The Invisible Man (2020)
Good anxiety flick finally
Ever since Black Christmas remake METOO film i should say, i was looking for another good BlumHouse film and Invisible Man delivers.
Leigh Whannell is no doubt, a terrific writer and genius He is the true Saw creator.
Elizabeth Moss acting was brilliantly done.
Good flick with a nice little twist.
Sweet Virginia (2017)
Really wish Jon Berthnal character wasn't a weakling
Example the scene where he confronts the abuser in his hotel room he gets beat up. I was hoping he would let out some rage and a better show down between him and Christopher who played his part well. The killer spared his love interest so he showed some humanity.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
What the???
After first 10 mins of the film is what I said to myself "What the??? KIll off the main character of John Connor and if they fixed the future how are terminators still coming for him? Then after that is done, we get no eplanation much but a re-hash of how important this girl is who will give birth to a savior which not much is said about her future kid, but again another re-hash. The silly Arnold who is programmed to kill gets emotion and has a family? wtf did i just watch? Horrible take on this franchise. Salvation is 100 times better.
Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
Not as good as the original
A few laughs, awful dialogue and lame funny moments. Ending was cheesy. I guess If I had wine, i would have given more stars, but nothing too thrilled about it.
Rambo: Last Blood (2019)
Worst Rambo film of the franchise
I had a hard time watching this due to how bad it was. It was like taken, but add Rambo. First Blood brilliant, rambo 2 excellent, rambo 3 terrific, rambo 4 awesome along with that sniper guy, this one shouldn't have been made.
Child's Play (2019)
Not sure why fans of original pee their pants about this, but good fresh remake
So what you all expect, same story? I always thought the serial killer whose soul goes into a doll was cool when i was 9, but looking back it was a corny storyline. Sure I enjoyed Chucky and Brad Dourif for the voice, but with this latest remake the writers brought a different take to it which with the AI portion and it was nice to see Chucky in this can control anything so makes it much more effective and quite scary for modern future of AI robots. This remake actually makes you feel for the Chucky robot doll. I was very skeptical before going into watching this, but like many others, was shocked and surprised. Sure the characters could have been written better and some suspense added to the formula, but it's a horror flick. I noticed some reviews people said this was a weak comedy horror, umm what you think the rest of the child's play sequels were? Bride of Chucky? They were all comedy base horror. Also this remake did have a similarity with Bride of Chucky with the couple in Bride looking to be murderers, same thing with Andy here.
The Best of Enemies (2019)
Any film with Sam Rockwell is good with me
Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell were tremendous in this film. Sammy has always been a true actor and steals the scenes.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Zac nails it
People forget that Ted Bundy had a plea bargain for only life in prison with no death penalty. He refused it at the last minute which shocked the judge. I still like the 2002 Bundy film with Michael Reilly Burke who also did a great portrayal of Bundy. This is Zac's serious role for once and shows he is a great actor unlike some of his poor comedies.
What Men Want (2019)
Avoid at all cost
Horrible film. The Mel Gibson's side worked this doesn't work and a bit of a racial card jokes in the mix. Anything with Tracy Morgan you know will fail. He can't act nor is he funny.
Halloween (2018)
Decent sequel finally
But still Michael is a bit old 61? lol I would have rather watch a remake from one of Damien Cain's stories and Stevan Mena directing to keep Michael younger and the story modern. There is a lot of off screen kills in this sequel. H20 had a good sense, but hated the score and didn't like the Dawson Creek feel, but the ending of that was justice. The ending to this fell flat. Yes there will be another one. I would have still kept Halloween 2 alive and built off that making this Halloween 3. A lot of good references to the other films. I didn't like the beginning how they remade what happened to Michael after the ending of the first one. They changed the ending.
Malevolence 3: Killer (2018)
Big disappointment
Bad budget, home made camera, bad acting, bad execution and terrible ending. The film had a good idea and i been waiting for this film for years. I enoyed the last two. I wanted to see Martin reunite with his mom. I was unsure why Martin's mom didn't go with the agent at the end to confront Martin. I would have had the mom knock out the agent and the film ends with her protecting her long lost son. I expected more. I thought Mena was ending this series. Looks to be another sequel. The actor who plays Martin looks like a young Norman Reedus.
Hell Fest (2018)
Great Slasher flick too bad they don';t release horror films in OCT for better Box office money
With Small foot and the not so funny Night School, there isn't much hope for this great slasher original flick at the box office. It will come and disappear in a week or two.

The Predator (2018)
Im with everyone else. THe movie was all over the place
When did they have time to get motorcycles? What was the point of first predator then a gigantic one? I know there was an upgrade but i got lost. The predator dogs just sit there then there is one who is frendly. I don't remember if that dog lived or died? ha awful acting the trailer was probably a better film than what I saw. I can't wait for the Halloween sequel. HEard that is very well done. They should have went with the original script where Arnold appears at the end.
