Dr. Mercy (2021)
Good Show-But Not Located in Chicago
I don't know why the show incorrectly states Dr. Mercy is in Chicago. They even show pictures of downtown Chicago skyline, landmarks and streets. The doctor is actually located 22 miles west/outside of Chicago in Lombard.
The Wrong Cheerleader Coach (2020)
Disappointed
Wow, what's up with the father. Was he suppose to act so over the top hyper/nervous. And the glasses--he constantly kept taking them on and off throughout the entire move. Very distracting, drove me nuts. Except for Vivica, the acting of everyone else was terrible.
Believers (2020)
Just Entertaining-Not Believable
I don't believe the "actual" footage, photos, and videos are real. The show is loosely using the word "actual." Sure, they are actual photos/videos BUT obviously made up/staged.
Killing Eve (2018)
What Did She Say?
Season 3 finale - thing is, with Villanelle's accent and soft spoken voice, I have no idea all what she said to Eve on the bridge. I really enjoy the show but a lot of times I have no idea what Villanelle is saying--even when I repeat the recording. Same thing with Carolyn. Oh well, I just "go with it" and try to figure out what's happening by their actions!
Reef Break (2019)
Pretty Good
Pretty fun but unrealistic show--no one is that quick and sharp as Cat is portrayed. And a bit farfetched; a 47 year old woman has three men totally in love with her; a 55 year old husband/FBI agent, a "30" year old cop, and a 40 year old former criminal partner. Nice fantasy though!
The 100 (2014)
Turn Off/Down The Darn Music!
Who in the heck thinks it is a good idea to play music throughout the entire show? Most of the time the actors speak in low and whispered voices and because of that darn music, you can't hear what they are saying. It's very distracting, annoying, and unnecessary. The show has an interesting story line and concept. Could this be the world's future--quite possibly. However, the viewer doesn't always know what is going on because you can't hear what they are saying. You can kind of figure it out by just watching but many details about what the characters are thinking and how they feel are lost by the loud overlapping music. And for that reason, I give it a 5 out of 10 rating. Producers, or whoever makes the decision about music, please consider not using it throughout the entire show.
