The movie endeavors to replicate the hypothesized experience of pre-death unconsciousness, resembling a dream-like voyage intermingling final and profound memories. However, this ambitious concept falls short in execution, resulting in a narrative that feels both pointless and meaningless.

The film lacks a discernible moral or engaging plot, suffering further from a script that fails to resonate or add depth to its premise. The only saving grace is the decent performance delivered by the main character, which, while commendable, is insufficient to salvage the overall experience.

Just found it useless. Sorry.

Simply the closest thing to a waste of time that exists in the world!

If this is a way to keep some production engine running, maybe I could find a sense in i ... but if the goal was to make an actual movie, mmmh!

I found much more sense in Steven Segal's movies 😂👍🏼

Useless!

This is so bad, I had to watch it all! How could anyone write something so... wrong? It's unbelievable!!

The way people act and react to situations is just completely unrealistic. Their behaviour is illogical and makes no sense based on what's going on...

Random people wakes up in a desert island, with no memory, all dressed up the same way, with random (useful) objects found on the beach, and after just 10 minutes into the show, they are:

• sunbathing (with no water)
• taking a swim in oceanic water where "duh" there are sharks
• taking a walk to find out where they are (with no water)
• trying to rape each other

They are all super energetic, no dehydration symptom, no physical harm due to lack of food...

And this is just the beginning... can't wait for the rest LOL

My question is simple: if none of us ever saw the original cartoon, would this be a good movie? I personally don't think so. I think it's just a realistic version of the original motion picture, but that's definitely not enough!!! Obviously I love the story, and I usually like the way Disney is approaching to these remakes. But this time I guess they just missed something.

Maybe it's the missing of expressions on too-much-realistic animals, maybe it's just that adapting a cartoon to a movie without actually adapting the story and the rhythm is just not possible, I don't know...

While the jungle book left me with a positive vibe, this one left me just asking myself: was it worth it?
