The Matrix Reloaded (2003)
I loved it
I just came from seeing it for the third time (Wednesday, Friday, tonight) and I absolutely loved it. I wasn't that impressed with the first movie. I mean, our reality isn't reality; comic books having been toying with that idea for years. But I really liked Reloaded. So okay, the plot dragged a bit and it probably should've ended before it did and I haven't liked Keanu Reeves in anything since the first Bill and Ted movie (I was, like, 8; sue me), but the awesome action scenes (especially the freeway chase) more than made up for that. I definitely could've done without that ridiculous Powerade commercial in the beginning (good drink, though).
Atlantis High (2001)
Odd, but I like it
Does anybody actually understand this show? I found it since it comes on right after my new favorite TV show, The Tribe. A lot of the same talented actors from Tribe are up here, too, but unlike Tribe, I find the plotlines very difficult to follow. But I've resigned myself to the fact that Atlantis High is just a very bizarre show and I'm never going to understand it all of the time. So I'll just sit there confused until the end of the show when, suddenly, it all makes sense and I think "Hey, this was a great show."
The Tribe (1999)
Awesome show
I found this show at 2:00 in the morning on WAM recently and I'm so addicted to it. To my younger sister, it's proof to our parents that life wouldn't be so terrible if they (our parents) didn't exist. To me, it's a lot like Showtime's Jeremiah, which I watched also. Like someone else said, it's refreshing to see a teen-oriented drama that isn't manufactured crap from the WB, like Dawson's Creek (which should've been canceled after the second season). The only thing that could make Tribe better is if it came on at more reasonable time (or if I lived in England) for those of us who have to be at school and work in the morning.
