CSI: Miami (2002)
A Show I don't mind staying in for.
Thankfully now that Megan (beat) Donner has left to find a better job this show can really take off. The Characters all have their moments of insight in a show that is entertaining from start to finish. If the science baffles sometimes we are quickly let in on the meanings and shown the right direction. David Caruso is very good as Horatio Caine but it's the back up team that really steal the show here. Rory Cochrane , Adam Rodriguez and Khandi Alexander are all outstanding and manage to catch the sun despite Caruso's shadow. Each show is packed with a little of everything including humour , shock , drama and suspense. A show I don't mind staying in for. If CSI has the edge , CSI:Miami is fast catching up.
The Low Life (1995)
Well worth watching
I highly recommend you see this film. The story revolves around one mans struggle to be unaffected by those around him no matter how much they care or try to help . The characters are very well rounded and all serve a purpose (we'll have no throw away characters here thankyou!) The acting is suburb and Rory Cochrane delivers , as usual , a well rounded performance perfectly capturing the stoic struggle with subtlety and intelligence. Sean Astin is at his nerdy best with strong support by Ron Livingston .
Well worth a look.
