- An elegant and beautiful direction by spanish talented director José María Sánchez (don't miss his film debut "Pájaros de ciudad"!).
- Ángela Molina at her best: she acts, sings, is beautiful and has great chemistry with co star Harvey Keitel (and with Mimsy Farmer too!).
- A wonderful story. This is undoubtly the best adaptation of Carolina Otero's life.
