Well... after 2 episodes we can definitely see the disney (and probably Lucas) hand over this one.

Story is nice enough if you are a 10 years old child, acting is ok and the universe is fine (sets, wardrobe, special effects etc).

Directing certainly lacks pace and speed (seeing that 8 or 9 years old girl that cannot run very good escape grown men is totally absurd by the way), but maybe it is a wish by Lucas and disney , as this show is a direct extension of the very bad first trilogy.

So if like me you are a long time fan of the first trilogy you will be disapointed by that childish show, but hey maybe the next episodes will be less formated for kids (i doubt it).

Well... i had hopes and now i have disapointment :)

What a great movie... makes you think about so many things... if you have the chance to see it on theater go plz, help the people who give us great cinema :)

Just came back from the theater and what a ride this one has been. Everything in this movie is spot on: direction, acting, paste, cinematography, light, you name it.

I am curious to see how many Oscars this one is gonna get...

A brilliant piece of cinema.

I don't know why but i just keep watching this movie with pleasure. Not a absolute classic, but that movie has a special "taste" that makes it so special in my eyes, and warms me in a strange way.

Not the best work of Gerard Oury, but certainly his last very good one.

Belmondo is perfect, as most other actors are.

The story is absolutely not serious, but takes place during very dark times for Europe, giving a nice message behind the good laughs that you have.

Give it a try, don't take it seriously and, if like me you are fond of Belmondo, you will certainly have a good time watching this film.
