I originally was not overly excited about this movie. After hearing some strong recommendations from friends, I went to check it out and was so happy I made the trip. It is absolutely amazing. You feel such joy watching the quality and care that goes into every scene. I do have to say I am a huge fan of Broadway shows, if you are not or do not enjoy musicals, this is most likely not the movie for you. If you are, it is a must see.

It was nice to see that they stuck with the story with minimal alterations, but still offered their own flare. Will Smith did a great job, and those were some big shoes to fill. It is nice that Jasmine is a bit stronger in this film, even if it does not quite fit the time/location accuracy. Vocally and visually the film was on point.

I have to agree with quite a few of the other reviews, this lacked the heart that was in the original. The story is a touching one, and this film concentrated more on trying to have the actors belt the music and lost the soul that was captured in the original. It was very visually appearing, but when I feel the need to watch The Lion King, it will not be this version.

This was a youthful comedy, but one people of all ages could enjoy. It was filled with excellent one-liners that your friends will be repeating for months to come. I would definitely put this on your must see list. I heard that it was a hilarious film, and was worried that the hype had been to big for it going into see it. It still far surpassed my expectations. An excellent cast of unrecognized people, but do not let that be misleading. If you enjoy a good laugh out loud movie this is surely the movie for you. You may have to travel to a further away theatre but it is worth the trip. I would also be on the look out for Napolean memorabilia because the people who are fans are huge fans.

This was a movie not a documentary. I would recommend people who are not aware of the issues out there to see this, so that they maybe caught up, but I would ask for whoever sees it to actually use some intelligence while viewing it and see that it is complete propaganda. This movie will show you exactly Michael Moore's opinion on the political topics today with no room for interpretation, or even statistical facts to prove them. In fact some of the "views" were being doctored and that is why people are complaining since Moore doctored their stuff without permission, such as newspapers. I believe that this movie did not really establish anything new or open any eyes to anything that is not in the news. I believe that the only purpose this movie serves is to help fire people up more who are already fired up about the situations they already know about.

I found this to be an amazing film. I was highly impressed with it as a whole. I thought the acting to be very well done. The only criticism on the casting would be John Malkovich seemed to not quite fit the puzzle. I thought it was an excellent change of pace for Seth Green. I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. While it is sad there are some very comedic parts in it and issues that are dealt with are at a little different angle that those of the sopranos. I would strongly recommend this movie, and I find it to be of great entertainment. This movie shows a country bumpkin town if I have ever seen one, so there is a little bit of everything for everyone to relate to.

While I do not think it was a bad made film and the acting was decent, it was not enough to hold my attention. I would not say it was a horrible movie or the worst I have ever seen, but I also do not think I would be telling people to run out and see it. The character Ellen made me want to smack her and also the girl Claude for putting up with crap from Ellen. If you look closely there are several people who have gone onto bigger and better things that are in this not so well known film. It is easy to see the inner struggle between a girl trying to grow into herself and trying to be loyal to her undeserving best friend. This is a movie anyone who has an undeserving best friend should see.

This movie was hilarious. The Rock and Sean Williams Scott both make and excellent team. I would give a strong recommendation to go see this movie. The Rock shows his true acting ability, and that ability is that he is a star. Sean Williams Scott shows how funny he can be without having to be peed on or drink a beer with a little something extra. This is a very enjoyable movie, and worth every penny.

If I had spent any money on this movie I would say it was worth it. This was a great remake! I personally enjoyed it more then the original. It was well delivered. It would make you jump in your seats and provide plenty of comedic relief. It is a great movie to take someone who does not usually enjoy scary movies.

This is about the worst movie I have ever seen. This movie does match the quality of such movies as "THEY" & "Cabin Fever", but even those had name actors where this one fell short. The "eye candy" of this movie looked to be a 50 woman with a bad face lift. (just an example of the quality). I would have rated this movie in the negative if possible. Ladies I have to tell you that the men were not bad to look at, but not much either. If you were planning on going to see this movie I would strongly recommend saving your money.

I honestly went to see this movie for Orlando Bloom & Johnny Depp. I got a lot more than I paid for. It was wonderful A+++. A movie I could watch over and over again. Johnny Depp brought Jack to life, and did an amazing job. A great movie for anyone. I would def push to go see it.
