Who is that guy, how did he find them, why a villain was killed by another...questions left in the air. And when a black driver appear in his vintage Rolls in the middle of the desert...sorry -it's to much!
